I was looking for a cheap 5 port gigabit switch for home use when I found this one and thought it looked awfully familiar. Looked closer and sure enough, it's the same one I've got sitting on my desk at work that I've been using for at least 2, maybe 3 years now. It has never been shut off or rebooted (unless my UPS died) and I've never had a single problem with it. I'll be making a trip to the store tomorrow to buy another one to use at home.

I bought 4 of these for my home network to replace my old 100 mbitps units. I just plugged them in and they worked great. No issues. Transfering files over my network between PC's goes about 7x faster than it did with the older 100mbps hubs. I would recommend to anyone to buy this item.

1 network port from wireless router to extra 4 network port it work great. no problem what so ever since i bought it and speed went fine won't slow down at all. Best product!

For the price this gigabit switch is a great value. The status lights are dim so they aren't annoying! I purchased this to speed up my DNS 323 NAS and with jumbo frames enabled my transfer speeds almost doubled.

Nothing special or any kind of extra features, it just simply works. I've had it plugged in for two months straight and haven't had to reset it once. You just can't beat this switch for the money.

Great little switch. I get gigabit performance out of my CAT-5 wiring running several hundred feet. I am using this switch in the middle of a three level fan out cascade, and have seen no data losses or measurable reduction in performance.

I have no way to effectively or accurately test the throughput on these, but the difference between my old 100Mbps and this one is noticeable. Plug and play. Works as advertised, I don't know if those are ''features'', so I only gave 4 stars across the board. I have 3 of these switches in my home network, one has been installed and running fine for well over a year. Overall, it's an affordable gigabit switch for a small home network.

Got this a couple of months ago, and all it has done is work! It is in an the upstairs room in my home, so it's frequently not air conditioned, but this switch is on 24/7. Have had no problems at all. It is small, quiet, and looks good too!

Easily installed & working fine. Auto negotiation working properly- showing 1 gig speeds on my cat5e network. Bought this switch to replace a ver 1 of the same model that died without warning (made it 2 years, hopefully this ver 2 will last a bit longer).

Juste sortir de la boite, branchement sans fermer le router, aucun problme, plusieurs compagnies devraient prendre exemple sur ce "plug & play" Merci, D-Link pour le produit, merci pour le prix.

Plugged the switch in, connected my boxes, and they all communicated without trouble.

Throw them on the network (2 pc) and go. Seems to autonegotiate speed with no problems.
