Dropped into Macbook Pro 13"Functions great. Nothing. Like other Macbook Pro customers, installing these oneself is a discomfort. Receiving the back case off took a bit. The all round place of the ram is just stupid. Took a bit to get every little thing out and the new ram in. Then knocked out the cable for the keyboard light. Got almost everything fixed up. Will in no way open the macbook once again. :/

Zero problems. Doubled the speed of my 13" MacBook Pro. Works as expected. Absolutely nothing I bought this for my 13" MacBook Pro. It had 2GB of RAM. Installation was super straightforward. I popped it in, turned the MBP on and it all worked perfectly.

Good RAM. Fast, and great deal as constantly on NewEgg. Even though this RAM works good whilst my iMac is running, it seems to result in a lot of startup problems when resuming or booting up. The iMac won't boot without me removing and replacing the RAM. Then it boots fine -- until next time... Weird, huh? Crucial under no circumstances claimed this was compatible with iMacs so I can't complain really.

Effectively, it's Critical memory, which is generally rather trustworthy and their client support is outstanding. Compatible with the newer Apple iMacs and Macbook Pro's, etc..and so forth.. Setting up the RAM in my iMac was a pita, but it worked. Prices have also come back down to reality over the past few months, which is excellent to see. No cons thusfar. Oh wait. Critical's packaging for this memory certainly stinks! The RAM is packaged in these sealed ballistic contraptions and it's actually challenging to open. Taking into consideration the plastic is housing some rather sensitive material (the memory), one would believe they could do a greater job in this department. Seriously, just use packaging that will open uncomplicated. I would hate to damage some RAM over junk packaging. I thought about getting rid of an egg for the packing material, but as extended as you're cautious, it should be fine. Still the worst packaged memory I've EVER bought.

More rapidly than 2GB None so far. This was truly easy to install in my unibody macbook. It took 15 minutes major, mostly since I had a really stubborn screw in the case. Aperture and Photoshop run drastically more quickly/better.

Rapid memory. Very good value. I had the exact identical complications as MikeTex below, with my 27" i5 iMac. Memory operates excellent, until you have to shut down and restart the computer; then you have to eliminate the memory to get the pc to restart. I saw MikeTex's assessment just before I purchased, but based on all the other positive testimonials from Mac owners I decided to make the obtain. Not sure if there's just a undesirable batch of sticks at Newegg or if it is a compatibility situation with certain Imac models, but you could want to conserve yourself the 15% restocking fee and not take the chance.

I've recently bought 2 new iMacs, 1 for me and a single for my wife. I ordered this RAM very first for my iMac and it worked flawlessly as I expected it would (see my preceding review). Nevertheless, the second order would not start up in my wife's new iMac. I returned it for refund and ordered the iMac assured RAM at added expense. It's generally a gamble when ordering RAM for Macs that's not specifically assured for that certain model.

Worked as soon as I booted up. Incredibly simple to install into 13" MacBook Pro (Mid 2009 Model). Got Final Cut Pro, Aperture, Firefox, Mail, and iTunes all open with about 1Gig of RAM to spare None so far, will update if there are any. I know the Mushkin is less expensive, but there are much more compatibility issues with it as opposed to the Vital brand. I know saving ฤ sounds nice, but for me it wasn't worth the hassle of asking yourself if the Mushkin would function with my MacBook Pro when I got it. If you want to play it safe, I'd go with this Crucial RAM as an alternative.

Basic fast install, popped out the old ones, put in the new ones was picked up by OSX as 4GB and has been operating solid due to the fact. -Attempting to get the package open Aside from having to eliminate a lot of screws type the Macbook Pro base, every thing went smoothly with my July 09 Macbook Pro 13.3". Proper after installation I ran three passes of MemTestOSX and it passed with flying colours. It's been running solid for a week now, I absolutely recommend this for any other MBP owners.

Speedy Shipping, Simple install in 2010 MacBook, Superior Price tag None I couldn't wait to upgrade my fundamental MacBook, so the three day wait was 3 days also long. Upon receipt I set out a sharp knife for packaging and the right fitting screwdriver. Taking my time the operation was ten minutes tops.
