I bought this for my Dell T3400. This is substantially more rapidly than the original Kingston 6502 memory that came with the machine. This memory is not error checking, if your information is incredibly significant don't get this and get some error checking / buffered memory. I was a little disappointed when I checked the Critical site and utilized their utility to make confident it was compatible. The marvelous issue about this RAM is that I got it even though it had no cost shipping and was a few bucks less expensive. It passed mem86 perfectly and there have been no concerns thus far. Curse Vista, 1 GB IS NOT Adequate! Go get one other GB or two to actually watch it perform. A quad-core processor frequently aids :D

I had 2 high speed ram cards, dumped two of these in the other 2, why not? the very first 2gb manage games nicely and these pick up overflow when im also burning/ converting video/ downloading etc none so far, 1 didnt snap in crisply but i believe this is the fault of the mobo just check the specs, its all there, do your homework
