The mobo is well built, and designed. 24 and cpu power are placed well. Colour is nice, and the heatsinks that are on the board look pretty cool and work well as well.I'm running this with a 920 and 6gb of 2000mhz g.skill ripjaws.

EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:cmos error

Pros:look, performance?

I bought this about 7 weeks ago along with rest of parts for new pc.I still don't have my video card due to back order.Yesterday I couldn't wait no more and decided to borrow my bro's video card 260 to test out.The motherboard didn't recognize my cd rom either initially.I had to move around the sata port from 5 to 1.My sata port 5 was not working at all.Anyway I installed windows 7.Updated bios etc.. flashed. From that point on computer wouldn't post at all..Computer would either go reboot loopor if not stay idle at post code 10 and no display.Tried bare bone test removing one memory at a time etc.nothing. EVGA tech said it's probably bad bios flash.Oh well.. 1 months instore rma is gone so i have topay s/h to cali evga manufacturer.

Cons:No north/south orientation of heat sinks. jmicron sucks.

Pros:Stable, well built. Lifetime warranty and the best support in the business. Good layout. Nice accessories.

I love this board. Great bios, solid and stable, good OCer. The new color scheme is very nice, more in line with the rest of the series. All black/gray, no more green, blue or white anywhere.

RE-review
Comment:
This is for Stone first off if its taking 20 secs to post you have something wrong in the bios and second i have the same board with an I7 and mine never gets any higher than 55c even with a 4.0 ghz OverclockC. I would highly recommend checking all your bios settings thoroughly before giving a great board a lousy review. Oh about the review next to the classified this is an outstandingly tough well constructed and high performance board in this price range and even a little above.

Great bang for bucks mobo
Comment:
I got the Asus P6T Deluxe first and couldnt get it to work. Was told it was memory incompatability, so I got different memory and it still didnt work. So i returned and got EVGA X58 SLI and it took me 90 minutes to put it all together and install vista 64bit. OC software not user friendly like Asus but it works.

Wow.... What a Deal!
Comment:
It was either this or the Asus P6T Deluxe V2, and this one won. For the same price as the Asus, you get the same quality PLUS beneficial bells and whistles. I chose this board predominently for the 3x SLI, and the mobo LCD which displays cpu temp and diagnostic codes. The overclock profiles are handy, as well as the rest of the BIOS software. My only warning is that you must be selective in CPU coolers, as space is definitely limited(even more with all 6 RAM slots filled). Overall, it's an awesome purchase and would be happy to buy it again. Did I mention that it has a lifetime warantee? Big plus!

Absolutely amazing board! Everything was installed and it booted up first time, No problems, No errors, Nothing. Press Power and profit!Layout is excellent : Have 2 Gtx275s in SLI and still have room left over for anything else I might needOverclocks: Like a CHAMP - Got my i7 920 stable at 4.2ghz on the first day of owning it.Other boards have given me plenty of problems but nothing compares to how easy this board was to work with.. and it looks good too! couldn't ask for any more

Worth it.
Comment:
Very nice board and in my opinion worth the money. This is the first board in my many computer builds that I had absolutely no problems with. It also comes with a lifetime warranty so you can't go wrong just make sure you register with EVGA within 30 days of purchase. Running the I7 975 CPU, Ultra ChillTec cooler, 1000 watt corsair PSU, 2 x 9800 GTX+ Video cards in SLI, and 6GB Corsair 1333 Memory.

Pretty Good MoBo
Comment:
I have this motherboard in a Cooler Master HAF with a Cooler Master Hyper CPU cooler, but it does not seem to control the fans as well as I would like, so definitely buy a fan controller for added cooling. The board is configured to not use the top 5.25" bay on your case instead of the bottom one. The power connections are in odd places if you have a bottom mounted PSU. Otherwise, this mobo updates easily, has many good BIOS features, and runs well. Be warned, the X58 chipset takes about 10 seconds to launch BIOS after powered on, so startup times will be slower.

Pros:-Lifetime warranty-Easy Overclocking-Power/reset button onboard-Nice little onboard Debug LED (displays CPU temp + more)-Tri SLI
Comment:
I love this board! Slapped a 920 in it and OCed to 3,67Ghz easily. The Thermalright Ultra-120 1366 will fit on it although when mounted verticaly it goes a little bit beyond the edge of the board and can be a tight fit for some cases. Overall, very good board. Buy it!

Works . Takes 20 secs or so to post . Allot of bios updates . Not as fast as expected . Vreg runs really hot and probably contribute to more cpu heat . Overall an OK board .

Great Board..this time
Comment:
This was my 4th...yes 4th board. Bought the other 3 from a different site. For this last one i went with tiger, because I have NEVER had to make any return on anything I have bought here. Board is flawless. Running at 4.2 with only minor tweaks to Vcore and Vtt. Easiest OC'ing I have ever done. Would def. rec. this board to any who are wanting the best out of a board they can get, without breaking the bank. I dont consider the price a con, its about what you should expect to pay for a premium board.

Great Board
Comment:
Will have to admit that doing a new build wasn't sure if I wanted to use EVGA again. Will have to admit that with this board they didn't let me down. It's a great board with lots of Oc'ing. Not to mention more USB and Sata ports than you can dream of having. You want the ultimate build start with this Mobo you won't regret it.

EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:none

Pros:clear cmos button on back is brilliant. Board is awesome for allowing an easy and high OC of i7. Really like Eleet software that is exclusive with EVGA x58 mobos.
Comment:
I only buy EVGA because of my past experiences with them has been exceptional and because of the lifetime warranty on this board. The eleet software that only comes with evga x58 boards is amazing for fine tuning your OC. However, the thing I like best about this board is the clear cmos button which can be easily accessed on the outside rear of the case is a brilliant move and makes OC easier. The Dummy OC option is amazing too since you can OC the 920 i7 safely from 2.66 to 3.2! Not bad for those who are not interested in learning how to overclock.
