No issue on install. Operating as designed. None @ this time. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill invest in and assessment. Glad to hear you were in a position to install the memory and it is operating effectively. This is one particular of our most common kits as it delivers great efficiency and stability. 2GB is becoming low for currently's memory intensive programs, so if you encounter slight lag under full load, you may want to look into acquiring an additional kit for a total of 4GB. If you have any further questions or issues, please really feel cost-free to make contact with us directly.Thank youGSKILL SUPPORTTop quality and consumer service are our best priorities.Tech Support E-mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

These sticks have performed well for the entire time I've had them. No heat concerns, no speed problems, no corruption problems. None. I thought 1 or each my have corrupted but that turned out the be a issue with my mobo and not the memory. I would be willing to go to DDR3 if the ratio be among performance raise and price raise wasn't so tiny. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill buy and evaluation. Glad to hear this memory has been working properly. This is one of most well-liked kits as it delivers efficiency and stability at a good price. Many laptop or computer labs, libraries, educational centers, all use this memory mainly because of its fantastic value and performance. There is DDR3 now, but DDR2 efficiency is adequate for most individuals. Works Perfectly, G.Skill For The Win! its not ddr3? I've owned these sticks for about two 1ǘ years now and they nonetheless work like the day I bought them. I've used them on about 4 different builds now, rotating among PC's in the residence and I've in no way had a challenge. A for certain acquire for anyone nonetheless running DDR2. I also recommend 2x2gb sticks for those running Vista or 7.

It is RAM. I plugged it in and it worked. Went from 2GB to 4GB, but I don't do something extensive to definitely see a distinction. It looks niceFor what I paid it is a excellent value and if costs go down even far more it is a much better deal I don't know if it was the slots on my mobo or the RAM itself but it was a little difficult finding it in. If I would of taken the board out it would of been a lot less complicated.

I desperately necessary these small gems to get my new develop going and Newegg, with ŭ off even, deliverd the goods. Bios recognized it right off, no hiccups. Now I'm steaming along! It took a little longer than I expected to receive, five days total, but Newegg to the rescue! They credited my account ũ.91 (where that comes from I don't know). Not a lot, but they acknowledged the carrier mistake and made it appropriate. I guess this must be a pro rather than a con! I will be ordering an additional 2GB kit in the near future. Thanks Newegg!

I'm running 4 sticks of this stuff with a Phenom 9950 in a Gigabyte MA790X-DS4. The timings are tightened to 4-4-4-12 and running solidly! I'd buy this ram again if I was to build another system for either myself or a friend. The nice red heatspreaders are a nice touch if you're running an ATI card, makes your system look nice inside. lol

I used this RAM in 2 different HTPC builds and it has been very stable overclocked to 4-4-4-12 timings in both systems. The build quality of the heat shield is top notch. Highly recommended.
