Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons:- developed annoying left speaker static/popping issue only 10 days after purchase.

Pros:- good clear sound- RCA inputs on sub- descent bass
Comment:
I absolutely loved these speakers before the left speaker started having issues. Sound was great with not too much bass. Apparently Corsair is aware of the problem but has not issued a recall. From what I have read, people having to RMA the speakers are being forced to pay approximately $25 for shipping to Corsair. I bought these speakers less than 2 weeks ago for $39 and i'll be damned if I am going to pay almost that again to have a brand new product repaired. These things are going back to NCIX tomorrow and had better be exchanged without cost or hassle!

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons:Static noise at low volumeMuddy sounding when turned up(past ~60%)Poor highsCorsair MIR comes back as a Visa GiftCard that charges per transaction(found this out when I tried to put $20 at the gas and was denied)

Pros:Decent non-overpowering sub...can still hear the actual sound from speakersGood power to price valueSeparate aux jackDecent lows and midsPrice when on sale
Comment:
These are great speakers when priced at the $39.99 price when I had purchased them. And while I might sound critical in my review, that is primarily because I had moved down from an amp+speaker setup I had prior to this in order to save desk space. These speakers are good value when on sale for under $60 and face the exact same problems as other cheap 2.1 systems in that all have problems reproducing quality highs. In terms of recommendations on speakers I have listened to this is the best in the sub $60 market. I was also interested in the Eagle Tech 2.1s but bought these instead as the Eagle Techs don't have a headphone jack.

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons:Not worth the list price of $100At low volume there is a noticeable whistle coming from the speakers that can get very annoying. As someone else said, very bulky, and to add to that, the connector and wire on the right speaker is large and bulky taking up an extra 2 inches behind the speaker.Sub does not have good deep bass (it doesn't bump like i would want it to)

Pros:Looks OKPrice is OK when on saleSounds good at 50% volumeSub sounds good
Comment:
Overall, as a desktop speaker I would not recommend this. Being close to the speaker you can hear a very noticeable whistle. Also, I have them behind my monitor and needed to move the monitor out 3 inches farther compared to my bulky old IBM speakers from the 90's.If you plan to use these on a small TV, I suppose they would be OK, they would be better than the in TV speakers.Overall I am not satisfied and really wish that they did not whistle. I tried multiple ways to make them stop whistling and tried a second set too, all with no luck. :(

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons:none, if you buy it on sale

Pros:affordable, good midrange and bass
Comment:
bought on sale with rebate, net price below $50. At full price I would prefer the Bose companion 2. I currently have it plugged into 23 inch tv in bedroom, delivers enough sound output for mid sized room. Can also plug mp3 player into speakers.

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons: When I max the base(max dial and max EQ on computer) it almost seems like they are underpowered, on deep hard base notes the the tweeters basicly lose most of their power(while the sub still works perfect); definitely a power issue. I don't have any problems when I am using them at very high volumes normally however(with bass dial maxed and EQ on computer left at normal levels)

Pros: Good highs, lows resonate enough to rattle my door. Destroy my old Logitech 2.1 system by a very wide margin; both in clarity and bass.
Comment:
A very good value in speakers. They are nearly as good as my JBL speakers at reproding high notes, no crackling or distortion on the tweeters at high volumes. The bass also seems more than adequate for this price range. I would honestly recomend these speakers to anyone looking for a 2.1 system in the sub $100 range!

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2200 2.1 46W RMS 6IN Subwoofer PC Speaker System
Cons: Left speaker louder than right speakerBulky satellites

Pros: Good subPrice (When it was on sale)
Comment:
Got these on sale for $74 and they seemed like a great deal for the price, however, the left speaker is about 20% louder than the left at stock. I was able to balance it out by adjusting each speaker to different volumes. When I googled the issue I found that others had this problem as well. I don't know if all of them come like this or I got a pair with balance issues... either way I got it to work (so far) and the sub is pretty powerful so that's a plus. The only other downside is the bulkiness of the speakers, they are very deep and look a bit outdated (bought them online so didn't get to look at them in person till unboxing). Corsair could have designed them to look nicer, that being said looks should never be the deciding factor when it comes to speakers but it's always a plus.I don't think I'll be buying speakers from Corsair again they just simply didn't meet my expectation in quality and design.Regretting not spending the extra money on a pair of Logitech Z-2300's which in hindsight would have been an overall better choice.
