Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:-Makes a distinct friction sound in your ears when the cord is rubbing against clothes

Pros:-Good noise isolation-Very comfortable
Comment:
I bought these to replace the earphones that came with my Creative Zen V. Since I am a student, I take the bus each morning and each afternoon. Because the music playing in the bus is very loud, with my old earphones I needed to crank up the volume on my Zen to around 15 to actually hear something, while at around 5 I could listen to it normally when there was no noise nearby. It all changed when I bought the Creative Labs EP-630's. They come with three different silicon earbuds, but I kept the original medium ones in place, since they fit comfortably in my ears. When you insert them, it's like if you just went underwater; all the nearby sounds are muffled. Now, I'm in heaven. I only need to put the volume on my Zen V at 5 or 6 to hear my music perfectly without hearing the loud music playing in the bus. When there is no other noise around, I can put the volume to 1 or 2 while hearing everything sharply. This is perfect since it also saves on the battery usage for my player in the long term. The only weakness I found on these nice little earphones is the fact that when the cord rubs against clothes it generates a bass-like friction sound that goes up through the cord into your ears, so I would not recommend it to active people that want to listen to their music at the same time as they exercise, e.g. joggers, because it will constantly generate a background noise as the cord rubs against clothes.I am overall very impressed by these earphones, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a relatively cheap but solid replacement for the crappy earphones that come with MP3 players nowadays. Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:Every noise your body makes will be heard due to the ear plug effect (grinding of teeth, breathing, etc). Hitting the cords causes noise also, so not ideal for running.

Pros:Good isolation, iPod volume (reduced from factory standard) went from 70% to 35% using these. Can be comfortable if worn for a long period of time and get more comfortable with wearing (they get softer)
Comment:
Much better sound than the standard iPod earphones, roughly equal to CX and Razor models. Y cord rather than J cord which is great since I hate the J (sports) cords.Good if you commute via subway or bus.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:none that I have experienced

Pros:Awesome sound, blocks outside noise, small/light, fairly inexpensive
Comment:
I bought these headphones the other week, because I have been wanting some new ear-buds with good sound quality. I also wanted something that would block out sounds, so that I could listen in the car, etc. without cranking up the volume. I was planning on buying the razer m100 headphones, but after rebate, these ended up being quite a big cheaper, so I ended up buying these creative ones. I am very happy with the sound quality, and the bass sounds great. They are basically like ear plugs, with a soft rubber part that seals out noise. This is exactly what I was looking for in headphones, because now I can listen to my mp3 player on the same volume in a quiet room as in a car on the highway.I would definitely recommend these to others who are looking for the same things I was looking for in headphones.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:no carrying case

Pros:lightweight, attractive, reasonable sound for price, decent noise isolation even when off
Comment:
As someone else has commented, the in-ear aspect of these earbuds does take a bit of getting used to. However, they are reasonably comfortable for extended wear, certainly more comfortable than my Sennheiser PXC 250's (active noise cancelling, outside-of-ear) headphones. I also found that they do a better job of noise isolation than the PXC 250s, interestingly enough.

Creative Labs EP-630 Stereo Noise Isolating Earphones 6-23000HZ 16 Ohm Black
Cons:- the wires are a bit sticky to other stuff like clothing- on that note, the wires can be heard rubbing against stuff- I got shocked multiple times with this- the bass is a bit synthetic

Pros:- amazingly portable and small profile- would be pretty hard to break, body mostly rubber- good sound quality- nice look- saves battery life, or so I've been told
Comment:
I picked this up at one of NCIX's competitor etailers for $30+ts. The thing seems pretty good for the price. I previously had the stock Creatives that came with my Zen Micro. This thing sounds great, looks great, feels great (after you get used to the sensation of IEMs). Not bad at all, but I would prefer some things changed. The material in the wires make them rub against all clothing in a manner than makes them stick and make friction noise that you can pretty clearly hear. And I think the wires also for some reason carry electrostatic discharges from any clothing to the ears, which do hurt a bit. And, the bass is a bit on the tuner side, where you kind of get distortion on the "boominess" of it. Other than that, great.
