Nice pair of RAM. This is my 3 G.Ability item that I've purchased within two years. I had a tiny difficulty fitting the 1st 2 sticks below my Noctua D-14 due to the fact I don't have little hands. I at some point got them in there, and had to move the 120m fan a couple of notches up. No biggie. I bought two sets, and still not able to run them in their 9-9-9-24 setting. I either have to set them at 11-11-11-24 I tired raising the Ram voltage to 1.65, and raising the voltage thats tied to the memory controller(i forgot the term), and nevertheless crash or BsOD unless timings set to 11. Good hunting Memory. Runs as advertised. G-Ability was incredibly valuable in my query. Newegg shipped out quickly! Newegg shipped two packs, unmatching, as a result will have to rma 1 or both sets to attempt and get all matching. These sets WILL NOT PLAY Good WITH Every OTHER!!! Even though almost everything on the package says various. Even same born on date. The only difference I could see was one set obtaining a halographic sticker and the other one didn't. All specs were the exact same, item numbers, ect.... but they would default to 667mhz or 1333mhz respectfully. took one particular set out and vioala! works perfectly, then tried the other and I'll be... It functions wonderful also. Can't take off an egg for catching a deal and hoping for the very best. The RAM's speed defaulted to 1066 with my motherboard. I realize that there is an business standard that will clock this ram (any ram more than 1333) lower than labeled, but I'm fairly positive that it's only supposed to bring it down to 1333. No matter, as I stated ahead of, I simply overclocked it to more than 1600. I haven't had the RAM quite long. If I keep in mind, I'll write an additional assessment when I've had it longer and talk about the reliability of the RAM. But once again, it has a lifetime warranty so if something DOES go wrong, I've got G-Ability to fall back on.

I bought this RAM because it was on my motherboard's compatibility list. I've been happy with G.Skill in the past and this RAM was no exception to the rule. Tests with Memt86 show no errors and the machine runs very well.

Powerful and quick, functions good in my mobo, colors match my mobo theme. None. Just a note on latency. It's mainly meaningless so don't search for memory based on how low the latency is on a certain brand or model. The actual speed is much far more crucial.

Works great at 1600 鴈BCLK 8X), even tweaked to 8ǞǞቱǗT with 4Ghz QPI stable at only 1.50 volts. It's good to get additional than what you pay for. YMMV. Not stable at 1740, even at 1.6V and 9ǟǟቴǘT, but I'm pleased with lower latencies at 1600.

8GB times two equals 16GB!! Runs great. Havent had troubles. The memory defaults to 1333MHz but I know that is not GSkills fault or my MSI 790FX-GD70's fault. It is just a BIOS problem and is quickly fixable. Go in and alter the value. Straightforward as that. Then you get 1600MHz This will be the second RMA for this RAM. Sent back my 1 package from the original order due to the fact it was DOA, system wouldnt boot. Didnt like having to pay return shipping. Speedy Process of receiving new RAM. Installed the new ram and technique recognized it. System would boot but would lock up and BSOD under any type of strain. Ran memtest86 and got fairly a couple of errors for the 1 new stick. Popped in, set timings to 9-9-9-24 (everything else, speed/voltage had defaulted correctly with my ga-p67a-ud4 mobo), and forgot about. No difficulties whatsoever :P It's RAM, how excited can you get? Proper soon after I bought I kept seeing offers for other 8gig DDR3 1600 modules in the โ-70 range...oh well I wonder how substantially performance distinction there is between say this module and a corsair dominator @ 2100 MHz...

I price matched this RAM and got it pretty cheap. It was a nice price for 8GB. I initially got it in hopes of having it work with my 4GB set (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL). But there seemed to be compatibility issues. I got a lot of random memory BSOD's.Once I took out my old set, everything was fine. I can live with the 8GB, but it is a tad disappointing. I was really hoping to run with 12GB.I also hear there's a lot of issues with G.Skill in general and ASUS mobos. So that could've been my issue as well, as I have an ASUS mobo.Still, I can't dock it too much for that. Good RAM for a good price.
