Added this 2GB kit to an Acer E571-ED630A Desktop that had an existing 1GB consisting of two 512MB modules. Worked completely with the other modules, giving me 3GB for Vista. Modules are a little slow; want the CAS Latency of the modules have been 5 instead of 6.

Nicely identified brand, fantastic packaging. Installed in an old ECS RS400-A mobo with a Celeron 2.8 - fired appropriate up no tinkering essential. Could have gotten ram less costly locally but I'm too busy to mess with affordable no - name ram with a questionable warranty. Have utilised Kingston, Corsair and G-Talent on preceding builds with no difficulties but this was a good obtain. No cool sticker for the case like my G-Skill came with :(No heat spreaders. Would obtain once again.

Product is As Advertised, Very good Value, Stable Memory Heat Spreaders would be "Cool" I bought these for a Dell OptiPlex GX 620 P-four three.02 Ghz machine that I had layin around that only had 1GB ram and I want to make use of this box as a Video file server/ Back Up box to my main program. After adding this memory I now have 4GB total in the box and the darn issue runs good. I just ordered a Sapphire HD 5870 2GB Eyefinity Video card to replace an XFX HD 5850 1GB card and I am going to add to the Dell Video Server for a Nice Back Up Machine. The killer factor is I paid 贻 much less for the Sapphire HD5870 2GB card then I paid for the HD5850 13months ago and the HD5850 is nevertheless an awsome card.

Ram is Ram I ordered 2 diff issues. Ram from newegg, and video card & wireless desktop card from an additional web page TD. Received TD parts four days before I received newegg & employed exact same shipping. Had some problems w/ post office, they lost it or something. So had to contact customer assistance. They sent another ram overnight. The 1st ram, 1 stick worked the other didn't. Got the other ram replaced undesirable one particular with new a single and personal computer fired appropriate up. Nevertheless havent attempted the other stick that came w/ the 2nd ram. Newegg ram 1 didnt perform 1 did. I need to not have got my package shipped to my job. I guess I can blame it on the neighborhood post office, but they seemed to have no troubles with delivering merchandise from TD.

Cheap and solid performer. Boosted technique performance to the point that it really should stay usable for a few years. Installation took a couple tries, but that's since I had the sticks in backwards. These don't make coffee in the morning. When I opened the shipping box, I believed I had ordered the wrong memory; thsese sticks are about twoǙ the depth of old memory sticks, but fit perfectly. I have a memory technique monitor operating that generally stated I had about 50% memory to spare, so I wasn't sure that going from two to four gig would make substantially difference. Nonetheless, the program is noticably faster now in almost all operations. The method, both BIOS and Windows, reports a full four gig of memory (I added a separate video card, so method memory is no longer shared).

This is CL6 ram, which is slightly slower and slightly far more stable and that's precisely what you want for your Nvidia motherboard to stabilize it. In Dual channel, these are still mighty quickly. For Nvidia 4xx chipsets, these allow operating, with stability, in dual channel at 800mhz front side bus speed--its a "have your cake and consume it too" form point. I've tested it and applied it at CL 5, 5, five, 15, and it nonetheless does effectively, so this means that the top quality is present but the manufacturer has chosen to underclock it to boost your stability. This will slightly slow down Intel 945, G31, and newer motherboards unless they have ram settings obtainable in the bios; nevertheless, it will also increase stability drastically--each effects are due to the CL6 speed. Its CL4 at 533, CL5 at 667 and CL6 at 800. These are the readings from the SPD information aboard the memory chip. When used at DDR2-800-CL6 and DDR2-667-CL5, the slight slowdown from these conservative settings are insignificant in comparison to the speedup from dual channel operation. In comparison to DDR2-800-CL5 in single channel, this DDR2-800-CL6 in dual channel is A lot Faster with no expense to stability. ;) The mildly conservative settings can, possibly, outcome in greater behaviors from your computer system. And, when this is the case (typically Nvidia), you're going to go Substantially Quicker due to enhanced information integrity operating the tricky drive a lot more smoothly. Clearly, this item is not for ŗd virtural worlds" Gamer computers and its not for "live time" transcoding multimedia Computer's. But it will do wonders for the Workplace / Net surfer Pc. It will also enhance the finish-user experience when installed in an economy Pc. CL-6 will final longer and is more heat tolerant.

When it was operating it was pretty very good Began to fail right after about 2 months system would hang and from time to time not will have to do further testing.. I've heard good stuff about Vital and I'd hate to have to skip to one more brand. If you get a working memory stick immediately after four months count yourself lucky

Its good to have memory that barely reaches the best of the levers for holding the sticks in! I hope the half-height becomes normal for non-high overall performance memory. None. Effectively, it took me longer to open the package to get the sticks out then to set up them. Not seriously a con I suppose. Just want sharper scissors. I didnt get a newegg.com sticker with this order. Oh effectively...woulda been nice.
