Has worked excellent given that 1st bootup immediately after I installed RAM in my brand new MacBook Pro 13". none I accidentally disconnected a little wire connection which is next as well the RAM housing (on left as you appear at it). After rebooting, my keyboard backlighting did not perform. Spent time trouble shooting and found out (via post on the web) that a person else had determined that his keyboard lighting problem was associated to accidentally disconnecting this wire for the duration of RAM installation. Re-opened my MacBook Pro and discovered I had indeed knocked it loose. Reattached it and now my keyboard backlighting performs! So be cautious.
