Just bought this set to add to the original 4gb i built my method with, all in allƔ sticks and 8gb) i haven't had a single challenge. Bios sees it as 1333 so i didn't have to modify anything there. It doesn't make me breakfast..... Windows offers me a 6.9 for ram(with 8gb) and its only โ, seriously, what are you waiting for. |

functions good no difficulties at all, each sticks perform fine run windows 7 and VM ware fine and all my games beautifully none so far i have had corsair ram and other corsair goods ahead of and have friends with corsair goods and i have never ever had any negative experiences with their goods and i do not personally know any person who has so i trust the name, but i was a little concerned when i did some study on the item and i found that people today had been saying it had an early fail rate and they had issues loading operating systems and issues like that, but i decided to obtain the product anyway and im glad i did due to the fact each sticks function beautifully for what ever job they are put up against |

As always, it just appears to operate. Superior price. Heat spreaders included. None I've generally had good luck with the XMS series in both DDR2 and DDR3 flavors. They just generally seem to perform (at stock speeds) devoid of any messing about with BIOS settings or something. Gotta really like that. |

None I had difficulty loading Windows 7 on my new pc system, so I ran MEMTEST86 wich revealed that 1 of the two memory modules was faulty. I RMA'd the memory for a replacement (unfortunetly, the two modules came in one package, so I had to send both DIMMs back even although 1 was fine). I received the replacement DIMMs and ran MEMTEST86 once again... 1 poor DIMM once more!! Newegg is giving me a refund with no restocking fee and no shipping fee (I called it in). I am giving up on this procedure and going with a nearby retailer for memory. Newegg has a great RMA process. |
