Got this memory for my youngest son's Computer along with a brief list of all new parts for his Computer. I had some trouble with the memory initially and loading Windows 7. Neither updating the BIOS nor ensuring correct drivers once I lucked out and got it loaded seemed to fix anything. I even attempted moving this set to the other two slots on the board. Memtest confirmed with a plethora of error reports that the memory was defective. A quick trip to G.SKILL's web site, considering that I was just outside the Newegg return date, to submit an RMA request and I was off and going. G.SKILL responded with an RMA number in much less than 24 hours and I had my memory back in a about a week. Wonderful service G.SKILL! When I installed the replacement memory and reimaged the machine I was impressed with the responsiveness of the new processor AND memory. It's by no means fun to receive something that doesn't function proper but I think prompt and courteous service goes a long way towards producing up for that. This is the initially return I've ever had to do with G.SKILL memory.

Gskill,OCZ and Kingston are the only memory I will buy. I have had bad modules from the sail boat people today (_orsair). I decided to get a pair of these for a HTPC create with an ASUS M4A79XTD board. Running on auto settings is failed Prime95 testing. Settings the timings and voltage manually was the ticket. 1.65V 򜤵 speed. TCL-8,TRCD-8,TRP-8,TRAS-21,CMD-2T. Prime95 stable as a rock for 24 hours + I wish it was less expensive and I could get a Gskill coffee cup! Wonderful memory.

Works as advertised. qvl with my asus m4a785td-evo board none I opted for 4 1GB sticks more than 2x2 sticks for speed. On the other hand, growing memory is not achievable.
