Amazing card, handled all games with "High" or "Very High" settings which includes Crysis, TF2, Left four Dead, Portal just to name a handful of. FPS is commonly high and I have yet to have any hiccups! The tech demos included were fairly neat as nicely. Stays reasonably cool compared to my 8800 which you could literally cook eggs on. You'd assume they'd figure out how to make these points smaller?! SLI isn't truly needed if your other hardware is up to PAR, this card is a champ and can run alone if you select, but that's my opinion.

Update to my 9ቴቦ reviewThe card is operating like a champ. It replaced an 8800GT and I need to say, what a difference! runs all my games in 1650x1080 at max settings without acquiring too hot. The Mini-HDMI port is fairly practical as nicely, given that my Tv is fairly close to my personal computer desk. So I had each my monitors and my Tv hooked up, but there was a slight issue (see cons). The other point is it automatically updated win7 with an choice to output sound through the HDMI to the Television, so I didn't have to route a lot more wires to the Tv for audio, which is awesome! Also, the size was about an inch shorter than the 8800GT so I got some additional breathing room inside of my situation. The only con I have with this card is that although it has 3 ports for video out, ƒ DVI-I and 1 Mini-HDMI) it can only output to 2 of the 3 at any given time. It's not that major of a deal, because I rarely watch movies on my computer anyways, but it's good to have the capability to do so. Although, I I run dual-monitors and I was hoping to hook up the Tv as well. Located out I couldn't, so I put my 8800GT back in (in addition to) to run my secondary monitor, and the 460 for the key monitor and the Television. Functions like I had hoped appropriate from the start out, great issue I had space and power for both cards :)

This issue is a beast, it can run essentially any game maxed out. It's temperature is incredibly low all the time and it looks nice. It was easy to install and it booted up fine. It is so loud that it drowns out everything else in my situation. It is a really large negative of this card and I believe it is simply because of the external exhaust. It takes me away from performing standard points since even at idle this issue is quite incredibly loud. Get a unique card if the noise will bother you, its truly not worth it to get this card if you can get yet another that will substantially a lot more silent for the exact same quantity.

Outstanding card, low noise, excellent graphics, good sleek appear to it. So I've not too long ago started getting screen flicker, where the screen just begins flickering green prior to ultimately dying out. I mean I could just use the DVI, but I bought the card for the HDMI capability. I'll attempt contacting EVGA and see what happens, I hope they either give me an advance RMA since I don't have a graphics card I could swap in, neither does my board have an onboard... *sighs* well we'll see.

Great visual top quality and FPS in-game. Manufacturing quailty looks great. EVGA seems to have wonderful assistance and an active on-line community. FAH GPU3 client cooks pretty good with this card. Appears to be some excellent OC possible as effectively. Fan is a bit louder than my old card, but that's to be expected (not a big deal). Good upgrade from my old ATI HD4870 (this card is actually a bit smaller sized in size than the ATI). Single card, no SLI. Didn't wan't to have to upgrade my power provide (card is operating fine on an OCZ 550W PSU). Great cost with the ฮ rebate.

This card is extraordinary. As a step up from the GeForce 9800 GTX, there's no comparison among the two. I went from operating Poor Corporation two and Crysis on fairly high settings with minor lag to running each MAX with ZERO fps delays. I'm obtaining ჹ frames per second on Crysis with Incredibly High settings and 8x Q AA - and that says some thing to this card's power! I can only envision what an SLI would generate <:D I had a minor hiccup at the start off due to driver update conflicts. But after some reinstallation, factors worked fine. I do advise getting the Precision tools from EVGA when operating this card lest you danger overheating it. Also, the fan is a bit noisy. For the value and marked increase in overall performance, this is an additional five-star win for Newegg. I continue to be impressed by their offers and service in shipping and rebates. Great job. Maintain it up!

Upgraded from a 8800GTS. Runs incredibly cool. Refuses to go over 63C on something I throw at it. Even soon after and hour of Dirt2. Presently operating at 28C. All benchmarks are triple or better, more than the card it replaced. Significantly far better peformance than my 9800GTX+ on a related laptop or computer. Nothing at all. I installed it in an Antec 900 case with a 200mm fan on leading and four-120mm case fans. With the case fans set to lowest speed, I don't notice any extra noise coming from the video card. All of my video cards for the final couple of years have been EVGA from Newegg.

Can't say. I haven't tested this for gaming or something else so far, simply because the signal will not reach my screen. If your monitor is located close to your pc, although, go for it. My setup involves a tiny monitor close to my Dell Precision desktop and a DVI projector about 12 feet away from my computer system. This video card will simply not send a signal that far through HDMI. I contacted EVGA and a client service representative said, and I quote: "We do not guarantee our cards will transmit an HDMI signal more than ten feet." They must actually mention that in the specs. What's far more, the rep mentioned that some of EVGA's cards will send signals that far, whilst other individuals (even of the very same model) will not. He provided me an exchange, with the possibility that the replacement card would be better; but when I asked him what the odds had been that the new 1 would solve my problem, he mentioned "Not good." Speak about lousy high quality control. I just ordered a Tripp Lite HDMI extender (Model B122-000), so I'll try to repost later to let you all know if that assists.

Fantastic bang for your buck. Even on my aged core two duo program (e6400 @ 3.2 ghz) it plays all my games at max settings and rez 񢊀x1152). OC to F T W devoid of alter in voltages and little adjust in temps. Pushes generated heat out of case. Short card. External exhaust fan is louder, although not so loud to be disruptive. Idle fan noise is fine. Mine is a small warmer than other people it seems, 33 C idle 75-77 load at typical ambient temps in a well cooled eight fan CM 690 II case. With a larger but nonetheless conservative custom fan profile employing MSI afterburner max load is commonly about 65. I game with headphones on, so noise is not actually an issue for me when I run the card's fan speed at 70% plus (which is quite loud). I'm hunting forward to seeing how it performs when I plunk it in a new sandy bridge mobo in a couple of months.

Very speedy. I can play all the games I personal on maximum graphics. (Haven't attempted SCII with the new Extreme graphics setting.) Very neat downloads you can get from EVGA as soon as you own this product. Valuable over clocking selections and general fantastic item. When just about every now and then you will see a shred of static at the left corner of the screen. But it is modest and only showed up twice for me. And it was during more than clocking and just shifting the settings it hasn't come back. None

This GPU is hands down the ideal "bang for your buck," GPU on the marketplace. I went from the BFG 8800gt to this. When you get it up and running there actually is a "you got to be kidding me," moment. Soon to be replaced by the "smile from ear to ear." Fantastic card, acquire two!! None!!! Run's every thing on high with no troubles, not ultra but I believe thats due to a cpu bottleneck im only operating a dual core 4800+Runs very quiet and cool, you hardly even hear it operating even at 60% - 70% fan speed. I had to turn on the scaled fan setting simply because it wasnt turning the fan more than 40% and the temp was greater due to that reality. Because I've carried out that if hasnt hit 70.Alot smaller sized than any cards I've run lately, so a nice byrpoduct of that is increased ariflow. None that i can think of.

Smaller, wonderful brand and driver support, runs cool (doesn't go more than 70C playing games), great efficiency to value ratio, blows the heat out the back of the case. Value is a small high nevertheless compared to other versions of this card but not too negative. Doesn't carry out as nicely as the 580 =-) 1st one I purchased progressively got hotter and hotter till it was hitting over 100C and shutting down. I sent it back and received a new one swiftly and with as small pain as doable. I've played games day-to-day with this new 1 for a couple months now and it's working superbly. Doesn't even go over 70C with the factory set OC and no fan speed changes. I would definitely, and have, advocate this card to a friend.

Fan set to auto temps are at 29c idle, 65c load Not actually a con, but this cards fan is slightly louder than the gtx260 so be aware if your personal computer doubles as a HTPC as mine does.
