Performance without the price!
Comment:
Bought this card to go with a kit I ordered, and have to say that it was a solid, stable choice. Pumps out the frames at all max settings including 8x AA. This card DELIVERS, and at this price you can't afford not to order it.

Excellent -- Huge
Comment:
Bought this card about 2 months ago and, after re-routing some cables to give it enough room in my case, it barely fit between the back of the case and my hard drive cage. It has worked great since day one -- huge improvement over my old 8600 and I can finally run anything I want at max resolution. I was thinking about getting another to SLI -- but that seems pointless now. P.S. -- the EVGA Precision utility is great -- but card gets unstable above 730 core clock.

Great card, but known issues
Comment:
I bought this card to upgrade my aging 7900GS. It was a great upgrade and I noticed a modest increase in performance. However after the second day of use it began to artifact and eventually failed completely by the third day. Tech-support diagnosed it as a faulty card. I do not over-clock, I have above the minimum Power Supply to run it, all drivers were up to date, and I swapped to verify. After checking EVGA's own forums I noticed that I was not the only one who had to RMA a pratically new GTX 260 Core 216. For others, it worked fine though. Good luck.

Replaced an 8600 with this board for the 3D capabilities. This board is huge! My first board was a victim of Infant Mortality and died after about an hour. The replacement was received and installed within a week due to excellent support. Speaking as a novice, I think the 3D gaming is impressive.

Great buy for the price! Severely increased my gaming performance. Card is extremely large however, had to move around and adjust several things in my case to fit it.

Very Good So Far
Comment:
The shipment arrived on time and it works fine. The only problem is that the card is way longer than the regular video cards and it barely fits on my motherboard.

I got this card after my 8800GTS died and I don't regret it for a moment. It offers great performance and is definitely quieter than my previous card. EVGA offers great lifetime warranties. Register your card on their website and you're good to go.

Good card
Comment:
Will render Crysis @ high settings @1920x1200 with playable frame rates (most of the time around 40 FPS with momentary blips rarely lower than 15). As with any of the 200-series cards, I recommend SLI ready mobos so future upgrades don't mean necessarily scrapping a moderately pricey card.

Best Bang for Buck on the Market
Comment:
I've been using this card for about six months now and it's been the monster that I've hoped for. Back then I paid $300 and change for it. I can't believe you can buy it now for $190. Everyone looking for a good video card upgrade nowadays is lucky. At 1680x1050 you're basically going to be able to max out everything save for Crysis.

THE BEST CARD!
Comment:
What can I say....before i bought this card i knew it's gonna be a good one and ended IT IS!.. PLUS THE price is down you can't beat that..just make sure you have at least 750W or so to use this card coz you're gonna have artifacts in your screen when playing games..Overall, I recommend this..

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896-P3-1257-AR Video Card
Cons:None!

Pros:Performance, very little thermal output compared to ATI cards, little noise
Comment:
I purchased this card after being terribly disappointed with the HD 4890.. What a delight! This card is surely not as highly performing, however it stays much cooler, produces significantly less noise, and most importantly does not produce an electrical squeal/coil noise at all! This makes the card better in my mind, as I personally dislike noise, and video cards that act as ovens. Performance wise, this card plays all my games (GTA IV, CS:S, Crysis Warhead) just fine s 1920x1200 using medium to high settings.

Excellent card!!
Comment:
I did my research and decided on this card. So far it has met every expectation I had. I can turn up all the settings in the games I play (BF2 and COD:WaW) to their highest setting along with AA to 4 or 8 X. The included overclocking utility is very easy to use. It is quiet running but if you turn up the fan to 100% you can definitely hear it but it is not too loud. Register it on EVGA web site for lifetime warranty. When you do, there are links to download a couple of games for free along with a download of 3D advantage. As other people state, this is a long card so make sure your case can handle it.

Great bang for Buck
Comment:
This card blew away my expectations. Can run Crysis Warhead at a constant 40+ fps on all 'Gamer' settings at 1920x1080 resolution. The highest temp i have gotten is around 60C with the fan running at 40% in my Cooler Master CM690. Definitely recommend it. The Precision app is also useful for overclocking, but as of now not necessary.

Great Buy, great Perfomance
Comment:
Great Card. needs a ton of power, be sure you have ample power supply (550w). I have it running on a Windows 7 OS. The cd that came with the card is useless for Win7. Had to go online for drivers and such. Not a big deal. The Phyx overclocking Util doesn't work on Win7. Bogus. But, having said that. Best graphics card i've ever owned. Plays every game i've thrown at it without a hiccup or hesitation. Runs Abode CS3 wonderfully. Truly. I looked for months to find the best bang for my buck, and believe me, this is it. If the OC utility would have worked on Win7, it would have gotten all 5's from me.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896-P3-1257-AR Video Card
Cons:Loud friken fan!

Pros:decent overclocker, fairly priced, can play really high end games no problem, cool design, its EVGA!! :p
Comment:
I have this card for liek 2 weeks so far and I am LOVING IT! I have overclocked it to 710/1420/1200 with jsut a little bit of effort and it can go higher.fan speed is on 60% (i find it a bit loud) and it doesnt go above 83C on an OCCT burn test (really stressfull so that temp is normal), and doesnt go above 80 on ATI tool, and doesnt go above 75 on crysis all high no AA and on 1920x1200 resoltion. Speaking of crysis... I run crysis on all high 1920x1200 no AA and get around liek 25 fps.Very good card, yo should get it!
