Bought this mobo along with an v10 coolermaster cooler.. have my i7 920 oc'd to 4.5 ghz at about 25-30 idle, and 45-60 under load.. the temp readout is nice.. i like the usb placements on bottom of board for cable management purposes... my only complaint is the hd audio input is right in the way of pci slot...

Main Board At Its Best
Comment:
Best main board I ever had. First one from this manufacturer and I am not disappointed at all. I haven't tried over clocking yet but with the speed I'm getting I don't see why I would ever need too. Make sure you get a case with a clear side theirs an LED readout on the board that displays every post from the bios and halts on an error so you can quickly diagnose it .. once your OS boots it displays CPU temp although it's in centigrade so I will have to adapt :). This board has more UBS ports than you'll ever need and has power button, reset button and HD activity light so you can test the board without having to connect it to case. Great board, great value.

Pretty Good Mobo
Comment:
I bought one of these for my first computer build, and I've gotta say that I'm happy I chose this one. A lot of people are saying they've gotten DOA's, but mine worked fine (Thank Goodness). I popped my i7 920, 12 GB of Corsair XMS3 Tri Channel ram and GTX 295 in there, and the board posted and all was well. I did have to manually set my ram speed in the bios, but thats not a big deal, as I expected to have to do that anyway

This mobo impressed me for the price. I have the i7-970 windows-7 64-bit. I oc it to 4ghz with my 6-gigs of ram at 1.6V running at 2553.6 mhz. i have the coolermaster haf and you can barely hear it. the board supports up to 6 fans and they are auto varitabe due to heat. the oc software works great, if you go to far just shut down and restart it.

NICE BOARD EASY INSTALL
Comment:
Just purchased this board and love it! The black board looks awesome and is of very good quality. I can see a huge difference in the quality over my last board. I recommend this to anyone wanting a slot 1366 board with X58 chipset. For the price you can not beat it compared to the other boards out there.

So far so good
Comment:
This board came from the manufacturer with the cpu power heatsink tightened down so much that it warped the motherboard. The board will get halfway through post then freeze because it can't read the keyboard. Time to RMA it.

EVGA & i7 For the Win!
Comment:
Okay, so I've had this board for over a month now with an i7 920, 12 gb ddr3 RAM, 2tb HDD, and (2)gtx 275 in SLI, with a 750w PSU. I'm ridiculously happy with this board and everything else for that matter. I should warn you that this has no plug-ins for IDE cables, though, so make sure everything you get plugs in with SATA instead. Otherwise - this is a FANTASTIC board. Get one from TD now!

Excellent MoBo
Comment:
Pretty solid design, only problem I saw was that when I installed my Wireless card in to the PCI slot it covers the front audio port, so I have a front audio jack but i just cant use it, oh well, the back port works so not too bad

Excellent MoBo
Comment:
I did not buy this for heavy overclocking or heavy gaming, though it certainly gives me plenty of headroom to grow. It looks great and seems very heavy duty. I like the warranty length that EVGA includes. About the only thing I might wish for is one more USB header on the board. However, there are alot of ports on the back.

Seems easy enough to learn
Comment:
I have experience in BIOS of another MB maker and this one is OK to figure out, as to adjust the overclock a little. One has to read a lot about that before doing it. So I just bumped up the BUS speed to 150 and with a stock cooler ,it keeps close to my default temp, and went to 3.1 GHz.

Good motherboard
Comment:
Good motherboard to work with. Plenty of options in the BIOS, black always looks good and it's well laid out. Plenty of useful ports in the back and lots of future expansion. Definitely worth the money if you're going to be keeping the system for a long time. LCD on motherboard for CPU temp and error codes is a nice touch.

Cant go wrong!
Comment:
First time builder, I bought this as part of a kit and have to say I am rather impressed. POSTed right away, detected everything, and has been running perfectly for the couple of weeks I have had it sofar. A decent BIOS layout makes changing settings a snap, and it boots up very quickly. Very expandable too, lot of room for upgrading. Do note, there are no IDE ports on this board, only SATA so keep that in mind when purchasing drives or whatever for it. Other than that, I feel it was an overall great value for the price and would buy it again here.

Fantastic MOBO, Great for OC, gaming machine!!
Comment:
Value is great. Can't go wrong with Mobo like this for 249 after rebate. OCing is easiest ever with this thing. Looks and feels firm and solid. Really I looked for any cheap outs but can't find anything. I'm pretty anal about stuff and this one is made beautifully. One con is I found the fan connectors to be somewhat inconvenient, especially the one at the front of your case, if your cable is short you will have to reroute or use psu to power up. Other than that this one is a CHAMP. Love it!!

Sleek Black Monster
Comment:
This Sleek black monster is More then awesome for light version of x58 motherboard. The looks of being all in black makes my case look awesome. I keep wanting to say for the price but the features on this mother board Rival and Surpass some of the other x58 boards on the market. Whats missing from this board from the others are things that are just taking up space on the more expensive ones to begin with. For one example, no IDE port for banded Roms and floppy disk drives. come on people why build a great computer and then slap some slow old IDE drives in. spending more on the chip leaves you less for the board, then don't settle for Less of a board this is a great way to go.

Fantastic board for i7 on a budget
Comment:
Just built a rig with this board and it's awesome. My system is ultra fast with an i7 920 at stock clock. The overclocking potential is great, and the EVGA support forums are FULL of good instructions for doing so. The layout of the board is great for cable management with the SATA ports on the side and no IDE or floppy connections for those fat ribbon cables to get in the way. Cooler Master v8 CPU cooler installs extremely easily onto this mobo as well. One thing to watch out for when installing is to be sure you connect the 8-pin power connector near the CPU socket or else you'll see the dreaded

I like it
Comment:
I bought this board for my first ever build, and am glad I did. It has a ton of features that my old machine didn't have. It's easy to install, well marked, and has satisfactory documentation in my opinion. I got it because I'd heard that EVGA has great customer service, but I haven't had to talk to them once. I installed an I7 920 processor and a GeForce GTX 260 video card, 3 fans, hooked up case lights and buttons, usb, firewire and eSATAs, and everything worked like a champ. The system posted the first try, and now it boots like a scalded ape. I feel like the board was a bit pricey, but in the end was worth it because of the features and quality of the product. I'd use this board again if in an instant.

Coultnt really use it
Comment:
Well i bought this motherboard, 2 weeks ago,the price sure changed since then..it cost me a total of 355$..., a week after, i received it, and when i opened the box i saw something weird, the processor socket seemed damaged, there were missing pins (little holes) and 1 pin was lifted..first time i saw this in a motherboard..so i had to ship it back..but haven't received any news yet :S.I was really hoping to try this board since it seemed like a nice purchase. If i ignore what happened with mine, i would say it looked quite good, the power reset buttons on the board are really useful for testing your computer, the heat sinks are stylish and comes with all the stuff needed, one other thing i was confused about was that there is only one x16 port.
