none After installing the memory, my computer system gave me error messages. I thought this was due to possessing switched motherboards from one CPU to the other and reloading Vista. This was not the case as I investigated the page default error. I removed the memory and located that the card was faulty. I am likely past my return policy deadline. Inexpensive, When Configured Appropriately, Rapidly and Stable. If you dont configure them correctly you'll get countless errors in Memory Test Applications. Knocked 1 Egg mainly because I had to essentially take away Mobo Automobile settings and manually set the ram Timings, I almost Paid to RMA these back to new egg. I noticed a handful of things major up to this,Working with 1 Ram Stick:RAM in SLOT A1 = DDR1333RAM in SLOT B1 = DDR400RAM in SLOT A2 = DDR1333RAM in SLOT B2 = DDR400Nonetheless I did notice the Default Automobile settings the bios would give the Ram was Wrong for the CAS, Bios would set 9-12-12-30. The Ram is Rated at 9-9-9-24.So I went into the bios and changed those settings manually, and I also changed DRAM Voltage from Auto to 1.53V (the closest 1 to 1.5v but above). I Dont know what the Auto was setting it at. But under voltage could have triggered the errors as well. I was also Told by G.Skill that I could drop my ram to 8-eight-eight-24 Timings to "Close the gap" amongst DDR1333 and DDR1600 efficiency if I wanted as well. Im content with stability at DDR1333 and working with both sticks in dual channel, so i wont press my luck.Tested the very good stick in each and every slot four passes, no errors.Tested the 2nd stick (the one particular that gave errors), 4 passes no errors.Tested Each sticks Together Populat Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientThank you for your G.Skill obtain and assessment. We are sorry to hear you were having problems. This memory kit is above the common, so manual settings are required. Glad to hear you were in a position to get it operating correctly. Low-cost and works as advertised. RAM heatsinks are groovy. Very suggested! It won't get me a beer from the fridge when I ask it to.All 1600 ram is going to default to 1333 why are men and women complaining about this?? If your motherboard supports this ram all you really should have to do is choose profile 1 from your XMP (extreme memory profile) in your BIOS beneath your memory settings. That's it. This worked perfectly on my Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3l motherboard. Operating great and smooth at 1600... **Make confident any ram you get is on the Certified Vender List (QVL) for your motherboard!! I've discovered several cases exactly where folks use non-qvl ram and nevertheless get bsod difficulties even even though their method passes memtest and other diagnostics with flying colors and it is due to the non qvl ram!!**

Looks Good Anything is up with this memory. Like quite a few other reviews it worked at 1600 mhz for a even though, them 1300 mhz for a bit much more, then at 1066 mhz till the system just would not run. Blue screen city. The memory was listed on the motherboard manufactures approved memory list but somehow I doubt it ought to be listed there. I installed this memory on a Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 motherboard along with an AMD Phenom II X2 555 rev C3 CPU. The BIOS set the memory speed at 1600 mhz in auto mode and the system was extremely stable for four months. Then came the blue screens. Visiting the G.Ability forums I discoverd other users of this memory had been having the identical issues with AMD Phenon II processors. I tried some of the suggestions I found there. Every time I tried something new I would get a handful of weeks free of blue screens and then the blue screens would come back. I guess this memory is not incredibly friendly with AMD processors I do not know if it plays properly with Intel. I chucked the sticks and put in a pair of some other brand 2gb ram at 1066 mhz and all is nicely. No additional blue screens. The G.Ability memory scored 7.four in the WIN 7 assesment running @ 1600 mhz. The other memory had the similar score running at 1066 mhz. Go figure. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe are sorry to hear you had matters with this kit. With the proper settings in BIOS, you must have no troubles. This memory is above the typical, so manual settings are necessary. If not, the method will default to DDR3-1333 CL9 max. Once adequately configured with manual settings this RAM is super quickly and super stable. It says on the box that this is 1600MHz RAM but as other evaluations have informed me would happen, when I powered up my machine it detected the RAM as 1333MHz.If I had not gone into the BIOS and manually set the speed to 1600 I would have suffered a performance hit for not reading the critiques prior to shopping for. I wonder how several men and women out there are not getting the complete speed of this RAM because of the way it reports its speed to the motherboard. A lot of folks who are returning this product simply because it was "DOA" or due to the fact it stopped operating when they moved it to a new computer system are most likely frying the RAM by not correctly grounding themselves prior to touching it and placing it on the motherboard. If you're going to be developing computers you really should take a A+ certification course, it's not very pricey and it truly assists with this stuff. As for the manual setting, the RAM may report the lower speed simply because faster motherboards can use slower RAM but slower motherboards can't use quicker RAM, so the speed reporting could be an try to increase compatibility. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientThank you for your G.Ability obtain and critique. You brought up some extremely good points. All DDR3 motherboards have a maximum default of DDR3-1333 CL9 (JEDEC normal). This enables all motherboards to boot with ANY memory, whether it be DDR3-1600 or DDR3-2400. In order to operate high frequencies, manual settings are required. As you stated, this also allows high overall performance motherboards to operate lower frequency and timing memory. For more facts about this topic, search for overclocking guides for your platform. The rated memory specifications aren't necessarily the settings you want to use, there are quite a few settings in between that you can try that may well prove to execute even far better for your distinct setup.Thank youGSKILL AssistanceHigh quality and consumer service are our leading priorities.Tech Help E mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept Email: rma@gskillusa.comG.Ability Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

I've had no issues reaching the 1600 rating and they overclocked to 1820 mhz @ 1.6v no problem. Value is a lot less expensive now than when I bought my initial 3 sticks in 2010. I purchased 6 gb worth at initially back in Sept 2010, in about 6 months 2 out of three of the sticks went bad, throwing constant bluescreens after Computer start out up. Memtest confirmed two out of 3 of the sticks died. I have a gaming computer so 2gb isn't adequate, I decided to get this 4gb pack to replace my lost ones quickly. I've had this 4gb set for about a month now and already a different stick has died, leaving me with 3 out of five total dead, and 4gb left. I've never had so substantially RAM die on me like this, idk If I just got a negative batch or what.
