Installed card in a pciex16 slot due to a strange layout on my Asus Rampage II Extreme (which I truly love, and began getting ramdom bsod's in 2D mode from day one. Problem continued for a few days. Did some research and found this is a known issue and quickly remedied by downloading and installing XFTI_W7DRVBETA_US_2_17_0006 from the Creative Labs website. Problem is completely resolved. Sound is terrific, x-ram helps with fps in games.. Really nice card, gonna buy another for a second rig.. Save yourself some trouble if you buy this card, and have XFTI_W7DRVBETA_US_2_17_0006 ready and waiting. Works for all OS's including Wondows 7.

First Time I've ever had a sound card. All I have to say is wow. Makes ordinary speakers into extradorinary speakers. All of my music sounds so much better it's rediculous. You can hear every single note. I hear notes I never heard before. Installation was fast and tons of options very cool. What I love the most is the quality! I can turn it up and not have to worry about distortion thanks to the SVM feature this thing has! AWESOME! Motherboard sound NEVER AGAIN! Gunshots and Explosions have never sounded better! All I have to say is get this and turn it up!

This is definitely a gamers sound card. I have had mine for a few months now and I get nothing but the best quality sound out of my games, movies, and music. It does an excellent job working in unison with high wattage sound systems like the Logitech Z-5500. With this card and some nice speakers, games like Dead Space will have you jumping out of your seat and movies will make you feel like you're in a movie theatre! Highly recommended for gamers and music/movie lovers alike. The downside to this card is it is a tad pricey and in some configurations, like on my motherboard the 790i Ultra, it will sit directly on top of your video card on the first PCI-E 2.0 slot and it requires moving the northbridge fan over. I was worried at first but this card doesn't generate much heat so it hasn't been a problem.

This card sounds incredible! A little on the pricey side for what it is over the base X-Fi Titanium but the additional features are a nice touch. The software it comes bundled with is on the bloated side but if you do a custom installation you can filter out the unnecessary stuff. Control panel is easy to use and options are relatively easy to find. Overall, music and games sound great with excellent clarity and bass tones! Highly recommend this card to anyone that is looking to get a better than average audio experience with their computer, especially those who have high-end speaker systems.
