This is in response to Dez's "review". Don't mark a item down since you can't locate the drivers for them. If you Appear at the bottom of the assistance page for all of their merchandise, you will see a "If your product is not listed above, please click here." message. Once again, it is at the bottom of the page. Plus, if you actually ordered it, it comes with the drivers on disc I'm sure. Modify your rating mainly because you were incorrect Dez, DA. Truly want to acquire this to replace my Elite Pro.

Superb sound high quality and drivers that work properly in Windows 7 x64. None, except for the price. I bought this card to act mainly as a high-excellent music playback card and secondarily as a gaming card. As an audiophile, sound good quality is clearly very significant; this card delivers.Inventive not only got their drivers right this time about, they also utilised some superb excellent audio elements, which includes Burr-Brown digital-to-analog converters generally located in higher-grade audio components. All points considered, I'm quite pleased with this buy, especially since newegg had it on sale.

I was forced into giving this card a whirl as my old X-Fi XtremeGamer PCI has genuinely terrible Windows 7 64bit help. I had sound crackling and distortion based on the Creative Control Panel settings, so it was seemingly computer software associated. Looks like this card doesn't suffer from all the concerns, and there are a lot of really great evaluations for this card, and I'd have to agree that this is a high quality card. I do like the construct quality of this issue, and the sound good quality was good even with me just working with AUX In. Even so- No 7.1 surround help (Green, Orange, Black)"Considering that the card delivers only a stereo line out on the RCAs and a headphone output, we can conclude that it is not achievable to connect analog surround speakers directly to the sound card; for that, we would will need to use extra equipment like a separate amplifier or decoder and connect the card through the optical interface to it. " I also bought this figuring out that was in all probability the case even though I had thought that they could have worked anyway with my Inventive Inspire P7800 7.1 speakers. Like I stated above, I mainly purchased this so I'd be in a position to really use my speakers ahead of driver difficulties would force me to reboot.

You have to hear this card to seriously know how excellent it is. I came from the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro and the difference going from that to this is night and day. The surround sound positioning is so substantially better and everything is substantially a lot more crisp and pronounced. On my old card I would hear a sound and know what it's supposed to be- with this card I hear the sound and my ears Think it is the actual sound simply because the accuracy is that excellent. There have been a few occasions when watching a movie or playing a game, I will hear a door shut or a thing drop on the floor and I snapped my head about because I believed it was something going on in the space I'm sitting in. It seriously is that very good. Also, listening to my old music I hear so significantly much more I never ever knew was there ahead of, but of course, it takes FLAC encoding to truly bring out the card's accurate possible. Don't knock it simply because you listen to crumby MP3s. I have heard numerous pricey, extravagant house theaters that don't match my Computer setup. I consider the card as having no cons- I would pay 跌 for a sound card that sounds this very good, heck, I may possibly even spend 踰. I have no matters with Creative's drivers- never ever have and this is my third Creative sound card. Of course, download the latest drivers from Creative's web site. I use the Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Sigma headset and the Logitech Z-5500s with my card. I had trouble getting the speakers to perform at very first, and discovered tiny assist in a google search, but I got it. All you have to do is use the optical cord that comes with the card, connect it to the Logitech hub, and set the input to optical. DTS Connect or Dolby Digital encoding isn't supported by means of the Creative computer software in Windows 7, but I switch amongst the DD effects that the speakers assistance via hardware and it sounds SUPERB. Watched a couple of blu-rays and played a handful of games- the surround positioning for five.1 is great. Again, night and day coming from Creative's earlier top rated-end card. For music, I use the stereo x2 impact and it the most amazing sound my ears have ever heard. So, if you are taking into consideration getting a various card because this 1 'only supports stereo', there are strategies of getting five.1 to function. I very, extremely advocate this card for anybody who owns Z-5500s like I do.

Cons:The years I wasted using on-board audio!

Pros:The sound quality from this product is simply amazing!

I hadn't bought a sound card since the year 2000 when i bought a Sound Blaster Live! card. It was an excellent card which lasted me until my next PC build in 2006 (I know, too long, but those were my poor years)And like a lot of people out there, I got brain-washed into thinking that on-board was "good enough". I have upgraded several times since then, and each time I stuck with the on-board option of the motherboard I was upgrading to. My son was celebrating his 12th birthday, and since he takes his gaming very seriously, I decided to buy, on a whim, the Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium HD card. I cannot emphasize enough the difference in the sound quality I am getting out of this card compared to the on-board I was previously using. And just for fun, I installed the card without telling my son and waited for him to load up Modern Warfare 2. When he did, he was only in the main menu of the game and he noticed immediately that the sound was SO MUCH BETTER!!!!Besides gaming, my MP3 files sound amazing. I simply tweaked the sound a little with the graphic equalizer and now listening to music on my PC has become a pleasure.Don't have doubts about buying this card. You WILL NOT regret it!

- Nice 64 MB of onboard memory versus 2 MB in the XtremeGamer I replaced.- Incredibly good sound high quality. Crisp and wealthy. - The value appears a little high, but I suppose that's been the trend with sound cards the last 5 years or so.- Plastic shell about the card doesn't appear conducive to cooling, but then once more this isn't a graphics card we're talking about.- I have no use for the RCA connectors, but that's fine. I only bought this card mainly because I wanted to be certain I was offloading all the audio processing from the major system. I don't feel that I was obtaining that from my prior card. Probably not worth the income though if you currently have one thing far better than the XtremeGamer (unless of course you're an audiophile--I'm just an extreme gamer).

All I can say is wow. I went from the X-Fi Xtremegamer Fatal1ty Pro to this card, and it is night and day. Ahead of on my Fatal1ty pro card I had to use my equalizer to adjust the mid's and bass response on my Z-5500 speakers. But no far more. Though part of me still misses the analog inputs, cannot beat one connection, optical, and the clarity it produces. Though it is a small pricey, it is properly worth the investment. Excellent for music/gaming/movies. In no way tried it with headphones/headset, hate having my ears contained. Only two grips1 is that you have to use their optical cables to use the opt out connection, can\'t use a far better good quality cableTwo, the plastic shield seems pointless, a excellent EMI shield would be significantly more preferred. I tested the Windows 7 x64 sleep concern many occasions with the drivers supplied on the disc, and no sound loss. This could be mainly because I am using the optical input. If your on the fence about this card, do not be, its a worthy investment. X-Fi Titanium HD + Z-5500 = Incredible sound reproduction for the value.

Fantastic sound top quality, in particular when compared to HD audio on my EVGA 790i F.TW Board.I have a SB Xfi Gamer card too and this sounds better.I wish I had a stereo reciever for some significant sound and thx speakers to hear it in all its glory Cost is steep This card was clearly created for serious Audio Creators/editors.I myself am a gamer and appreciate lastly setting my sound settings on the highest settings with out any crashing or concerns now.I wish additional Motherboard producers would location the PCIE x1 slots further from the 2 hottest items on my motherboard; The cpu and the gpu. I was worried that the Soundcard sits practically physically touching the GTX480 installed next to it was going to get hot.I reached back to check if the soundcard got hotter and realized it was Genuinely hot. Not SB's fault and I'm glad they put the sheilding on this card, even if it wasn't for heat sheilding.

Unbelievable sound from the get go. My Studio monitors in no way had something that clear just before and the RCA jack at the back mean I don't require a particular splitter/adapter, minimizing doable noise and static. Sound is extremely crisp and installation went smoothly regardless of CD-only availiability. The cover sheilding was a concern at 1st but even slotted proper subsequent to an HD5870 video card there is no noise whatsoever. The IntelHD connector on best of the card is a good touch too. Trouble with stated IntelHD connector as when I plugged in my case, sound refused to come out the speakers till I plugged/unplugged the case's jackes a couple of time. Creative was responsive in excellent delays but blame my case's individual connectors. (Termaltake Armor 2 utilizes 7 tiny square connectors labeled to the different pins for you to connect individually.. it is made to be compatible with ACྜྷ jacks AND Intel HD) Lack of other front-panel accessibility like the Audigy and Previous X-Fi is also a bit of a let down.. for now. Overall this card is the best successor to my Audigy two ZS pro and allows the microphone to perform in 64-bit more than-2gb of RAM environnement as effectively. If you're seeking to upgrade from on-board solutions or have a set of speaker you want to unleash, THIS is the card for you.

Wonderful sounding, effortless to install. Perfect to record with. None. If you want to do voice/sound recording make certain you get a three.5mm microphone to plug into this card in order to get its bonus microphone feartures. I have a USB studio microphone that I'm going to have to replace.I'm only utilizing this with two.1 speakers at the moment and I hope to upgrade to surround sound sometime soon.

So the last card I owned was a SB Audigy LS from ~2002. When I put my rig together, it caused too much interference so I had leave it out. I figured that onboard had come a long way in the 8/9 years since I've had that sound card. I'm sure it has, but so has a discrete sound card.I thought onboard would be good enough. You know how they say ignorance is bliss right? To start, some of the grips with this particular card is that the outputs only really support 2.1 set ups, and while this is true, I'm sure there are ways you can fudge it to make it do other setups like 5.1/7.1. At this price point, it really, really should. Also it would have been nice if Creative had been able to implement headphone speaker switching. While this card does have a dedicate headphone amp, you can only connect one or the other, meaning you have to disconnect your headphones from the rear if you want to use your speakers. The positives. Where do I begin? I've only listened to music with it so far, and I'm blown away at the disparity between new onboard (asus p8z68-v) vs this new titanium hd. You can't even compare the two. Listening to onboard is like having your ears plugged up with mud, and then caked over with cement. Gaming, is just...you have to try it.Pair this card with your system, and you will notice the immediate difference. I was able to pick out several subtleties in my music that I hadn't noticed before. If you are like myself, and are limited to a 2.1 set up due to space, do yourself a favour and get this sound card. It's simply unbelievable.

When I built my rig last year I decided to give on-board sound a go.No, just no.I may be a bit zealous about sound but the on-board solutions just don't cut it if you're half serious about your gaming and your music. This card is simply awesome, well worth the price. If you want 5.1 surround sound, make sure you can use a digital connection though. Your good old Front/Rear/Center analog cable just won't work with this one.The CMSS 3D works pretty darn well with headphones too.

-OUTSTANDING sound...IF you can get the card configured appropriately. (See cons.) Crisp, clear and audible.-Superb specs that in fact far exceed the capabilities of the speakers/receivers that buyers will be likely to have.-It's clearly got full EAX five. audio support. (Which sounds great in-game.)-The hardware itself is straightforward to install.-Comes with two optical cables. (An extra?)-Looks very good in your case.-Full Dolby Digital DTS Digital surround sound. (Up to 5.1 channels.) I practically bought a Xonar instead. Why? Simply because I was quite afraid that I'd end up incredibly frustrated with the software program.Creative Labs has usually been (and seemingly usually will be) effectively-recognized and notorious for writing some of THE WORST software and drivers for their hardware. So considerably so that independent developers took up the trigger of writing superior drivers FOR them as their engineers didn't seem to be capable of performing so.This software program is far better than what I've been cursed with in the past when it comes to Creative Labs' merchandise... But not by a great deal. I installed the card and took a deep sigh as I slipped the install disc into my drive. I knew what was coming. FRUSTRATION. Be advised that the card does NOT give you more than FL/FR analog channels. One of the RCA ports is truly OPTICAL OUT. But...you have to configure the card to turn on the Dolby Digital before you even hear anything. The software conflicts with itself - activating/deactivating settings seems to make things worse until you are lastly forced to set it all back to DEFAULT...and even deinstall/reinstall the software program to get it all back to default. (Yeah. Had to do it one time.)The configuration screens make definitely no sense. They imply analog ports that don't exist. They give test selections for audio that the card ought to have no concern with...but keeps them disabled claiming that the option is not obtainable. က Khz speakers...but not supported? Seriously? But wait... That was yesterday. NOW it works nowadays? WTH?)NO Creative Labs item is without having infuriating installation/management experiences.Sorry Creative Labs. You genuinely will need to work tougher at this. 3 EG
