Crucial Dual Channel 4096MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory
Comment:
The memory worked in dual channel mode. None. Am making use of 6 GB Core two systrem with XP64 as the O/S. When I initially installed the memory, the laptop or computer wouldn't boot. I then booted the laptop or computer with out the memory to make sure there wasn't yet another issue. That worked. I installed one card and booted. That worked. I moved the card to the other slot and booted. That worked. I installed the second one and that worked. Part of the problem may possibly be that the laptop or computer boots too quick so I in no way get a opportunity to go into the Bios and adjust settings. I had to rely on it recognizing the additional memory, which it did when installed a single at a time.

Uncomplicated install. Recognized instantaneously. No Hassle. Functions flawlessly. none I employed the Important memory finder for my Gateway GM5478. Operates fantastic! Found two sets that had been compatible with the program. Gateway wanted 赀 for their 4gig upgrade kit. They stated that 3rd party components usually make it slower. I laughed at the rep and said for ๪ more affordable I'll go with the 3rd party memory. That's their way of attempting to get you to buy their overpriced solutions. This memory sped up performance and works fantastic. Thanks Newegg!

Excellent Excellent Ram for the dollars. Fantastic if you only have 2 slots for RAM. The Kits contain two 2GB Sticks. Nothing Fancy just Great Excellent Memory. No Heat Sinks but for the Cost who is complaining. Run a effectively ventilated method, which you really should do anyway, and you will not have any issues with overheating these.

Just got my second set of two sticks of this RAM, for a total of 8gb of this ram in my technique, and it's kickin as$, every thing loads and runs super quick, and it's dead stable operating my CPU at ten% OC. Aside from the lack of a heat spreader, none so far. Fantastic worth!

No issues with the installation, compatibility or anything else. Does precisely what it claims to do. None In a setup with a Pentium Dual E6600, Gigabyte GA-G41-ES2L, Win7 x64 on a WD Caviar Black. Not a single problem. Made a good, speedy workplace machine.

Not much to say right here, it works. Running 6GB ram, ran memtest86 with no errors with this ram. Seated it and worked initially install. A heatspreader would have been nice.. but I have a extremely properly ventilated case, isn't that massive of a deal.

Fantastic ram, super stable, pretty inexpensive. Rock solid at DDR2 800 @ two.2v 4-3-3-5 2t. If you're an overclocker they scale nicely with voltage, not super high, but properly enough for 2gb sticks. lifetime warranty from vital... mmm... yummy. no heatspreaders, but i dont think they're too vital if you have good airflow more than the chips.not the highest overclocks for benchmarking, but wonderful for 24ǝ use systemsi like receiving candy with my ram, where's the candy? i got these elsewhere, but i wanted to share my experiences on right here. My ga-g33m-ds2r mobo is limiting my OC at the moment ƒ.2v only). do a search at xtremesystems for d9ftb and you'll see oc's of ddr2 900+. keep in mind overclocks are YMMV and potentially dangerous to your technique.

Comment:
The RAM was exactly what I was expecting. It took my Win XP Pro technique with 512 MB single channel to 4 GB dual channel. (Of course the OS only reports 3.12 GB, but I am ok with that.) As expected, boot time went considerably down, applications switch quicker, and I can have as substantially junk open at any given time as I please. I also do sound editing periodically, and the wave files load in about half the time, and course of action in a fraction of what they employed to. (These are really big files ~ 1 GB) The 32-bit OS is the largest issue as it absolutely has the possible to be a limiting factor. I really feel like I am under-utilizing my new resources :) Fantastic product, superb value. When You Know, You Newegg!

just got it, haven't completed something fancy with it but, but it seems to be stable, and pretty rapidly. the fit seemed a bit wonky, because the modules are so thin and seemed to bow slightly at the middle when putting downward pressure on the ends, producing it kinda tough to get in, some heat spreaders on these would be excellent, it would not only aid dissipate the heat superior but make the modules more rigid and easier to install, but they appear to work as they are with no difficulties. Plugged it in to my Dell Optiplex 745 which currently had 2GB of RAM. The bios quickly saw all 6GB. Windows XP 32 bit was only in a position to see 3GB. Even turning PAE on XP only saw 3GB. I upgraded to Vista Business 64 bit and all 6GB are usable. Had to pay for shipping. There are some quirks with running 64 bit Windows, but it is not as bad as I expected. If you are employing Vista count on at least 1GB for overhead, but at the price of RAM these days I am not too concerned.

Lastly decided to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 4GB. Cost was too great to pass up; glad I waited. Running XP Pro/SP 2 32-bit and noticed an immediate boost in speed and response. Memory installed and recognized flawlessly; I actually have three.62GB readily available which is much more than I thought I would get due to 32-bit limitation. Certainly nada Buddies @ work couldn't think I only ran 1GB. Talked me into (that was Actual difficult, lol) upgrade and no regrets. BTW, Newegg had my memory to me in One day from order placement. Received on a holiday week. no less. Can not ask for far better service; prior orders from Newgg also arrived significantly quicker than expected. Newegg consistently delivers the goods.
