Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:None
Pros:Three months in and have no problems Comment:
Had this in my system for three months without any hiccups. In general I haven't had any RAM go bad on me except for my first generic stick. Probably twenty or so pieces since then. Oh wait, except for a piece of OCZ DDR2. I don't overclock so as long as your system is stable I guess any RAM is good like this Corsair. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:None
Pros:Good price, good compatibility. Comment:
I bought this RAM for upgrading older systems, and so far I haven't found any issues with it. I got it on sale for an excellent price, and it hasn't given me any trouble on a few different systems after a run of MemTest, where with other cheap DDR, I couldn't even boot. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:Price
Pros:Works out of the packageCompatible with other DDR Comment:
DDR is getting more expensive, so I jumped on this when it went on sale for $30. Pricey, but adds much needed boost to my old rig. Worked right out of the package and surprisingly, had no problems with my 2 x 512mb generic sticks that were there already. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:No heat spreader. But no need for it (Looks I guess..)
Pros:Cheap (remember when it was like $100 a stick?) Comment:
Can't complain. A needed improvement for the system, and it is working great. No problems at all.Didn't try any timings, nor did I try to push it. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:none
Pros:Good price, reliable, no crashes so far Comment:
Bought 2x1GB at $52.99 ea sale price. Did some benchmark using Memtest86 against the old memory in my Intel D875PBZ mobo and found 30% increase in data transfer rate. Needless to say, I just pullled the old 2x256MB chips out and set them aside for the rainy days. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:None other than it was quite a lot more than the ram sales on the main page (2 x 1 gig DDR 800 ram for like 20 bucks!), but i guess that is expected for old technology
Pros:Cheap and it worked! Comment:
I bought this ram for my parents for christmas to upgrade their ~ 1 year old compaq computer from the standard 256 megs of ram. The difference was night and day and it runs like a new computer (256megs with windows xp obviously is very bad). The model was a compaq presario SR1710NX and it works perfectly. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:-no heat spreaders
Pros:-cheap 1 Gb stick for $53 Comment:
Increased performance combined with a 512 mb stick for a total of 1.5 Gb. Cheap RAM for $53; can't go wrong with that. Just wanted some thing cheap and compatible to make the system run faster, smoother. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:None to speak of...
Pros:Excellent RAM for the price. Speed/timings much better than expected for inexpensive, CAS 3.0 value RAM: two 1GB sticks run dual-channel at DDR417 at CAS 2.0-3-2-6, or DDR500 at CAS 2.5-3-3-7 (all at default 2.6 V)! Comment:
I'm very impressed with the performance of this supposedly "budget" RAM. As mentioned above, my two 1GB sticks are running perfectly at much faster speeds and lower timings than specified by the manufacturer. They just passed a few hours of Orthos on my X2 3800+, as well as an overnight run of memtest86+ at DDR417 using 2-3-2-6 timings on my K8T800 Pro chipset motherboard. I don't know if my results are typical, but I'm seeing amazing performance out of Corsair Value Select that I would expect out of much more expensive, esoteric RAM. |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:Not found yet
Pros:Performance and price Comment:
Brought two of these for upgrading the two P4 computers in my office. Performance increased instantly and no compatability problems so far. I bought those at $52 each and really have no complaint at this price. They are even cheaper then 512M DDR266 version! |
I generally never really tinkered with my dad's comp but he had been complaining about it being slow (my dad isn't exacly the TECHY type). He was running a 2.4 GHz Intel Processor with 256 MB of Ram... Then i found this and the complaints have stopped
