EVGA GeForce GTX 465 (Fermi) Superclocked 01G-P3-1467-AR Video Card
Comment:
Card is incredibly quickly! I replaced a GTX275 SC, with a massive efficiency jump,---initially (see cons below). Wonderful price, specifically with three free games! EVGA registration is uncomplicated with excellent options and assistance. Physics handling is outstanding! Mine has the high output exhaust plate. FYI previous reviewers: This card is a full inch shorter than a GTX275 and 260, PCI-E complete ATX machines really should have no difficulty with fit, even though some ppl might need to juggle SATA plugs on the board. I was actually excited!! The Superclocked 465 is supposed to be comparable to the 460, much less ๠, but then....... Badness. Operating Uni Heaven bench to check out DX11 tesselation etc, I ran into severe crash matters. Full lockup with no BSOD error codes. By no means occurred with the 275/ DX10. Crashes in CrysisWarhead, Mass Effect2, even Sims3! Dam*, dude. FMVantage will not even run with out a complete bork. Thought it may possibly be the heat ࿿ degrees that day) but crashes kept up in the morning @ 70f. Finally, a 0x0__1oE code; 'video memory manager' i.e. a driver problem. Nevertheless cant ascertain if the driver is the problem, or if the driver is tripping on faulty hardware. Win7x64, PhII965BE three.4(no OC), MSI 750a mb. Tried x64 and x86 drivers, EVGA drivers from the included disk, and dls from nVidia. EVGA 'precision' will not display GPU clock speed. Negative chip maybe? Starting to feel they didn't lock down all the junk. Bummed. I seriously don't want to RMA. Giving it 2 eggs, just for Newegg, not the product. Advise? ezzmon@gmail.com

Extremely low price and decent output, important upgrade from my 8800 GTX and half the price. Necessary this upgrade to get me to Dx11 for Civ 5 and got the job accomplished. Seems to run fairly warm, but has not had any problems but.

This card is a beast! It feels sturdy & solid, it's fairly long or atleast in my case it is, I was barely in a position to fit it in. Largely bought a new graphics card so I could preserve up with Starcraft 2. Results are good! While I feel like I require to upgrade the rest of my comp to get the full possible out of it. I feel like the card runs fairly hot, Im no professional on graphics cards but it makes me nervous when I'm running close to 90 degrees celcius. Prompting me to enhance my case's airflow. Nevertheless I really feel like overclocking this thing atleast in my case, would be a negative thought. I like that they placed the two power attachments on the top of the card, otherwise my card wouldn't have fit. Until I completely finish upgrading my comp, I wont know how great this thing is. So I'll just have to wait and see!

this card is wonderful I run 2 of these negative boys in SLI and all I can say is WOW what a difference compared to my ATI 5750. I have no problems with these and installation went smooth utilizing a 24in widescreen monitor 񢈀x1080) utilizing the HDMI cable not a dilemma. These cards do run a little hot but not enough to knock off an egg about 43 degrees C idle and about 70 degrees C on full load but it doesn't influence the performance as soon as so ever and for the size, properly all high end video cards are major now so not really a con to me I don't know if I have a defect card or what but the ATI 5750 doesn't appear to run as excellent as the gtx 465s even operating on a single card, my games like ut3, starcraft 2 and mafia 2 ran a little smoother on the 465 then on the 5750.

Great Video Card and so far I am content with its speed & graphics. I use it for Adobe Photoshop CS5 which demands a incredibly high finish Video Card. It has one Ƒ) HDMI connector and two ƒ) Digital connectors. Good if you want to hook up a second monitor on this one card. None so far. Make certain you have sufficient room in your case, this is a extremely huge card! I run two monitors of this card. In Photoshop one of my monitors is for the Photo I'm operating on and the second one is for the Panels & Tools.

EVGA GeForce GTX 465 (Fermi) Superclocked 01G-P3-1467-AR Video Card
Comment:
- Decent cost for a high function card.- EVGA top quality- For a Fermi, heat has not been an issue.- This video card was nicely packaged and shipped rapid. - Massive, but most cards these days are. Just barely fit inside my Cooler Master Mystique case. Luckily energy connectors are moved to face outside versus the end where they have in the past usually been located. This video card has been a excellent investment for me. I have had an Nvida preference due to the fact the ATI driver disasters of late 90's and 2k era. Almost everything runs smooth, no concerns, and flawless efficiency in WoW, SC2, BF:BC2, CoD: MW2, Singularity, and quite a few additional, all at max settings. In spite of all the negative press on Fermi heat, this video card performed flawlessly when my 2nd story A/C was dead throughout a week of 90-100+ degree July days.

As soon as i got it I was balling due to the fact i realized that i could run SLI with my new card, and my motherboard card built in! Its alot far better with the SLI enabled. I applied it without playing starcraft 2 on extreme graphics and it lagged in the beginning of matches. SLI assists it out and uses my motherboards built in card's memory so it doesn't hog all of my Baby's! There was 1 con and that was no 3D glasses or software program. I bet this baby could run it beautifully. I 100% reccomend this with SLI

- Super rapidly- Over an inch shorter than my old 9800GTX+- Overclocks like crazy! Currently running 800񳈰񳊭 with fan @ 60% speed, by no means goes above 70ºC below full load (testing or gaming) Heatsink was kind of a discomfort to get off so I could put some Arctic Silver five on the core to keep it cooler. Not truly the fault of the maker, I just like keeping things as cool and stable as feasible :) Wonderful card for the dollars, I got this 2 weeks ago when it was on sale. 趚 - 15% off - ฮ MIR = 182.50. Performs solidly in between the HD5830 and HD5850 cards, closer to 5850 when overclocked.

It runs BC2 and MoH all on high with AA on 8X with rez at 1600 x 1050, gets 70 - 100 FPS. OCs fairly easily with EVGA software program. I like this card and the rebate sealed the deal None... Recently upgraded from an athalon x2 with an 8800GTS video card to an i7 930 with this GTX 465. My FPS in the mmo I've been playing jumped from low 25 and high 40 to low 50fps and high 120fps. I'm now playing at max excellent and loving getting able to see all the detail I had been missing out on playing on lower qualities. NONE - I don't count size as a con, if you're shopping for high end cards you greater have a case that can accomodate them. Don't try and load this card in a micro atx case (square peg round hole ... it just won't fit). Make positive you go on EVGA's internet site and warranty the card when you get it asap. It's reasonably speedy and will save you a lot of headache if you ever need to have support. If you're thinking about going SLI acquire one and try it ahead of you obtain two...you may possibly uncover that you don't want SLI with this card to get the performance you're soon after.

Amazing graphics card. Runs all my games on Max which includes Crysis @ 4X AA even though maintaining 30+ FPS. Haven't tried 8X AA but but nonetheless looks amazing. Will be acquiring a 2nd 465 GTX SC due to the truth don't wanna have to obtain Another card and than a second 1 for SLi. Here's to hoping the extra Cuda Cores wont let me down in the future. Appears to have some Frame rate issues with most recent 266.58 Forceware drivers and Mafia II. Get some sudden drops in frames with everything on max although driving in the city. Has to be the drivers even so so 1 take a egg off. Wish it's performance was better than the 460 GTX which isn't so in the case of the 465 GTX. Being as this was more affordable at the time 赢 when i bought it. I bought it over the 460 GTX 1GB EE as i was in a crunch and necessary a graphics card that was far better than two 250 GTS's in SLi. This is such a card that runs circles around the 250 GTS even if it requires two PCI-E 6 pin connectors.Due to the performance below the 460 GTX in a lot of instances, i knocked a egg off. 465 GTX signifies superior than the 460 GTX but this is not the case. If you can find this less costly than the 460 GTX get it but if its about the same price as a 460 GTX EE 1GB grab that 1 in stead. You wont be disappointed. This factor is a gorgeous beast. It can play crysis or civ 5 on full settings AND play blu rays at the very same time. You go EVGA. The power pin connectors are towards the case access panel, if you have fat PSU connectors and a side fan, be ready to scrunch them so the cables don't get stuck in the fan.

- Cost/performance = good value- Nice computer software to either OC or make custom adjustments with- Good warrenty- It's an EVGA, so 24ǝ tech support None. Worked nicely right out of the box and haven't had any problems. The auto fan speed control is pretty nice once you make a few adjustments to it in the Precision software program. Not tough to do at all. Also, I genuinely like EVGA's trade up program that gives you 90 days to decide if you want to keep the card or trade up for yet another one. I've decided to maintain this 1 and buy another for SLI.
