This RAM operates finest in older PCs, due to CL of 6. ex: Optiplex 210L. Newer PCs ) use lower CL of five. ex: Optiplex 320 MT. So for the newer PCs, attempt a diverse module. NewEgg sells quite a few superb ones! :) Does not cooperate with some newer Pc models. ex: Optiplex 320 MT, due to its CL of 6. Ordered these for my office PCs. Even though they are half-height modules, they work completely. |

Mine came with Hyundai Electronics IC # HMP112U6EFR8C-S6. This was used to replace Patriot Viper 1066, as I necessary it for an additional machine. I can actually overclock greater with this memory (oddly adequate, but surely due to chipset/motherboard peculiarities) At the moment operating on a low-cost ASUS P5N73-AM, nVidia 610/GF7050 integrated 鳀M sideband) ,P4 520 2.8GHz @ 3.5 Ƒ.296V). The point?These sticks are rated at DDR2-800 six-6-6-18-24 @ 1.8V according to SPD. I was going to use this as a short-term stick, considering that I assumed it had no headroom. It's now running at DDR2-1000 5-5-five-15-21-2T @ 2V. Expense me ฝ to my door. Needless to say, 1 of these cheapos is going in the other channel. Hopefully I get a stick with comparable ICs. None. I'm making use of CPU-Z 1.51 for frequency, timing, and SPD verification. Prime95 and Memtest are utilized for 100% load stability testing. nVidia's nTune was employed for computer software overclocking. |

low cost well i can not get windows xp to see all four gigs my bios sees 4 gigs cpuz sees 4 gigs windows does not dell vostro 420 ram-1 gig stock samsung plus 1 stick of vital 2 gig pc6400 ddr2 800 plus 1 gig vital 1 gig for a total of 4 gigs.... mix and match windows only sees max three os is xp 32 i was told 4 gigs maxsupport me please thejoshinconcord@yahoo.com |

I bought this for my Dell T3400. This is substantially more rapidly than the original Kingston 6502 memory that came with the machine. This memory is not error checking, if your information is incredibly significant don't get this and get some error checking / buffered memory. I was a little disappointed when I checked the Critical site and utilized their utility to make confident it was compatible. Whilst it is compatible my original memory was error checking, and this isn't. |

Works in Dell Optiplex GX520 the packing is hard to open Upgraded to 3 GB employing this item and two GB size....Dell is picky about the order the DIMM slots: it would only work with 1 GB in DIMM 1 and 2 GB in DIMM 2 otherwise it wouldn't even POST. |

The marvelous issue about this RAM is that I got it even though it had no cost shipping and was a few bucks less expensive. It passed mem86 perfectly and there have been no concerns thus far. Curse Vista, 1 GB IS NOT Adequate! Go get one other GB or two to actually watch it perform. A quad-core processor frequently aids :D |

inexpensive, pretty rapidly, popped it appropriate in none atm like i stated, the ram was low cost, it halved my boot time, and i can run additional than 3 apps at a time now. Gaming functionality also went up, but not alot. Popped it right into my dell inspiron 530 and worked, no haslle at all. extremely fantastic ram |

was uncomplicated to install, i had four 256MB sticks in my Intel DG965SS motherboard with windows XP SP3. I bought 1 package and raised my memory to 3GB and it helped a lot for the cash till i can upgrade my pc completely. non as of however. |

I had 2 high speed ram cards, dumped two of these in the other 2, why not? the very first 2gb manage games nicely and these pick up overflow when im also burning/ converting video/ downloading etc none so far, 1 didnt snap in crisply but i believe this is the fault of the mobo just check the specs, its all there, do your homework |

Considering the sipping costs it was less expensive from NewEgg than purchasing straight from Important. Was shipped quicker than advertised. Started right up.
