Vital quality assurance; competitive cost. No Heat-Spreaders; limited OC-ability DIY builders, or any person upgrading should be conscious that 32bit Windows (all versions) will only recognize three(.two)gb of the 4gb accessible. This is a limitation of Microsoft Windows and not a difficulty with the memory modules. |

Works fantastic. Just plugged it in and away she goes...Wonderful price -- exact same as DDR2 would have been. The smoke won't come out! No heat spreader but appears to be stable without it.I haven't run any benchmarks or something or verified the MB picked of the right timing. No concerns utilizing with my ASUS P5G43T-M Pro MB. |

Coupled this with a msi g41m mobo and and a low end 775 q6600 cpu, and wow, runs as good as my asus rampage running ddr 2 800 and a q9550 cpu, maybe far better. none essential is always a solid bet, I have never had a stick of vital fail. |

This memory stick snaps into the slot and then you never have to feel about it once again. How am I going to maintain my high tech knowledge rating if I never have to feel about how the memory works? I replaced 4 gigs of OCZ memory with four gigs of this Essential memory. All of my spontaneously rebooting and laptop or computer freezing problems went away. I never had to visit a support forum, I never had to deal with customer support. I'm by no means getting the shiny memory sticks ever again. |

The very Best!

For memory upgrades, for new system builds when the question of what memory to use is at hand there is only one answer, IMO, and the answer is CRUCIAL. This batch solved a problem of mystery crashes and general incompatible messages a friend was having with his new game system. He'd gone with one of the brand name types that come in flashy packaging and have chrome trim with assorted geegaws. It tested OK but the problems continued until he followed my advice and bought Crucial. No more problems. No chrome, no flash packaging either. YOU figure out what's important to you. |

Pros:works with asus p5kc motherboardddr3 Comment:
i originally bought this thinking it was laptop memory(never shop for things when you've had next to no sleep) when i got it i was surprised to see that it was actually desktop memory i was going to return it but i figured i would keep it just in case i ever needed it well that day came when my sisters computer went all wonky and i had to replace her motherboard whit an asus P5KC that i had lying around her old board only had 1gb of ddr2 667mhz of memory and i couldn't use ddr2 667mhz with the asus board i remembered that i had this memory lying around so i put it all together and now her computer screams before with only 1gb it would take her up words of 5 minutes to boot into windows xp now it takes less than a minute the only problem is that the memory can only run at 800mhz due to her processor only having an 800mhz fsb if you plan on overclocking your cpu i would recommend you look at a more higher end pair of memory but for everyday computing this works just fineSpecs:CPU:Intel Pentium D 930 3.0ghz MOBO:Asus P5KCRAM:Crucial 4gb ddr3 1066mhzHDD:Hitachi 500GBGPU:Nvidia Geforce 6200 |

Works Great
Comment:
Bought this after returning bad OCZ RAM that came with a bare bones kit. This doesn't have the flashy chrome that the other did: it simply works. I'm not overclocking; just plugged it in the MB and went with defaults. It's running great on a new Win 7 build using an Intel i5-750 CPU. |

Good Value and Performance
Comment:
I'm happy with the price and performance. Faster than ddr2. I haven't overclocked it yet. No reason to. Its fast enough for anything I can throw at it including maxing out all settings on the latest games. |

Decent memory
Comment:
This is nice memory. totally plug and play. No compatibility issues and it will overclock. My new board had been set from the factory to run with a 15% boost from the factory (putting this memory at about 1333mhz)and it ran like a charm. Made by an old maker with a good reputation as well, for the price it cant be beat! As usual this retailer got it here fast and functional, you have to love em. |

It's Crucial RAM. It works. It works very good. Could be slightly cheaper.
