over all it's a very good wireless adapter. with usb connection you can basically connect wireless your old pc or/and laptop to internet.I like the fact that with the stand, I can move the adapter around and try in different position for a better signal (speed?).it's little confusing with the setup. but once the setup is correct, the adapter give you the max speed of 300mbps. and it make me feel like i am connected with a cat5 wire.

In the age of 802.11n, I got a good deal on this device and expected D-Link to have the same forward-looking work ethic as the technologies that it brings to the market. Wrong! This adapter works wonderfully...until you try installing it on a 64-bit platform. See, the company won't take a little extra time and write a 64-bit driver set for this adapter. And, Vista isn't hearing what the 32-bit driver set is trying to lay down. So, I spoke with the reps... the plain, unapologetic truth is that they don't care that I'm cheap. They want me to pay more, for a more ''Xtreme'' adapter. Now, I'm being forced to go to the ''extreme''. That's so not the ''extreme'' that I grew up with. So, if you're installing this adapter on a 32-bit rig, you'll be sitting pretty. It's fast. That's cool. Just remember to consult the D-Link website before pressing the buy button.
