This card so far it great. Sound quality is good... i recommend getting a higher end set of speakers to really showcase this card. Maybe some klipsh or bose.

I recently had my onboard Realtek sound card fail on a Vista 32 operating system. After trying everything to fix it I had no luck. I orderd the X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI express (70SB104000000) and it installed with no problems and had great sound in 15 minutes. I highly recommend this product to anyone with Vista 32 sound problems.

I wrote a review giving this two stars. After much frustration with editng programs and general quality I purchased another sound card. I wanted to be sure I marked worst on all options. I am terribly disappointed in this card and compared to my new one this card is terrible.

So far, so good...installation was a breeze, and it's packed with a lot of the tools. I have an XFX mobo with onboard Realtek surround, Intel dual core proc, and brand new surround speakers. I struggled with a Turtle Beach Montego PCI (had to RMA), and never got sound. But this took the 15 minutes I expected. Sound is spectacular and crystal clear compared to the onboard chipset.
