Plugged correct into my HP dv2000 and runs just fine. Upgraded from 2GB and a difference is undoubtedly visible when multitasking. No tweaking in the BIOS was necessary. Technique has been operating with no troubles. None. Not the RAM's fault, but it'd be nice if 32bit systems could allocate all 4GB. Vista recognizes three.2GB as usable.

Much easier no fuss install into HP Dv6 series. Upgraded from 2GB stock HP ram to this. Previously attempted to install 4GB of PNY. Very same specs, didn't perform. This was a flawless install. It no faster than the old stuff, but as an engineering student, 2GB wasn't cutting it on MATLAB and Solidworks. Superior Job G.SKILL Most costly than it was 1 year ago. If your thinking about upgrading you RAM, sooner is much better. These older RAMs just preserve receiving more costly more than time.

Nice cost and the usual exceptional service here at the Egg! Purchased for a memory upgrade in a 3 year old Dell Precision M6300 right after upgrading OS to Win 7 x64 Ultimate. Win 7 recognized all 4 GB but I did have to flash bios to most recent version (A13) to get machine to post. Not a major surprise, machine had original bios version from 2007 (A00). Took all of four minutes to install and passed some Prime95 and Memtest without a glitch! Runs nice and snappy now (originally had two GB and XP) but with Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and this GSkill ram upgrade it will maintain this oldie but goodie slaving for a very good lengthy even though! NONE Don't ever be afraid of purchasing GSkill (even for a DELL lol). You may well not locate it in the Newegg Product Finder for a Dell laptop but I've had no complications with any of their ram in the three that I've completed memory upgrades to. I've been operating their items in all the machines I've built for the past 4 years and take into account GSkill Tech Assistance the extremely finest!

I bought this years ago and it worked perfectly until it died. When It died I contacted the manufacturer and they had me send it back and replaced it cost-free of charge and no hassles. Died, even so I somehow blame that on my laptops design. It doesn't enable a lot airflow to the memory... Memory modules die and/or don't function to start with from time to time. G-abilities consumer service was excellent and they fixed the issue promptly. I would suggest this memory :D

I bought a 4Gig set for 1 of two Macbooks in 2007 that works perfectly, and has by no means had a problem. I bought this original upgrade following reading critiques confirming that the memory works with macbooks back in 2007. Sadly, it appears that the item has changed, but the component number has not. The second macbook in the property has been operating stock 1G given that it was purchased (purchased 1 week following the very first in 2007). I got this for my black MacBook as it is the most/fastest RAM that my laptop could handle. It's been operating fantastic for more than two years now! It's gone up in cost since I purchased it! Certainly recommend this for the black and white(pre 2010) MacBooks

Quite stable, really rapidly. Purchased a pair for a Mac Mini in mid-2008 and then upgraded a second Mac Mini a few months ago. These have both been running 24ǝ without error since I installed the RAM. Add Snow Leopard to the mix and you've got one solid rig. What's the deal with RAM prices?! The very first Mini I upgraded expense me ๆ. The second Mini price me ๤. Now it's up to 贄?? Is there a shortage of this stuff or is inflation genuinely that bad?! Used to be a die-challenging Corsair fanboy until a couple of years ago. Now I only use G.SKILL... in every thing; netbooks, Macs, servers, gaming rigs-- almost everything.

I bought this to double the amount of RAM in my laptop. I installed the sticks and haven't had a single concern with them. DDR2 is on its way out and is only finding a lot more expensive. I'm disappointed I didn't acquire these sticks back when DDR2 was dirt affordable.

Well, what drew my attention to this RAM first off was the price; secondly, I have heard fantastic remarks on G Skill's hardware and so I thought I'd give it a try. I normally purchased memory from Essential, Kingston, Mushkin and Corsair, but when I browsed memory, G Skill was always there with great rates and high ratings. Soon after receiving my memory 6 days right after ordering them, I fired up my Dell Inspiron 1520, which had 1GB RAM, and all were noticed Ɠ.5 due to 32-bit OS) and my laptop now breathes significantly far better. Wonderful memory! Absolutely nothing...fantastic price, excellent item, and it works. What's not to like?! I will definitely obtain G Skill for my subsequent build as they have advanced in hardware craftsmanship.
