EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons: Starting to get Outdated

Pros: Great Price/PerformanceOverclocks wellGreat Warranty Extension from EVGA, also can trade up which is a plus (one-time only)
Comment:
A great card for the price and best bang for buck of an older generation of video cards. I'd pick some more along the the 5770/5850 series if you're into the newest games but this still does the job although its becoming more noticeable that its falling behind.

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons: After a year, none that I know ofThen again, it's already been a year, there might be a better GPU solution to this one by now...

Pros: Very capable GPUOverclocks wellGood investment
Comment:
Owned this for more than a year now, not a single problem. I think it's still the best bang for your buck GPU from last generation and it's still kicking ass this gen. Considering buying another one for SLI.

8800GT died, so I bought it's twin brother
Comment:
My 2 yo DELL had an 8800GT in it. It died (heat), so I bought this card as a replacement. It, essentially, is the same card in new packaging. It runs 46C idle, 56C after an hour of gaming, and 84C if I run Furmark test for 2 mins. Battlefield 2142 looks pretty with all on high, 1680x1050, at an average of 80fps. Same performance as my previous 8800GT. 3DMark was within a fraction of a percent better (so, the same). This card ramps its clocks down when in 2d mode (nvidia power saving). I didnt feel like swapping out my PSU to get a better more-powerful vid card, but for $100 this card works. Dell Vostro 400, Lite-on 350W PSU, 2GB RAM, Core 2 Quad Q6600.

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons:Had some troubles with the precision utility not installing and running properly even though I downloaded the most recent and proper installation file, not that much of a weakness.

Pros:Easy to install in a mid to full size case, much faster than my last card which was only about a week old. Win7 X64 picked it up very easily.
Comment:
Very pleased with this purchase and will pick up another to run sli. Great bang for the buck. Just a quick note to some future buyers with mATX boards and cases, from this model & greater the cards are fairly big, and the more powerful and badder the card is the larger it gets.

Outstanding Performance
Comment:
Bought this card cause it was cheap didnt expect too much from it however, it exceeded my expectations. I paired it with an old evga 8800 gt (for the physics) and can play any game I can throw at it. Crysis at high settings looks fantastic. I would recommend this card to anyone who wants an inexpensive but outstanding card.

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons:Not in the high range of the market anymore

Pros:Bang for the buck
Comment:
It's amazing how fast technology keeps improving. It wasn't too long ago that this was considered the best bang for the buck card, like the 5850 is today. for a 120 dollars it's still not a bad deal. Can play most of today's top games without problems. If your on a budget, this card me be the one for you. Make sure to check out the new 5750 and 5770 first however.

the only ninety-eight hundred GT you should buy
Comment:
I bought this product after a month- long trial and error search for the right card. Here's what i learned. Its better than the ninety-eight hundred GSO (that thing is crap, no variable fan control). Its better than any other ninety-eight hundred gt. Just because the chip is the same does NOT mean the card is the same quality! Buy a major brand name... this brand is the best.

What a great upgrade! I'm a crazy huge gamer but Call of Duty 4 runs maxed out like a dream! Oh, and I just installed Pac Man in Colour! running at 1440x900 with no problems! No need to overclock, but it can. Dont forget, it's not about how many gigs you have under the hood anymore.. Dont buy a gig card for 50 bucks thinking it will do a better job.

Great Card
Comment:
I bought this card two fold, I needed a good gaming card and I did not want to replace my power supply. What I got was a great gaming card and no problems. If you are upgrading make sure you look at the power demands on your system when scoping the cards, this one fits the bill

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons:ugh OC is min

Pros: OWNED SLI for 1 day nowcan play pretty much any game
Comment:
pretty good cards i run them SLI on my system very easy to use software so if your not a computer expert you can plug and run the disc. i was a little disappointed by the overall quality of the SLI i do see a difference but at 100 each your better off picking up a 275 GTX or a highend card. NOTE: i run my system at high rezhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hol5ea8FDE

BEAST!
Comment:
Ive had this card for a while now and I can say it is beast. It has lived up to my expectations and then some. Great Card. I still have an older monitor but I can run crysis on 1024x768 all settings very high with NO aa on with a playable framerate. It kind of took me some time to correctly seat it onto my motherboard. I love it. Highly Recomended

EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512-P3-N973-TR Video Card
Cons:Limited 2yr warranty. It uses same capacitors that blew on the 7600GT, hopefully it's been addressed by EVGA.

Pros:Price, performance, promotions(free games), size, utilization of auxilary power input.
Comment:
Again replaced a 7600GT on a budget game system. It's a vast improvement playing TF2 for sure! Great price bundled with Cryostasis. Considering the price I am very pleased with this purchase thus far!

Great card, good price
Comment:
I bought this card so that my brother and I could play Empire Total War and a few other games, and it runs all of them on high without any problems. It ran a little hot initially, but I scaled up the fans and it's been fine ever since.
