black PCB, red heatsinks (fav color).easy install, detected no difficulties. none. would get far more but already have 8gb useful hint to these installing windows with more then 4gbonly install 1 stick prior to install, and dont add a second stick until following install. this may well be an older generational factor, but too much memory ahead of technique is setup to handle "x" amt of memory may possibly result in hiccups during install.

-Heatsink looks cool but actually does a decent job of cooling-Did not interfere or pose a challenge for overclocking -This has absolutely nothing to do with the ram in itself... But no sticker this time... My final G.Skill ram had em.. oh well. Overclocked an AMD 955 c3 to four.0ghz on hyper 212 cooling at 1.3v. Having 8gb of ram is usually an obstacle in overclocking, but this a single worked perfectly.While this ram is 1333, it'll get the job performed for substantially less expensive. The new 1600's aren't really that substantially far better in my opinion.

Each DIMMs worked on first boot. No hiccups, no complications. Fantastic price/performance ratio. Went from a 6.4 to a 7.6 on the Windows rating. Timings were recognized without any adjustments. None therefore far. Package was partially opened permitting for 1 DIMM to slide around withing the package and knock against the other DIMM. It would be nice to see a piece of tape or two on the sides of the pacakge to ensure a decent seal. No eggs lost due to the fact both DIMMs worked.

I purchased a new Vostro 460 computer (Motherboard #0Y2MRG) from Dell with only 2GB of RAM. I did not want to pay Dell for a memory upgrade as it seemed too expensive to me and I figured that I can get it cheaper elsewhere.I was surprised when the salesperson mentioned that the RAM i was purchasing may not be compatible as Dell even if it had the same specs. In the end I decided to let my frugal side take over and risked the restocking fee. My first power-up with both sets of RAM resulted in the system "Beep" sound. My second power-up with only the new RAM worked. I have been using the RAM for a few hours without issues. I'm disappointed that I could have 10GB of RAM, but 8GB still ok.

I purchased three pairs of these based on evaluations, and haven't had a single difficulty but. 24g's of RAM is a wonderful thing. I haven't had a chance to tension test them, but I get the feeling it will work out. None.

A winning mixture of lower price, fantastic efficiency, and teeth. Possibly the least expensive 4GB ram you'll ever pat your self on the back for. Switched out from G.Skill 2x2GB Dual Channel 1600 and noticed a lot, considerably longer boot occasions by comparison. Like full minute long. Odd correct? Perhaps my sticks weren't produced as properly. Can't use both sets together from faulty clips on the mobo, but that's one more problem isn't it. Listed identical stats and speed, but figured the ๮ teethless win soon after some time on Crysis & Oblivion on high.
