The best DDR2 I ever owned.On my Maximus Formula I had 8GB of this RAM running at 1148MHz 5-5-5-15 with a PL of 7 and they were fast. Blazing fast! Very easy to overclock and very stable with stock volts. The Dominator fan was a bit noisy for my taste, but the performance of the memory was such that I had no problems with the little bit of extra noise. |

I purchased these to originally replace 2 1GB DDR2 memory sticks I already have, but afterwards found out that they were fine. I then recieved these and thought ''Hmmm...I wonder if I could add these to the other 2 to have a total of 6 GBs on Windows Vista 32bit'' I really truly believed that it would only see 4GBs, but guess what? IT SEES ALL 6GBS! AND IT IS WINDOWS VISTA 32BIT not 64BIT! Maybe it's because it has Service pack 1, I donno. But it works...woohoo! |

What can I say, other than I liked it so much I bought another set!! I dropped 8GB into a XFX750a with a Phenom 9650 and it's rock solid. I couldn't get the RAM to run much higher than 1100mhz without crashes, and I wanted to abuse my CPU so much more. No problem, just dropped the freq to 800mhz, left the voltage and timings to 1066 specs, and OC'd the dog doodie out of it. FSB-235mhz, CPU-2.7ghz, and Memory-940mhz..... running like a dream. |

This is the best ram I have ever had! So far I've overclocked the ram to about 1400mhz with no trouble. I didn't even know the ram came with the fan when I first bought it (Tigerdirect didn't advertise it under the item description), but the fan works great and was a good bonus. |

Nice set of RAM for a nice price. I am primarily concerned with my CPU overclock not my RAM overclock so this stuff works well to allow 500+FSB.The Airflow Fan that comes with this kit is good quality and quiet but it's a bit tall so make sure there aren't cables or tubing in the way. Also the top top of the Airflow Fan has a light blue card sticker thing that looks really cheesy. Be sure to peel it off carefully and you will find black anodized aluminum underneath that looks very 007. A definite improvement!Good stuff, will definitely pick up another kit when prices drop a bit. I haven't had a chance to really test the speed of this ram yet, so I can't say how fast mine will go. I'm running 2 kits (4 sticks) in an Asus P5Q-EM G45 motherboard at 800MHz 2.1V. Because I'm running 4 sticks, I'm maxing out the memory controller on my board. I still have to do more testing with just 2 sticks at a time to see how far I can overclock it and will report the results in time. |

In response to the last reviewer who said this memory is only compatible with 64-bit systems. The memory works fine on a 32 bit OS. I have these sticks in my Vista 32 build. The 32-bit warning from the manufacturer is a standard disclaimer on all 4 GB kits. They include the disclaimer because a 32 bit OS will not be able to address all 4GB of your ram after taking your video card into account. |

Just put these into my temperamental Asus Striker Extreme after two other sets of sticks failed and these just work! I haven't tested how high they clock as of yet but I'm pleased to report that you can crank the latencies down to 4-4-4-12 and run them k 1066mhz without problems. If you do have the means, buy these! You won't regret it.Note to folks who say that the fan unit doesn't clip on that well: you're supposed to clip them to the retention tabs not on the modules. I haven't tried overclocking the RAM, but it sits fairly tall in the midtower case blocking off quite a bit of the SATA and power cables. The 4GB package came with a fan which I was not expecting as it's another $20 to buy it separately. The fan doesn't securely fit onto the RAM chips, it simply has clamps to secure it on.
