Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons: - No longer gives me a chance to appreciate at the loadscreen artwork in games!

Pros: - Speedy startups and shutdowns- Very fast in-game load time- Silent operation
Comment:
Recieved this SSD with my NCIX PC. They assigned this SSD as the boot drive. I found the 120GB version of this Sandforce to be the best in terms of price capacity ratio for me. 120 still gives me enough wiggle room for some of my Steam games, while not costing an arm and a leg. 20-23 seconds to boot into Windows 7, and only 6-8 seconds to shut down. Very impressive technology considering that it's also completely silent and throws off very little heat.I'd really like to emphasize how quickly this thing handles games though. I installed a few of the Total War (Medieval 2 and Empire) releases on this and the infamous 2 minute load screens flash in front of me. I'm very impressed at how much more enjoyable games are with this. I would certainly purchase this again, and with Corsair's 3 year warranty - you can't go wrong.*Note to anyone having difficulties with checking TRIM in command prompt: Locate the cmd.exe and make sure you right-click and "run as administrator" before you type your fsutil behavior query.

Cons: -none yet

Pros: -Fast-decent price

I use this thing for my OS and my most commonly used apps/games. It runs very quick. Takes almost no time at all to load windows and get to the desktop. Real improvement when loading games as well. Very impressed with this SSD. Could consider buying another to run in RAID 0 if I needed the space. I think it's a good buy.

Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons: none - maybe price, but this was a god deal

Pros: unbelievably Fast drive AND delivery!
Comment:
I ordered this drive on Dec. 2 at 1:45pm and it was at my door, in my hand at 3:00pm Dec. 3!! for like 10 bux! A SWEEEET job by NCIX, considering it came across all of Canada, from British Colubia to New Brunswick.ok, so this is my first venture into the world that is SSD. I've been debating for awhile but the cost was always deciding factor as I didnt figure it was worth it. Then I seen this "Cyber Monday" deal on NCIX for the Corsair F120 for 200bux and read an SSD review q anandtech.com and of course with Xmas right around the corner, I figured I'd jump. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT IS!! I have: ASUS P6t DeluxV2, Intel i7 920 q 3.8, 12G corsair RAM, 1000w Corsair PSU & Asus Xonar STX for a system and from the second I touch the power button, it is 23.2 SECONDS till the desktop loads! Thats not timed from after POST, that is from the moment I touch the power button! 23 F'n seconds!? thats incredible! it was taking over 1.35min. Installation was a joke, just make sure ya set your BIOS storage drive as AHCI and disable the Marvel storage control IF you have one. the included adapter is metal and worked with my HD, clip on, slider brackets just fine. The drive came with Firmware 1.1 and there is a v2.0 avl at corsair.com which was simple to update. One thing odd that happened, was after the pc rebooted during the firware update, my BIOS settings got set back to their defaults? I'm not sure what was up with that, but when i went into the BIOS, the SSD was still showing and AHCI was still selected, but my OverCLock needed to be set again? Anyway, if your debating the SSD purchase, do your homework REAL well. some of the "stats" are misleading and also some other peoples "problems" are misleading. Anandtech is great and also TheSSDReview.com for checkin up.

Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons: although i do like the increased, i have this unsatisfied feeling that im not getting the full performance of this SSD drive because i only scored 6.9 on Windows Experience Index while others are having 7.7 score. For some reason i wasn't able to put my SATA on AHCI mode because it would stay on black screen after saving the settings on my bios and restart, had to reset my bios in order to run it again

Pros: worked right out the box, increased my start up time on win7 x64bit ultimate by 5 - 10 secs. total of 10 - 15 secs from 20 - 25 secs. i was using WD Caviar Black series. Game load times slightly increased. Softwares does open faster.

also i wasn't able to check if TRIM is activated on my windows 7 because it kept saying i have to be administrative to do this privileges. other than that i still like this SSD, i just hope i can fix this problem and have the full potential of this drive. here are my rigs:Intel Core i7 920 m 2.67ghzMotherboard: EVGA E758 3 Way SLIMemory: Corsair Dominator 6gbs DDR3 1600mhzVideo Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 285 1gbHD: SSD Corsair 120gb Force Series F120my rig is 1 year and 4 months old already. im thinking that it has something to do with my board but not sure, i would like to get help on this.

Corsair Force CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons: Possible TRIM issue..?

Pros: Fast, usable size, very cool running
Comment:
Purchased this SSD following the glowing reviews, and the price, only to start hearing of the numerous postings of TRIM issues with this drive. Mine came with firmware 1.11, and it's install with a Gigabyte P55AUD4P motherboard and a i7 860. Win7 64 bit loaded. This drive is fast, and I have not yet encountered any of the issues that are being posted over at the Corsair forum. I'm cautiously optimistic.
