Crucial 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory
Comment:
Works nicely with my Mini 311, which now performs even superior because of it. It was promptly shipped and delivered. Ummm...None except having to open the plastic package and even that wasn't all that attempting. :) This 1 time, at band camp...

Crucial 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory
Cons: These things go quick at NCIX. If you want to save on shipping, better call in to make sure they have it.

Pros: Recognized brand and lifetime warranty.

Finally got around to upgrading the RAM on my little netbook (Asus EeePC 1015PEM N550 Dual Core 1.5GHz). To start off, Crucial is a very recognized brand (Crucial and Corsair are the ONLY ones I will go to for my RAM, depending on price). NCIX has a great price on it (although it was cheaper before, $20 to $22, and now $23.52 when I bought it); they cost $22 USD straight from Crucial + cross-border shipping. Installation was a breeze as I love how the 1015PEM was designed specifically with RAM-upgrade in mind. Disabled boot-booster and began the upgrade. It was pure plug-and-play, the whole process literally took me 2 minutes and most of that time was spent waiting for BIOS to load. The speed of this specific RAM is slower than the OE one that came with my netbook, but honestly that won't make much of a difference. Now my RAM index rating jumped up to 5.1, and I've upgraded to Win7 PRO (from WIn7 Starter) and running much faster than before. Multi-tasking has become much more responsive. I can't say much about durability and service but Crucial is a well-known brand and I hope I won't need to deal with their service but, if I do...hope they're great as well ;)

Bought this for my Dell Mini 1018 netbook, as this device is notoriously picky about RAM...this stick works perfectly. $20 well spent!

Crucial 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory
Cons: No perceivable weaknesses so far.

Pros: Improved performance over previous RAM configuration.
Comment:
I upgraded my mid-2009 MacBook Pro from 2GB to 4GB using two of these SODIMMs. In applications that are fairly resource hungry, I've seen a noticeable performance gain. I definitely suggest moving up to 4GB if you have the same model of machine.

I installed another Crucial 2GB in my Dell Studio 1745 and it made a world of difference. Too bad the max RAM is 4GB.

I bought two of these for a total of 4GB in my late 2008 aluminum MacBook. I was worried it might not work but I put it in (after struggling finding the correct size screw driver) and it booted fine. No problems yet; it works great. I did notice that snow leopard uses more RAM for applications since I have more now.

Alienware m17 upgraded
Comment:
Worked perfectly with my Alienware m17 laptop in Dual Channel mode as a 4GB upgrade with the existing factory 2GB of ddr. This even overclocked well. I can get a stable 3.5 GHZ from a 3.06 with this ram, that is with memory over 290MHZ! Saves over buying from crucial in packages.

I bought 2 2GB Ram and installed and the PC doesn't read the extra-2GB Ram. It only reads the 2 GB of 4 GB. Yet, runs like 4 GB. I rate this product low because I may or may not have the RAM installed.

Crucial 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory
Cons:Non

Pros:Fast, Cheap, Easy to Install
Comment:
Great memory, installed it in my 13" unibody macbook (first generation before it was called the 13" macbook pro). Works perfectly, had ordered another set of DDR3 from another company (can't remember which one now, but that memory had given me the freezing issue that many people had experienced with this macbook. This memory is still working perfectly, had completed a full 72 hour stress test without any issues!

Works great in my MacBook
Comment:
Upgraded my MacBook to 4GB with 2 of these. I was a little skeptical about using this memory first as there was other memory specifically labeled for Apple (but was twice the price) until I read these reviews. Thanks to everyone else who provided reviews that it worked fine in their Macs.

No problem so far on my unibody MBP 13" (mid 2009). So thats good news for all you mac users. Just unscrew the 10 screws, open the cover, pop the old ram sticks out, Put the new ones in, screw back on the cover and everything just works. I got two of these to give me 4GB total. Very good value, easy to install, Highly recommended. If only the 4GB sticks are more affordable..Okay... i can't really say more about this ram. Just go and buy it.

I bought two sticks for my 13" macbook pro to upgrade from the 2 gb base up to the 4 gb. Plugged them in, and working without an issue. Cost less that paying Apple, less than buying direct from the OEM. Nothing more to ask for.

Cons:* None that I've found so far

Pros:* Good quality* Good price
Comment:
Bought a pre-built laptop but they charged more than the price of these for the upgrade from 1GB to 2GB. Ordered it with 1GB and slapped a couple of these in there. Memory speeds test much better than the originals.
