- Runs all my games at 1280x1024 with no a sweat.- Runs fairly cool ྾ degrees celsius at idle and about 60 degress full load).- External Exhaust design helps keep my case temperature cool ྺ degrees celsius to be precise). - Can\'t run multiple monitors without two cards in sli.- Fan gets a bit noisy, when over 50% fan speed. Excellent overall card and the at the moment presents the best bang for the buck on the market. I am seeking to get a different one soon to run in sli.

Rapid, great price, ฮ rebate, I like the EVGA precision tool that permits tweaking of anything (especially like the fan speed selection). Lifetime warranty Not as quick as latest stuff out...now. Some folks have heat problems, and it appears to be hit and miss Upgraded from a 6800GS, and guess what, its faster...This is just an amazing card that, fortunately for me, doesn't run hot like a lot of people have difficulty with (mine runs 93F idle, 145F load).Paired with a Core i3-530 Clarkdale and a EVGA P55 LiteBottom line: Excellent purchase, worth the cash, will final a long although

Reasonably cool operating. Noticeably elevated performance in ARMA2 more than old EVGA GTS 250 (that’s nonetheless a excellent small card). Runs older games great and it seems like the visuals are “better.” Operates fine with my old power supply 鹦w 30A). Excellent value vs. efficiency balance. None after reinstalling XP. See below. Can’t say it’s the cards fault but immediately after initial installation older games (Silent Hunter 4, NWN2 age range) displayed high FPS with noticeable stutter whilst newer game ARMA2 had no stutter. Study yielded several posts regarding GTX 460 and stutter so it was time for just about every amateur system builder’s inevitable question… to RMA or not to RMA? Reinstalled XP and reinstalled latest nvidia drivers (as of 2ቱቧ, very same ones I initially employed) and all stutter is gone. Wonderful efficiency now. Extremely satisfied. Also, my Creative Audigy sound card didn't like the GTx 460's HDaudio drivers (noticeable buzz from speakers) so I didn't install HDaudio drivers the 2nd time and disabled the HD audio in manage panel/hardware manager. No interference now.

It takes almost everything I throw at it with out a challenge. I can run all contemporary games at max graphics with no a hiccup. It also keeps my feet warm in the winter :) Runs a small hot, but it's manageable. You need to have a large case due to the fact it is rather big. Overall a excellent card and a very good investment.

Great Card. Low cost for Dx11 support. Runs every thing I throw at it just fine (Except Black Ops) but who can blame that on this card. This card even though its a overclocked version can go greater. Operating this on stock it idles at 22c and load its at 48c. Oced it idles at 24c and load is 51c. (EVGA percision temps) Wonderful temps. Oc is 810񳉄񳍜. Handles it no issue. Could go higher but id have to tweak voltage if i tried anything more than 820ish I believe. Could be wrong. Not genuinely at this point. ɛ EVGA. They rock. Fantastic efficiency out of the boxSimple to overclock with eVGA Precision softwareCompact sizeAttractive style30-32*C idle, 60-65*C below load soon after couple hours in gameTotally free Game!! Would have been cool to see a nice little sticker for my case instead of the full sized bumper sticker. Not practically a con...just a heads up to eVGA if they occur to see this :) This is the initially nVidia card I've owned. Was a big fan of ATI for years until they refused to acknowledge the issues with OGL two. assistance in the 3xxx cards. I need to say, so far I am way impressed with this card. FPS shot up in game among 20-50% depending on the game. This allowed for maxed settings across the boards with a still quite playable frame rate.A fresh install of Windows 7 just before installing the card created it feel like it was a newly built machine. The system appears totally stable which I have not observed due to the fact it was built two years ago.I cranked the fan up to 90% just to see how loud it was. It was quite noisy over my antec 1200 case. Even so, following gaming for some time the fan only reached 45%, which I did not notice. Noise level is all relative to your environment. If you have a big case with many fans you most likely won't notice it.If you need to have a new GPU do NOT pass this 1 by. Fantastic cost, excellent good quality card.

These are shorter cards which assists a lot, compared to my 8800 GT's. Installed just fine and have had no issues.Have an 850W PSU Thermaltake Black Widow, and it works fine.I5 at 2.66mhz. OC'd to 3.7. Operating two of these in SLI with CPU OC got 47 FPS typical in crysis Incredibly High Detail, DX10, 4xAA. Quite impressive. Still at 36 FPS typical when cpu is at stock. Luckily I had an SLI ribbon already. I can not understand why there would not be a ribbon included with such high end cards. So hopefully you already have on if you are operating SLI, trigger there wasn't on in either box. These are the lifetime warranty versions, so you can rest straightforward. You'll just be paying shipping if there is an concern. Luckily mine seem to be working fine. The EVGA programs Precision and OC Scanner are key bonus for testing for defects, and watching temps.Essential 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHzASUS P7P55 WS SuperComputerThermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W

Quite light and smaller then my GTX 9800.Temp: 40 - 50 C Had to RMA as games would just crash either on loading screen or while starting, plus freezing the OS. Tried Crisis, L4D, WOW, and other people. I really like EVGA cards and this is the initially time I had to RMA one. But the card looked inexpensive built as properly. Will enhance the eggs when I get my replacement and test its efficiency.

Comment:
Saying that this card is 'good bang for the buck' only makes it sound lesser than it is. The price is phenomenal for this card, coming from a 9800GT to this was no comparison. Bad Firm two runs all max with 60+ FPS. The onboard software program suite by EVGA is remarkable as well, the fanspeed is auto tuned to perfection leaving this card idling at around 30c. I've still yet to furmark or benchmark in any games, but I'm sure it would pass any scrutiny. Also compact and uncomplicated to fit into even my tiny and crowded case. Plastic case that the card came in is challenging to close back all the way, so its challenging to fit back into the box. (really, that's it) Of course this card wont perform as excellent as a 580, but it undoubtedly doesn't expense as significantly either.

If you have any monitor much less than a 1080p, which is 1980x1080, you will adore this card. At 1080p resolution the card is able to play most games with good frame rates. It vents hot air out of the case. Evga is a great company that provides 24 hr tech support. Dont forget AR cards come with a lifetime warranty. Register the card as soon as you get or else you shed that alternative. If you are gaming on a 22 inch or smaller monitor this card will give good frame rates and the fan ought to stay quiet. At 1080p type monitors the fan will run noticeable at max settings. My suggestion is to spend the extra on the new gtx 570. The new Gtx 570 can be had for not considerably much more and it delivers 1080p gaming with best frame rates and will run considerably quieter. If you SLI these then you may well get about the identical performance but with a noticeable fan noise. All in all, this is a fantastic card for any individual running a 22 inch or smaller monitor. You can also lower the game settings so as to maintain the card running cooler.

Sueet card for the graphics to cost ratio. I really like Evea cards with this kind fan on them they run forever. Exhaust of heat out of the back of the case is a real +. These cards are enormous so make positive you have a case that can handle them. NewEgg is an amazing place to SHOP! Try building a pc with these specs. on Dell.com for the $$ in no way comes close. If your installing this card on XPSP3 Don't Acquire this model. The HDMI port provides a no driver in device manager. Following 10 hours of looking for a driver it does not exist. Buy a card Without having HDMI! Dilemma solved. Install was straight SP3 install and Microsoft did Not consist of KB888111 to support HDMI with SP3.

All the Pros I listed ahead of The noise level is considerable higher than the 460GTX that I replaced (also an EVGA). Wish I could tell you the exact model number of the 1 I replaced but all I know for specific is that it was the superclocked 460GTX that Very best Obtain is selling, which has the fan in the middle of the board. Even EVGA couldn't id the thing from the SN I sent so I purchased this card from Newegg. I only bought this 1 since it was the 1373AR model that had the ltd lifetime warrant, fan on the end and supposedly much better airflow/heat exchange. Yeah, possibly, but it's a lot noisier! I have 3 230mm case fans and a 140렐MM push/pull fan setup on my Corsair H50. The tiny fan on this video card is a lot louder than all 5 of those fans, and fully drowns them out when the EVGA Precision utility ramps up the fan speed automatically to lower heat on the GPU. Have played about with dialing down BIOS and EVGA settings concerning fan speed but don't want to cook the GPU.

I can play wow on ultra video settings! Although im playing globe of warcraft the screen will periodically go black for a couple of seconds then come back. I have read that its a driver challenge and that nvidia is working on it but its been at least 6 months. I also read same challenge with dawn of war two and other games. I would rate it five stars if it weren't for the black screen ruining my game.

It's a very good budget gaming card. Evga changed the warranty... as of January 1st of this year if you get a SSC model from EVGA and you do not pay the additional cash for the extended warranty you will not be eligible for the 90 day step-up and your warranty will be cut from lifetime down to 3 years.

This card is the best bang for your buck, no competition. Sure, the 500 series my be a bit quicker, but when you can get two or 3 of these for much less $, why even bother? I am at present running two of these in SLI, and they rock almost everything. ever. Crysis Warhead all max settings @ 1920x1200 runs smooth as silk, Metro 2033 all max runs like a leaf on the wind (even with advanced PhysX enabled), etc. etc... On leading of all that, I have the two cards seated directly next to every single other in the two x16 slots, and even under Crysis load, they sit about 60-70*C, and that's with all stock fans on my Coolermaster Cosmos. :)Idle, they sit around 40-50*C, so if you have upgraded fans or water cooling, you can most likely get these items to go sub-zero!Case and point: Don't waste your money on ego factor, purchase these instead! In SLI, these will crush a single 500 card any day, and still price less cash. Obtain now! I'm not an hardcore gamer but I like to play with high performance when its the time. This card is just the most suited for gaming experience and at a price that doesn't stop to get cheaper, why choosing an ATI? Well, I've been using GF since the 256 and never been disappointed. Its always a great choice. I'm considering this exact same one for a SLI duo when games will finally have better graphics. For now, a single one of this runs everything at maximum settings.
