I have been using this memory without any issues since I built my new machine. I have a Asus Rampage Extreme Mobo, 4GB of Dual Channel PC10600 DDR3 1333MHz Memory, Intel 2.6Ghz Quad Core CPU, a GeForce 9500 series Video Card and all the Hard Drive space I can use with a 500GB Internal Sata drive and a external 1TB Fantom Green Drive. I am running Windows 7 RC, Windows XP Pro 64Bit, and Windows Server 2008. The information that Aaron King stated about the voltage on this memory is not correct. Please check the Manufacturer Website as it takes 1.5v only.. |

I gave this all five's, but you need to have the ability to play with bios if you're going to get this ram. 90% of the time this ram will default to 1066mhz 7-7-7-20 1.5V setting. This ram needs to be atleast 1333mhz (unlinked to processor don't burn it out) 9-9-9-24 timing and 1.7V. If you can fix this on your computer then this ram is an amazing deal. IF YOU WERE LIKE ME and this was your first build and your cpu froze for 6 months, then you're going to be frustrated if you don't do this. |

My Noctua NH-U9B coupled with a Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P and this RAM posed an issue. The heat spreaders on this Memory are very high and got in the way while connected to DIMM banks 0/1. I ended up putting the memory in banks 2/3. The RAM basically prevented the aftermarket heatsink from locking down to the socket. I highly recommend memory, but recommend all users of large aftermarket HSF's to look for RAM with a lower footprint. Otherwise, this is a great performance/value memory set. |

Very happy with this memory. I had to send back the Corsair 1600mHz DDR3 memory I had planned on using because the Intel DX48BT2 motherboard does NOT support 8Gb @ 1600+ mHz (only supports 4Gb at the higher speeds). System is now very stable. I can now use all 8 Gb in Vista 64. Note: if you plan to use the Corsair Dominator airflow fans, you only need one per motherboard. The fan is wide enough that it covers all 4 DDR slots. |
I have a pair of these in my XFX NForce 790i MB with XFX GForce 9800 GX2 video and ThermalTake 750w PSU. I bought a second pair along with my new install of Windows 7 Ultimate for 8 Gbyte total memory. The new set is bad and I am returning to Corsair for swap-out. The original pair was the same way but has worked ever since swap-out with Corsair. Once they are working they work great - fast and stable with slight overclock. Trouble is getting a good pair.
