Fast/Easy to install in my Gateway Notebook. Just needed removing one screw and popping out the old 512MB memory module and putting the Critical 1GB SO-DIMM in it's place. Took about a minute. Upgraded my laptop from 1GB to 1.5GB which is wonderful for larger apps. SO-DIMM module started providing BugChecks Bluescreens, Boot Failures and other memory corruption immediately after about 2 months. I swapped in my older 512MB SO-DIMM and everything is steady again. Clearly, these components dont final very long. Beginning the RMA process on Essential.com now -- their website is semi-annoying to get an RMA out of. I think this is the only Computer memory I can keep in mind in 35 years that has truly gone "bad". And that incorporates ridiculously huge type factor 286 Memory cards with hundreds of parts on them.
