Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:- There are some better out there and more comfortable

Pros:+ Inexpensive+ Was $10 with MIR+ Way above average sound quality+ Noise isolating+ 3 size of earplugs
Comment:
I was very pleased with these earphones which I only purchased because of the low price and when a friend came by and tried them he asked me to order him a pair. good thing the MIR allowed the purchase of two, at that price it was a no brainer.

Cons:lots of movement noise

Pros:Nice sound, cheap (if rebate come)
Comment:
Sound quality not as good as LOSS KCS-75 but it has very little sound leak. Like other earplugs, it has lots of movement noise. Nice earbuds if you have no problem with in-ear headphone.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:-Wires feel fragile, cheap, and rubbery-Uncomfortable pressing against ears-Cleans your ears in an unpleasant way-Short wires-Any bumping/moving of wires adds noise to the earphones-Stereo plug is straight, looks easy to break

Pros:-Good base/treble-Earplug style, isolates sound well-Good sound seperation
Comment:
Got them on sale just as a spare pair to use. These earphones have really good bass/treble and allowed me to hear things in mp3's I've never heard before. The wire feels very cheap and fragile, and its short as well. Movement of the cord seems to reflect vibrations down the line to the earphones. I use these on a computer often, so having a straight plug seems to put a lot of strain on the plug. I would have preferred a perpendicular plug.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:- Can't wear these when I driveI can't hear the traffic. - A little uncomfortable but I got used to it. - Can actually see my ear wax on these (gross)- Not good for when I walk. For each step I take, I can hear a noise produced by the motion of the line of the headphone.

Pros:- Fantastic sound - good base and very clear- when I wear it properly, it isolates outside sounds really well. - Good for busing (I enjoy my mp3 more than the engine noise the bus produces)- Light
Comment:
I got these while it was on sale with MIR. I needed a lighter pair of headphone because my Sony headphone are big and lousy. Plus, it's the summer. I don't want two huge headphone covering my ears. after Reading different reviews, I decided to get these and I think I made the right choice ($10 well spent). These headphone is relatively comfortable even after long use. The sound coming out of them are clear. I was satisfy using them for my ipod. After plugging it into my comp with a creative sound card, I can really tell what these headphones are capable of. It produces nice bass, which I enjoy everyday now

Cons:-Doesn't have a slider to keep the earbuds together so they don't get tangled.

Pros:+great quality+cheap if you bought them with the MIR+decent noise canceling
Comment:
I bought these to replace my ipod earbuds and they do a great job. I can use them in noising situations like on the bus and I don't have to turn my music up nearly as far just to hear.

Cons:Thin wire, straight "end plug" instead of "L"

Pros:Isolation, Good Sound
Comment:
First time using this IEM/earbud. I was looking for the Cx 300 until thiese come on sale. So i bought one after reading good reviews on the ep 630. First i was not impressed, and it was not comfortable. i was very fisapointed until i figured out how to place them well in my ears with the correct earbud. And Wow, the bass, highs and medium is present and the confort too was great. i use them for hours. i put them not in the ear canal (Not confortable at all) but just at the "intrance". And for the price it's great. But i'm looking to upgrade for a better IEM; the sound is just good for me. Highly recommended for the price.

Pros:blocks out noise really wellsound decent
Comment:
I bought these on special and with a mail in rebate. I was looking for earphones that would replace my other cheaper earphone. The nice thing is my other earphone earpieces work with this one as well. Overall good product and it's worth spending the $10 or $20 more to buy a product that will last longer then the really cheap earphones.

Cons:Bass is a little weak.

Pros:Nice fit, good treble. Great price on special. Black finish. Rubberized cables.
Comment:
Good fitting ear buds with three sizes available. They are very comfortable and the black rubberized cables work well. The bass, however, is a little week.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:-cord noise

Pros:-excellent bass-relatively cheap-rebranded Sennheiser CX300s-crisp lows + highs
Comment:
Bought these on sale for $30. I know I know, 2 weeks after they were $9, but I have no regrets for this purchase. These are essentially rebranded Senn CX300's, which cost a lot more but they have the same drivers. On a good mp3 player with good sound quality and good equalizers, these make a huge difference over the standard iBuds. Noise isolation is excellent on buses where you can barely hear your music as well. Highly recommended. Only gripe with these are the massive amounts of cord noise that occurs, but while standing or sitting on a bus it doesnt really matter. These EP630's might not be ideal for someone who plans to use these for the gym, you might have to go for Ultimate Ears or Shures.

Cons:Microphonics effect - bursts of noise occur when the wire hits your clothing, skin, etcHurts ears after a while

Pros:Great Sound QualityStays in the ear wellGood sound isolation even when off
Comment:
I've had these earphones for about a month now. They've had great sound quality, but I often prefer to use my cheap logitech behind the neck headphones because they're more comfortable. These earphones are ok for running as they stay in the ear, but pricks of sound occur whenever the cable hits against you. They are good for their purpose - cheap in ear canal earphones.

Cons:sound quality, hurt ur head after a while, can easily fall, external sounds can be heard louder.

Pros:price is very cheap if bought in store.
Comment:
Ok i bought these because of all these fancy reviews ive ben reading, these are cheap IF bought in store, if you bought them online, like me,it just ruins the whole deal.Sound quality is so so, sometimes they easily fall from my ears, I keep hearing external sounds louder then with a regular earbud, for example the Wind, or when im moving alot, I can hear the sound of by body moving each time i come in contact with the wire. And after sometime, I get headaches, yes even if sound is not as high. Like NCIX mentionned, do not base your purchases on ppl reviews! I learned my lesson.

I bought these because they were super-cheap. Boy was I surprised when I plugged them in today. Great sound (better than the Koss DSC75's that I bought at the same time). Not sure how well they'll feel after 8 hours of wearing, but so far so good. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-15-07 10:33 PM

i work in a noisy office with large printers and equipment running constantly and used to wear regular earbuds under large earmuffs these are way more comfortable than that setup and sound better while if you didn't need the noise blocking i prefer sennheisers for comfort, but for my use they are the best solution yet!

Pros:Excellent sound qualityNoise isolatingThree sizes fit allPrice
Comment:
I'm very impressed by these earphones. The sound quality is similar to my old Sennheisers. Combined with the noise isolation, I can hear things I normally couldn't before, like the quiet buzz my MP3 player makes when it changes tracks. They block out sound very well so you can decrease the volume to 1/3 to 1/2 of normal (good for your hearing). Really cuts down the noise of ventilation fans and street traffic. Even without an audio source, they make pretty decent earmuffs. The cord is a bit thin but very soft and jelly-like - I guess that makes it hard for them to tangle up. It also comes with 3 different sizes of noise insolators for those of us with unusually large or small ear canals. I for example, use a medium on my left ear and a small on my right. The only downside to these is anything rubbing against the cords is transmitted down the line to your ears. A soft breeze sounds like a strong gust of wind. Your footsteps and breathing are amplified and it can be quite distracting if you're not used to it. However, you can just pull them out slightly so that they're not completely plugging up your ears and then they just act as normal earphones. Definitely not for joggers though. I bought these on sale to replace my big, clunky noise isolating headphones. These are much smaller, much more comfortable, and they don't require batteries to get roughly equivalent noise cancellation compared to my old ones. Very good deal at this price.

Cons:I havn't tested them for long term wear, silicon inserts pop out of the package when you open it, you HAVE top take them out to converse with someone., no isolation from sound produced by movement of wires.

Pros:Good isolation, Good Confort, No need to pump up the volume, Inexpensive, and good sound quality.
Comment:
A few months ago when I got my creative zen 30GB I loved it, The headphones that came with it were quite nice for earbuds but they ended up breaking (They could hook on things and that happened an it popped off the cord). I started looking at various headphones and found them to be too expenssive for my taste. If I kneew then what I know no I woulda bought em at 40$. If you want nice sound and not pump the volume too loud for your ears then buy these. DOn't complain about the price they are GOOD buy them. Did I mention you should buy them?

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:-The cord is a bit too long for my tastes-The rubber on the cables feels like it might deteriorate-The high frequencies are a little muddy compared to what I'm used to

Pros:-Efficient-Good Bass IMO-Price after mail in rebate is good-Soft, comfortable ear pieces-Lightweight -Comes with 3 sizes of ear pieces (not shown in NCIX pic yet)
Comment:
Overall, these are great for the price if you need sound isolation and on the cheap. The isolation is good, but not as good as my Koss Plugs which are basically earbuds seated in an earplug. There is no comparison between the level of comfort and the ease of putting them in compared to the two. These operate at a comfortable listening volume at 5/25 on my Zen Touch 20GB and put out some good bass response with a little coaxing of the equalizer. The bass doesn't thump but it's not overpowering. However, the high frequencies are muddy and turning up the highs on my EQ doesn't entirely solve the problem. I'm used to a lot of clear high frequencies though because I have 1" tweeters on all 4 speakers in my car and the speakers are pretty nice, so it may just be my ears. If you buy them, prepare to tweak your EQ a lot. It took a little effort to get a balance I liked out of them to compensate for the highs. If you don't have an equalizer on your mp3 player, beware. The rubber is very comfortable on the ears on first insertion but I imagine that it would become uncomfortable with extremely prolonged use, like any earbuds. If you'll be using them for 2 hours+ at a time I'd recommend something else. These are easily the lightest earbuds I've ever owned, especially the cable, which is nice because they don't pull out as easily. For the price after the sale discount AND after the mail in rebate these are easily a 5/5. You won't find better earbuds for the price, sound isolating or not. For the price just after the mail in rebate these are a 4/5. Good solid earbuds but I wouldn't say that they have a clear advantage over competitors at that price range. If you're not too serious about audio quality and want something to block out noise and look/feel nice these are for you. If you're wanting good isolation with great audio quality and/or need to wear them for long uninterrupted periods I'd say look elsewhere. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-26-07 01:35 PM

Cons:Nothing so far.

Pros:Much more comfortable than stiff foam, the rubber is very flexible and soft on your ears. Sound is pretty good.
Comment:
I bought them to replace a pair that had stiffer foam that you could squeeze before letting it expand in your your ears. They were less comfortable and I could not stand them after a while. The new ones with rubber are much more agreeable with better sound.

Pros:LightweightVery compactAbove average soundSeals well to block out exterior noiseWell constructed
Comment:
Bought this for simple use around the office and such with my Creative MP3 player. Works great to drown-out the noise from the boss or anything else happening around me! I found I preferred the sound of my Sennheiser PX100 slightly more than these but for the price you can't go wrong.

Cons:Treble is fairly weak, so miss out on some snare and cymbol sounds.

Pros:Not behind the head design prevents sweat from melting the cord insulation. Super lightweight. Blocks out a lot of ambient noise. LOUD. Strong, unoverpowering, rich bass.
Comment:
All I can say is, for its price, I highly recommend this pair of headphones. I compared this to Sony MDREX51, and only the treble had problems keeping up with the sony. Else very comfortable to wear.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:Cord is awfully thin and not very long, $40 is a good bit of money that I probably should've spent on something more responsible! :)

Pros:Low cost, great for blocking out low ambient noise. While wearing these my computer is SILENT to me! I have a big fan in my computer room's window, very loud, and it's just a low hiss while I'm wearing these.
Comment:
While wearing these, I can hear things in music that I've never heard before, not even with my mid-high level Sennheiser headphones. It's spectacular for blocking some low to medium ambient noise. Be careful nobody sneaks up on you! They're very comfortable. I have pretty sensitive ears, wearing ear protectors at my job makes my ears ache terribly, but after a few minutes I forget I'm even wearing these. If you have unusually large/small ear canals, don't worry because Creative includes *THREE* sets of different-sized noise insulators that fit onto the end of the headphones! My only gripes are that when the cord moves around very much, you can hear it. Like, just turning my head from side to side for instance, the movement in the cord while it rubs against my shirt makes a sound like cotton rubbing on cotton or something. NOT a big issue if you're just using it at your computer definitely.Again, even with my $150 high-quality THX-certified Logitech 2.1 speaker system, even with my $80 Sennheisers, I can't hear the amount of detail that I hear with these, probably because so much of the outside noise is blocked.I'm sure these aren't "studio quality" or anything, but coming from a guy who's spent about $500 on sound equipment from various manufacturers just in the last 3 months, these sound spectacular for their cost. I can hear things like singers taking very subtle breaths between chords or at the beginning of the song, things so quiet that they barely even register in audio editing programs.
