EVGA GeForce GTX 465 (Fermi) Superclocked 01G-P3-1467-AR Video Card
Comment:
The initially issue factor i did when i got this card was run it with Crysis, and lastly i could turn almost everything on ULTRA HIGH. Crysis is the the most graphic intensive game i own and it handled it like a champion, barely receiving heated up at all. In the future i would not get the overclocked vision. the only explanation for overclocking on a card this excellent is if you program on utilizing it for applications/games so graphic intensive that they don't exist yet or if you program on working with it to increase your processor. Unless your doing that the only thing overclocking does is expense additional, heat up more, and shorten the life of the card.however, considering that it is obviously stated that it is overclocking and i got what i payed for, i can not deduct an egg.

Comment:
Its smaller than the GTX 285 SSC which is quite nice. Its run extremely well, and the tesselation is a good advantage alongside having the updated DX11. OC is incredibly simple and noticeable. Runs FF XIV with no troubles. Fan speed is noisy when you get above 65%, 75% or larger sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Overclocking issues when the 285 was installed subsequent to it. In fact when the 465 was the key card, 285 drivers would not function adequately. Temps are a little bit larger than the 285, regardless of the cutout on the back. Does not out execute the 285 that i place alongside it. Got a bottlenecking situation when attempting to run PhysX on the 285. Decided considering that the 285 can OC higher than the 465, im using the 285 for gaming and stepping up the 465 to the 480, atleast that way i know the 480 will out do the 285 SSC.Its a fantastic single card for the casual gamer, but for SLI or PhysX, would not suggest a thing like this.

Runs whatever I throw at it on high settings.Aion (sigh NCSoft get it with each other just before this beautiful game dies) looks surreal and runs smooth as silk even through Fort Sieges Could run cooler and quieter - but the moment I get into a game I don't notice fan sound as much. You want this card if you are in the market place for related.

Comment:
Fan sound increased a little right after the initial day, but is tolerable. It is a medium to low whine. OC utility easy to use and allows you to monitor the temps. Pushed the proc clock & memory clock a little and went from 35C to about 43C, so not negative from a heat standpoint. This card runs significantly cooler than my old gpu's.Size-wise this is about typical. It replaced my bigger sli gtx 8800's and is only 2Ǚ's as long. It gave me far more space in my situation and a tiny much better air flow. Can no longer dry my hair with exhaust from case fans. Fan sound is mildly annoying, but cannot be heard more than my five.1 sound technique when fragging. Not worth taking off an egg. Efficiency for the money is excellent and allows me to run SC and COH at high settings with smooth graphics. I have not seen any pixelation in any games I have played so far.

Comment:
Games carry out a lot much better than with my old 8800 and it expense less than at the time I bought that card. Easy to install, fit right in my situation with no a issue (the screw-less set up in my situation had a little situation with clasping the card in each slots, but I was in a position to get it to perform in the finish) OC software it comes with is genuinely uncomplicated to use, specially for easy issues like rising fan speed. Not actually about that card, but be wary that the product may well not come with a Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable as stated in the facts but as an alternative with a Mini-HDMI to HDMI Connector. Not a huge deal considering that I already have an HDMI cable but for those who do not its an further acquire if you are going to connect by way of HDMI General fantastic buy, under 200 bucks and have but to total the rebate. 1st EVGA card ( Had BFG and PNY ) so we will see how it turns out. And of course...NewEgg's shipping is amazing and fast.

Not incredibly loud when its idling. Very good price tag for what the card does. Just barely fits into my mid-tower. The 540ti cards came out a week later. Can't fully experience its energy due to my cpu bottlenecking it. So until I replace that its only been a slight upgrade from the gt9500 card I previously had.

The card played all my games, also overclocked really nicely. My DVI 1 cease working and I just owned it for a week now. Going to try it on a Digital monitor to see if I get the identical. Hope not. DVI two functions perfectly, hope it doesn't begin to give the identical problem The funny factor is that when I plug a monitor on the port and use two monitors, the driver showed that two monitors is connected but absolutely nothing showing on the monitor thats connected to DVI 1

Card runs most newer games at max settings (screen res. max 1680x1050). Compared to other folks Temps are fairly low at loaded. Undoubtedly worth the funds and then the ุ rebate is the icing on the cake! Absolutely a great deal for gamers! So far I run BFBC2, DarkSiders and CoD MWɆ all with out flaw maxed out. None at all Card is rather massive (length in particular) and needs two PCI-E 6 pin connector cables...would not recommend this for everyone utilizing stock case and/or power supply

Upgraded from 2x9600GTs in SLI to one of these undesirable boys. Folks have been complaining about the heat, but soon after breaking this bad boy in, I've never ever been happier. Able to run Crysis two at maximum quality/resolution, with out any screen tears or artifacts. My computer's avg temp has had a huge reduction, and I can't even hear the fan! Needless to say, I'm impressed. Wish I had yet another two for 3 way SLI. ;) Existing specs (for comparison):Intel Q6600 two.4GHz quad-core CPU4GB 800MHz G-Ability RAM600W Rosewill power provideGTX 265 GPU

A lot more rapidly than my last card (Zotac 260GTX), tends to make online video play quicker & cleaner, efficiency is excellent, got a free of charge game and ฮ Vista rebate card. RUNS Really HOT!!! I even received an e-mail from Evga reminding me to use canned air every single 30 days to clean the fan inside the card. Can hold in a ton dust about the fan. I actually feel it is causing my technique to restart out-of-the-blue (but I could be wrong). I wish EVGA would not close their cards up, possibly take a appear at MSI. I actually need to have gone with the 470GTX. I would like for EVGA to make some sort of style to open the card up so it does not run so hot. Then ship it, Free of charge, to everybody that has purchased and registered their cards.

Runs not as well hot (about 45 C beneath load and about 30 C idle). It runs all of my games drastically and I haven't had any sort of graphical error. DX11 runs amazingly. Overclocker tool is good. None but. Runs great. Only problem will be I'd need to upgrade my PSU to run two of them in SLI (I have a 600w, you will want a 850 or 1000w for two of them.) Great card, extremely recommended.

-Quickly-Extremely stable-Runs like a champ -Very significant card. Check your case clearance prior to acquiring.-Rather loud-Software "auto fan speed" doesn't appear to perform at all. The greatest concern I have with this card is the computer software's auto fan speed doesn't seem to perform. Soon after operating the card for about three hours soon after installation I checked the temperture, and found it to be incredibly high. The fan speed totally never changed. I end up getting to open the computer software and manually setting the fan speed each and every single bootup.

The card itself runs excellent. I ordered two of these to SLI together. But I ordered this product a little too hastily. I identified out that the GTX460 is a considerably much better card for the income. Mainly because they run Significantly cooler and can overclock way greater than the GTX465. Runs quite hot. Idle - about 50CLoad - 95CI wasn't able to overclock it very considerably with no me worring about the heat.GTX460 tempsIdle 35-40CLoad 78C.Overclocked core 150MHZ and overclocked RAM 200MHZ bumped the temps up 1 degree C. Fundamentally right after a tiny more than a month I decided to use EVGA's step-up program and "side-grade" to the GTX460 for both cards.Immediately after paying about ฽ every single for each and every card, I upgraded them separately so my computer system wouldn't have any down time. 1st upgrade went devoid of a hitch and I got the card inside about a week from sending my 1st one to them. The 2nd video card was halted because there was physical damage to the card ƒ resistors had been missing on the bottom of the board). Fixing this harm would price me an further ๠ to retain the warranty and continue the step-up program. The card was operating perfectly just before I put it in the box and sent it to them. The damaged looked like it had often been there (no scratches). I was not aware of any damage at all. So I asked to see if perhaps they could just support me out with this as I've bought a lot from them in the past. There were no exceptions and I was forced to generally spend 贝 to side-grade to a GTX460 mainly because of SLI.

this card i bought due to the low cost and high quality of speed. it met those expectations very nicely. i chosen a micro p67 board. the case thati bough was tight. make sure that if you are looking to make the smallest attainable personal computer this tends to make it extra challenging. the energy placement connectors are on top and as such they are extremely tight. move the power connections to the tail.

Quick, good price (newegg sale) and came with three free of charge games. With the discounted price and free of charge games it was an effortless upgrade from my SLI 9800's GTX Temp but I am positive absolutely everyone knows that. I haven't reach 100 Celsius but but still warms up the area. Upgraded from my SLI 9800's and appears to be a noticeable distinction. EVGA is giving away 2 cost-free games with new 400 series cards. All you have to do is register the card.
