Very very good budget memory. When I built my technique I went for reliability and bang for buck. I got each when I purchased this in Feb 2010. I have overclocked the pc (Phenom II X2 3.1ghz) and correct now the RAM is running at 440mhz and is working just fantastic. I have zero stability problems. I have absolutely nothing poor to say about this memory. If you're operating DDR2 this is fantastic stuff! Method: Biostar TA785GE 128M, AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition Callisto three.1GHz, 4GB, XFX Nvidia 8600GT.Overclocked from 3.1ghz to 3.62ghz on air cooling, unlocked to quad core, and this memory preserve stable to 440mhz 龰mhz) but beyond that I get BSOD's. The clock is running at 220. |

Ram performstiming is the similar as my 2x 1gb sticks gskill.In a position to overclock somewhat. Increased my fsb to 440 (ram is therefore running at 880) functions fine. Went via Memtest with Zero errors Price tag.No heat spreader. I had to wait for the 15% discount on all desktop ram to obtain this and with that, to me it's nevertheless high compared to other brands.In all it performs, now i'm running windows7 jumped from XP prior to the set of ramWhen I tried overclocking the fsb to 450, I would randomly obtain blue screens, this could likely be fixed with increasing the voltage to 1.9. Inexpensive, and does overclock. Just not all that properly. I have difficulty getting this to go substantially over stock. I didn't get this to overclock it nonetheless.The caveat right here is that I am running it with 2 sticks of 1Gb. This will surely hurt overclocks. Even so, because these aren't efficiency sticks, I suspect this will not affect anybody who is going to get them Mild OC capability. Not a huge deal at all. Functions as advertised. Each DIMMs arrived in excellent operating order. Running these in a Dell XPS 420 with two other 1GB 800MHz DIMMs for a total of 6GB @ 800MHz. None. DHL no cost shipping was good because it was free of charge but it does take noticeably longer than the typical Newegg UPS shipping (add 1-two days). Also DHL's tracking is for the birds. Package was delivered and their tracking system stated it was nevertheless two states away awaiting departure (two days behind). |

Thanks “G skill” for supplying an item that will actually do it’s spec. I ordered this “G skill” PC6400 to max out laptop or computer. (same specs). Wandering around the BIOS I noticed RAM speed showed PC5300. Sooo after investigating located the Samsung factory sticks rated at PC6400 would only do PC5300. Replaced Samsung’s with two sticks of yours and all is well at PC6400. possibly cost Realistically I only gained about 1-3 % on bench marks compared to PC5300, but HEY that’s far better than a stick in the eye. DRAM/FSB ratio was 5Ǚ it now shows 2Ǘ, that‘s fine because Async makes the infamous 1Ʌ ratio moot. |

I constructed a new Pc with an AMD Processor (Item # N82E16819103920), an ASUS Motherboard (Item # N82E16813131595), a raidmax midtower case w/ energy supply (Item # N82E16811156239) and this 4GB RAM all for 趋.00, through one of newggs well-known combo bargains. I can\'t say adequate good about how great this program runs. My wife just desires me to shut up about my new computer system but I can't!
