At the time that I bought this ram, it expense ๪. Superior cost for four gigs off DDR3 at the time เ is kinda typical now I guess. Functions at 1333. It gets 1 star since it does not work as advertised. It will not run at 1600 mhz at 1.five volts at 9.9.9.24 Absolutely nothing but bsod all day extended. I will not get Gskill again. I have 3 sets of gskill on different platforms at the moment, 2 are troublesome. The 1st was amazing but 2 poor in a row is sufficient to sour me for ever. NO Quantity OF TWEAKING WILL Allow IT TO RUN STABLE AT 1600, NOT THAT I Really should HAVE TO. Inexpensive ram, fairly rapid. Set at manufacturer spec timings and voltage, comes up at 1600, but each sticks had errors with Memtest 86+, motherboard was GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3, and this ram is on the "approved" list for this motherboard. Attempted altering timings and voltages to no avail. Put ram on an additional motherboard with unique CPU, nonetheless had errors. Newegg is the Best for consumer service. MAKE Confident you test your RAM for a couple of hours ahead of loading your OS!!!! Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe are sorry to hear the memory is not operating properly on your technique. Not all AMD CPUs are fully capable of DDR3-1600 natively. You will will need to raise the CPU-NB Voltage Ʈ.1V or DRAM Voltage Ʈ.1V to stabilize the memory. Added this set when on sale to an additional set I had for total of 8G. I had read in G.Skill Forum some timings I wanted to attempt. I set these at - 1333 @ 7-7-7-21; 15V. Win7 liked the 8G's of mem, my MSI Motherboard liked the timings and I bumped up my Phenom II X2 555 a click to 34Ghz and it purr's like a kitten(guess I'm not a real overclocker). Ha. I use this for a HTPC. The 4GBNQ was the only heatsinked mem that I could get between my mobo and the difficult drive cage in this matx case. Really, like its proper up against it. I know that a lot of people today have complained about their bio's not selecting it up at 1600 -- that your motherboard's issue. Not the mem's. If a bio update dosen't fix it then you will require to set it manually. If you are so inclined, check out G.Skill's Forum. There is alot of very good facts there.

Rapidly, Cheap, and wonderful warranty if its set up suitable. Bought 4 sets of these for four new pc's. Very first create went fantastic, second build, bsod, lock ups, etc. Read a lot more below. Timings were not right by default. Not positive if it was the rams fault, or the P55 motherboard. Initial create timings were detected as 9-9-9-24-88-5-50-6-12-6-1-10-5-four-7-4-7 and it was 100% stable at 1600Mhz @ 1.61V. The second build timings were detected as 9-9-9-24-74-four-20-5-10-5-1-10-five-four-7-four-7 and would bsod, and freeze all the time. This was the case with the bios settings at "Standard" or "XMP Profile" setting. Would not pass one LinX test at all. I even changed the voltage a tad over the rated max and nonetheless not any improvement. I lastly changed the timings to what the 1st set were detected as and it now works perfectly stable! Passes 100 pass's of LinX with flying colors and thats running at 1600Mhz like they really should be running. Good ram, but it took me a couple of days to lastly find out what the issue was. I do know that these sticks wont run @ 1600Mhz at anything much less then 1.61v. Not in the motherboards that I purchased anyway. All in all, Im pleased with this ram, I just generally never ever have to mess with timings. This is my initially acquire of G.Skill ram, and Im not confident if it will be my last or not. I have two additional computers to finish, and I will see how the other sets function. Fantastic price on the other hand on this ram, I hope they dont dissapoint me as I require to construct two much more computers for my residence besides the two I want to construct for my place of employement, I just may purchase much more if they they hold up. **ATTN To Any person who complains that this ram wont run 򜩀Mhz and operating an Intel i3 CPU. This is a limitation of the CPU and NOT the ram. In order for the ram to run @ 1600Mhz, you will need to have to overclock your cpu. Just thought I would let you know prior to you knock eggs off and give bad reviews.

- Excellent price/performance ratio- Snappy looking heatsinks- Heatsinks aren't bulky and leave some breathing room in between modules - N/A Purchased to complement a prior obtain of the identical kit for a client's pc. Upgraded the total RAM from 4GB to 8GB for a very reasonable price. (Compatible and utilised with Asus Maximus III Gene). You may will need to verify speed settings in BIOS but otherwise no issues. Mild overclock effective, kept at reasonable speeds for sake of stability.

Inexpensive, bought this a year about when it was 贉. I got two sets for two distinct builds I was performing. One set worked, the other set didn't. It would trigger random blue screens. I spent several hours narrowing it down. Replaced via Newegg had to pay shipping and restocking fees. The new set seemed to work and haven't had problems. I have had overclocking problems with this memory also. At stock speeds it is working, but I will not get GSkill memory once more. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are getting complications. This is an entry level gaming kit, so overclocking results are restricted.
