So far, so good.....
Comment:
.....for the most part. Works great like everyone else said except I can't seem to get the eSATA working, ever after drivers. After the inital BIOS setup I can't get back into the BIOS anymore. By the time the board sends a signal to the monitor, it has already completed the POST and it's already too late to hit del to enter setup. Also, I couldn't find anywhere in the manual how to define a RAID array. I found the answer somewhere on the internet....hit cntrl-i during bootup to define RAID. And even with the computer off, the power LED on the front of the case stays lit. Seems like a voltage leak from the 5v standby power over to the 5v bus. Not a big deal. Just disconnected the LED from the motherboard. But this is 2 custom builds in a row where I had this issue. It's almost like the power LED is no longer meant to tell you when the computer is on, but that the power supply switch is in the on position. Is this the standard now?

Awesome board, bad sound
Comment:
Awesome, just awesome. The sound drivers could be better, might think about a sound card, but the board performs wonderfully. Ability to overclock while not in the bios is nice too, if you need to see some immediate performance.

BEST MOBO FOR i7!!!
Comment:
Simply the best! A 5 is too low of a scale, this board deserves a 10! Zero problems. Updated bios and drivers provide great computing experience! And, OC'ing is a breeze. Extremely simplified, even gives warnings if your about to mess something up! GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! The best mobo for i7 hands down!

Solid board
Comment:
On time. Good price. Using with ci7 920 - 12GB Corsair Dominator 1600 and XFX Radeon 4890. The i7 o/c's great to 4.2 on air cooling. Video o/c's great also. I mounted a Corsair 3 fan memory cooler across the giant heat sink with the 'e' to cool it. It mounted perfectly, but covers one PCIE slot - not a prob for me now, but may be in future. Highly recommend this board for doing anything with the i7's. I gave it a 3 for value, it was pricey, but I have no other reference point so who knows.

Great Motherboard, BUT....
Comment:
excellent x58 mobo. Top notch build quality, performance, features, and aesthetics. Clock for clock it's about the same as other x58s, but it shines when overclocked. 200bclk (4.0ghz w/o turbo mode) off of my i7 920 D0 was too easy. Due to the game of life, I haven't had time to push it beyond that but i've seen other users pushed well into the 210s and 220s with this board. Realize though that this board is hotter than hades and the stock NB/Mosfet cooler working passively is totally inadequate when overclocking. You will need (at least)a 40mm fan for the NB and another fan rigged up blowing across the Mosfet cooler. I simply put mine on water. (Note the stock WC version of this board still uses the passive air cooler on the mosfet, which is inadequate) Overall, a great Mobo for the enthusiast or gamer, just be aware of its faults.

EVGA 141-BL-E760-A1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:As good as it is there are a couple of pretty big cons. First, it takes too long to post. Second, the stock passive coolers are inadequate in the sense that you will be overclocking this board, but the board runs too hot when overclocked for comfortable 24/7 operation. Don't buy this board without a 40mm fan for the NB, and you'll have to go with a custom solution for the VRM.(it's steamy hot too). I put both on water to get them under control...it runs good but add an extra 120 to the cost of the board. Should've came with a 40mm fan. (note the stock WC versions heatsink only covers NB/SB, VRMs are still on a passive cooler and they get hot when you push them).

Pros: Looks, build quality and layout are top notch. Tons of features. 10 Sata ports for all those HDDs (2 pairs of them are on separate controllers). Multiple (10 i think) BIOS settings can be saved onto the MOBO. Many pluses, best of all being it's overclockability. 200 bclk was almost too easy. (1.25v with a D0 i7920).

This Board is Sweet!
Comment:
Short and simple this board will cover all of your high end lust for the i7 realm. The onboard LCD is sweet as it shows you Bios codes along with CPU temp after the POST has completed. I only recommend upgrading and getting the ECP if you plan on running 3-way SLI. The ECP just replicates the onboard LCD plus some of the jumper and cmos reset buttons. The reason you would need it with 3way SLI is your third Vid card will cover all those cool things up. Did I mention the board looks hot? I am surprised how much I could fit in it, Xfi Titanium, 3 285GTX, and still have room for my 9800GT if I feel the urge to run a dedicated Phys-X. Bios is a breeze and CMOS reset on the external I/O panel is a dream. If you want to OC or just want a board to brag about this is it. You can't go wrong with EVGA, great support, great products. If you want the best you go no further.

EVGA 141-BL-E760-A1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:For extreme overclocking it is strongly recommended that you have a PSU with 2 four pin cpu power connectors. (means buying a new PSU if you don't already have one that supports this)

Pros:Amazing stable overclocking ability!
Comment:
This board with the 920 DO CPU are a match made in heaven!! It overclocks the 920 DO with stock voltages (all voltages on auto) to 3.9 GHz easily on air. I previously bought the evga x58 3x sli (non classified) mobo with a 920 CO chip and I could only get that combination to 3.2 with stock voltages. I am very happy I spent a little more and bought this board!

You get what you pay for.
Comment:
I spent two months researching motherboards and read enough reveiws to last me a lifetime, on the more expensive boards I could not see saving 50-60 dollars for other high end boards that didn't get the same reveiws or didn't meet the kinds of quality that evga put into the classified. I didn't want or need the (extra card)model 759, so there i saved $49 dollars, live cashback was $20, so with shipping the best motherboard cost me $381 w/shipping! nice. Before I made my purchase i called Evga tech support and a humen being that I could understand, answered the phone in 5 minutes. That alone is worth a fortune. How long will it take you to get through to Asus??? ect. very pleased. Instructions are made for any level computer user.

EVGA 141-BL-E760-A1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- Run-of-the-mill Realtek integrated audio- EATX form factor (but will fit in many ATX cases)- Expensive

Pros:- Top of the line board- Great overclocker- Exceptional layout- Life time warranty
Comment:
EVGA did try to build something special with this board, and for the most part succeeded. The layout is perfect, but to get the most of it, you'll probably need a big case (EATX) even if the board fit perfectly in some ATX cases. EVGA also as a great online forums if you need help, and a superb life time warranty with advanced replacement. Before you order, go have a look at the Classified compatibility threads on the EVGA forums. Users have reported issues with some Enermax PSU.
