Comment:
Purchased this board to replace a fried ESCMCP19-am in a gateway personal computer, it got fried when the power unit went. Initial one I ever altered. The set up was easy and when I hit the powwer it fired ideal a tiny fiddling in the bios and I was making use of my computer. So far performs really effectively. The instructions were incredibly uncomplicated adhere to, even for a idiot like me. I appear to ECS again if I decide to create my personal technique might do it this winter......... Some of the drivers were not on the cd but was able to update even though the device manager. This was my first mobo replacement, I was determined to fix this pc, I have newer ones, but I wanted to figure this one particular out myself and get going just to prove I could do it. This board fit proper in even the screws lined up.

Affordability and pretty painless installation, generating it an affordable upgrade to help the AM3 Dual Core CPU. It can only support up to DDR2몸 memory and only has two memory slots, so it can realistically assistance only 4GB of RAM. Also soon after six months it seems to have stopped working. I have completed at least ten full system builds, so I do have a fundamental understanding of the technology, and what to anticipate. Personally, I advocate saving your dollars, as you will have to upgrade again soon after a quantity of months. You'll be happier if you wait and purchase a increased excellent upgrade. Manufacturer Response:We are sorry to hear that your process has "stopped working". affordable, AM3 compatible, DDR2 memory so i didnt have to buy new DDR3, doesn't lock up in bios like one more assessment had mentioned, the drivers CD worked fine for me as effectively, all the simple stuff u will need to construct a pc. by putting this in the cons section im NOT saying i wouldnt get this board again... only has two memory slots and they are DDR2, ten럼 /cry, PCI-e x16 is also close to PCI-e x1... IF u are utilizing a decent video card it almost certainly sticks out more than two slots and if u have a PCI-e x1 sound card or anything else, you will only be capable to use 1 or the other. no HDMI but has HDCP help, only has three sound jacks rather of the normal five-6 but a decent sound card can fix that - go for a pci a single :) i bought this MB to go with a comprehensive system that i purchased by newegg. bought the combo with the 240 regor and a Low-cost video card. i have had no concerns with anything at all so all products get five eggs from me... newegg shipping was extremely quick as properly!

It never ever seriously worked... Installing a separate video card (that was fine in yet another method) caused substantial instabilities. I saw a handful of places mention that it could only take care of CPUs up to 95w. I only had a 65w CPU in there, and the video card was a quite low power ASUS EN9400GT. I consider it just couldn't deal with powering it. It also had a bunch of trouble with some RAM that worked fine in yet another program. My impression is that it couldn't take care of sending energy to all the various devices Manufacturer Response:If you nevertheless need assistance with this challenge please get in touch with us.We can be reached at newegg.assistance@ecsusa.com or 510-771-0284. Worked proper out of the box, no surprises. Excellent inexpensive mobo for the cost conscious. Be a fantastic board for a complete novice to create his/her initially system. ECS has been around a lengthy time, that should imply anything excellent. Manuals written by technical writers with an incomplete grasp of the English language. Would be entirely confusing to a noob.

Supports a 95W processorHas 4 SATA connectors (not 2 like some mini boards)Appears to operate fine (with the caveats beneath). Would not boot with the brand new PNY 2GB DDR2 800MHz sticks I had purchased for this create. Swapped out the OCZ 2GB DDR2 800MHz sticks from my four-core Phenom construct, and it worked fine. Also, the BIOS is restricted - won't let you do things like designate far more than 1 HD in boot order, or pick ignore errors when booting (I have one particular HD that the BIOS doesn't like, and I have to F1 each and every time it reboots even though the drive functions fine in Windows once booted) I have an additional ECS board that I got as a combo deal with my four-core Phenom processor. I was going to resell it, but rather swapped it into my HT-Pc, and was impressed at how straightforward to configure it was, and how it's seemed to be quite robust. So when my wife wanted her desktop process upgraded and the Zotac board I got right here on NewEgg didn't help the 95W three-core processor they claimed it did, I decided to pay the additional shipping and get another ECS board. (instead of a slightly additional high priced ASUS board with cheaper shipping)Despite the BIOS and RAM difficulties, I'm satisfied.

Excellent price in combo with a Sempron 140 (combo discount, cost-free shipping and a rebate.) Easy install worked on 1st try. Functions with present AMD processors. Not as quite a few Bios features as some motherboards, no core-unlocker for instance. Functions with DDR2 400 memory that I was previously unable to use.

Every little thing except the PCI-E slot worked just fine, it's a low cost motherboard. Wonderful price for AM3 compatibility. I inserted my graphics card and was given a code 12 error. It appears there was a conflict from the onboard graphics card. Most MoBo BIOS's have an choice to disable the onboard I/O device but this 1 did not, rendering my Radeon 4670 useless. I just shipped it back to Newegg for a refund. Manufacturer Response:Please be aware that the error code 12 issue could be caused by difficulties inside the OS.If you or any a single demands assistance with any difficulties pertaining to the motherboard, you can generally contact us.We can be reached at newegg.assistance@ecsusa.com or 510-771-0284. It is fantastic for a LAN party Computer and a smaller server as well. Supports AMD processors from single to quad core. PCI-E 2. for much better graphics. The on board graphics is terrible. I adding another card in if games will be played with this mobo. The board does feel rather flimsy. Fairly good board for the value you pay. I advocate it if you need to have a modest LAN Pc, server, or SmoothWall.

No-frills setup, bang-for-the-buck capabilities, dirt-inexpensive price None for the price Purchased this for a friend to replace his eMachines board that died and the swap-out was simple, no troubles obtaining started out an booting up. Can't give method specs since I swapped out existing elements and popped them into this board. By no means built with ECS prior to but I would look at it for building on a price range, if applicable. Top quality, service, manuals, and computer software not up to Asus standards but the price can't be beat so it depends on your priorities :)

Purchased this to replace an e-Machine ECS board that had failed due to undesirable capacitors. This board was incredibly related, but with the updated caps and a handful of tiny layout changes. Worked ideal as a drop-in replacement for the e-Machine, didn't have to reload the OS (Vista), just had to update drivers from the included CD. The only purpose I purchased this was to maintain the repair of this method straightforward. And it worked perfectly. No printer port. Did not require it for my scenario, but other people might want to look at this. No other troubles nevertheless. This board is an updated version of a base board model for AMD based systems built by Gateway, e-Machine, even some HP/Compaq towers. If you run across one of these sorts that had bad caps, and the board is nForce 61xx based, it will serve well as a direct replacement. It can also be employed for a easy Pc construct as properly, if you are on a budget and will need a fantastic board.

Affordable, easy, "drop-in" replacement for HP Pavilion M8000 series. Manufactured by exact same organization that HP utilizes for OEM and uses the same Nforce 430 chipset with 6150 onboard graphics, and considerably much less expensive than buying from HP. Not precisely the similar as the HP motherboard. Has fewer RAM slots, and no onboard FireWire. Color coding for HP circumstances does not match color coding on this board, but you can just follow exactly where the connectors went on the old board. System will nonetheless want to install updates, but it is seemless in Vista (not tested with 7, but would expect equivalent results). Is not the similar dimensions as old board, so it does not fill the motherboard tray (need to support motherboard although generating electrical connections so not to crack board although pushing connectors in). HP Pavilion M8000 was not completing boot. Had errors like "fan is not spinning" and at times would just be a black screen. Located that original HP motherboard had negative capacitors. I have the V2. which had some BIOS problems, does not support all the processors this V3. does, but otherwise has been a decent board. The V2. specs indicate it was not a fantastic performing board general, but excellent sufficient for the price, and much greater than the HP motherboards price. V3. has a lot greater specs. Quite Happy.

Built a couple of of these for budget minded buyers integrated Nivida graphics are adequate if you use 2gb of ram functions well with XP or Vista haven't utilised it with Windows 7 yet. Practical Micro ATX board and if your attempting to recycle some older ram its excellent AM2/AM2+ cpu supported. Add a discrete Video Card to enhance efficiency. ECS usually characteristics this board with a rebate and Newegg generally has cost-free shipping making it a quite reasonably priced deal. No onboard HDMI You can spend additional but if you don't play games you can have a cood machine for on the net Video playback and some older games by older I mean pre 2006 so that consists of alot of games actually Plays Dawn of War on default settings
