Operates with Intel Sandy Bridge i7-2600K CPU and P67 mother boards.SPD data populated with multiple profiles and 1 XMP profile.Take it for granted efficiency, insert it, tweak two BIOS setting to use XMP profile, and you are accomplished.Runs cool, no will need to enhance voltage. Works so well it's boring, nothing to fuss with or massage into cooperation. This is my fourth set of G.SKILL memory modules, and I've by no means had any issues with any of them. With default/Auto BIOS/EFI settings, will run at 1333, Intel's common. Set memory profile to XMP and you're at 1600. Command Rate is 2 in the XMP profile, will function fine set to 1.Will work good in ASUS SaberTooth P67 mother board.

Wonderful value for 8 gig memory at this speed. Appear to be incredibly well constructed with huge heat shields.I ordered two sets of 8 gig ƒ x 4gig) for a new ASUS M4A89GTD motherboard maxing out the 16 gig memory. I appears 1 of the 4 units is failing throughout the very first week. I have had many blue screen failures on this new memory/motherboard/cpu purchase throughout the begin-up process. I performed a memory test last night and one of the 4 gig mods failed nearly all tests. I will be re-seating the memory tonight and performing additional tests, but it appears I may well have gotten a poor memory stick. Great price following the โ Newegg discount. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you are getting concerns. Please test every single module individually to see if 1 performs differently. If so, send them in for RMA and the replacements need to function better. All G.Skill memory packages are backed by a lifetime guarantee for these kinds of scenarios. I put 16GB Ɣ sticks) of this RAM on a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 and it's all operating perfectly fine.It ran at full speed right away on this board, but it also gives a XMP profile that has slightly unique timings than stock. XMP works excellent on this motherboard and with this RAM, it shows up as "Profile1".Aesthetically, these sticks appear extremely sleek if that's crucial. The PCB on all of mine is basically black, not green.Memory bandwidth on a four.4GHz 2600K is ㅌ.5 MB/s which is specifically what I would expect/hope for.The cooler appears tall, but I was in a position to mount a Corsair A70 cooler with no hitting the RAM heatsinks. Just make confident to mount the RAM on the motherboard just before installing a massive cooler. I'm extremely satisfied with the good quality of this RAM, all the 16B purr along nicely. Zero complications, instant good results.1 more factor that firms don't get praised for when they do it proper: the package is simple to open! Thank you, G.Skill! None at all. Running on Gigabyte EP-P67A-DS4-B3 rev 1.1 in dual channel interleaved mode using XMP "Profile1" setting.

Really quick, good heatspreaders Getting troubles operating at stock 񢃀) settings. Had these operating at default 񡾵)for a couple days just to make confident they worked. I went into the BIOS to alter the settings to make them run at the rated timings ƙ-9-9-24) and speed 񢃀) and started finding concerns. At first I was getting crashes when running games, then it began crashing randomly even when web browsing. Loaded up MemTest and ran at the rated settings mentioned and got over 200 errors. Changed it back to 8-8-8-24-1T 򜤵 and got errors. I also ran Prime95 Blend for an hour and got errors as well.Mobo and CPU are as follows:Mobo: Asus M4A77TDCPU: Phenom II x3 720 @ three.2 GHzNot positive if my CPU overclock is affecting me running the RAM at the rated speeds and timings. I'm running 16GB of this on a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 board. The memory ran at full speed 齠MHz, PC3 12800) correct away without XMP settings, but it offers a XMP profile that works just as well. Each XMP and non-XMP mode worked just fine on this particular motherboard. All 16GB checked out 100%. The PCB is essentially black, not green as shown, makes it appear even cooler!I purchased a huge cooler for my 2600K, the Corsair A70. On this motherboard, two of the sticks sit underneath one of the CPU cooler fans. The heatsinks are NOT too tall and every little thing fits, but I had to put the memory in before mounting the cooler. That's not a con, just a heads-up for people today with large coolers to mount the memory on the board initial. There are no cons. For the cost, this memory is great. Thanks for the ษ off coupon on this, it produced me buy 16GB instead of 8. A lot more memory is employed as cache in Windows, so it's never wasted.

Soild create, and three of the four stick I purchased function.Paird with a 2600K and they create good results7.6 out of 7.9 on the Windows Expertise Index (MSI motherboard.) I had one poor stick that took over a month to come across. It passed each and every diag I via at it (Motherboard and Windows 7), but my system would blue scree just about every couple of days and failed to pass a burn in tests. (would run typical communting tasks however.) Only right after stripping the sytem and pulling items one by 1 did I uncover the bad part. Not positive 贄 is worth the RMA. Alright, the replacement I just got right now are operating ideal. 1st factor I did was pop it in my mobo, and ran memtest86+ four.20. After 10 passes, no error surface at all, none. So I'm quite happy with these ram proper now. Initial set I got had 1 poor stick which gave me tons of errors. Yet another thing was I had to pay S&H which was ű, and essentially waited 2 weeks for the replacement. Despite the fact that the initial set had one poor stick... I am quite pleased with the new set of RAM. Thank you, Newegg & G.Skill for the new RAM.

Exactly where do I start? Although I don't have any benchmarks to provide you, I can say that I've been working in skilled audio for several years and memory is the most important portion of 1's computer system studio. That said, I've never ever had memory that fully changed the ballgame like this pair has. I was nervous about the latency ƙ-9-9-24 sounds a bit high when dealing in audio given that you want speedy response times -- or so I thought) but the speed and stability has been unmatched. Not natively 1600 from what I can tell so you have to specify it in the BIOS. That could be a mobo dilemma. For some reason, my BIOS wanted to pump a lot a lot more voltage into the memory than is vital -- the 1.5v is plenty sufficient. Maintain that in mind. I've never ever bought or owned G.Skill memory ahead of. Suffice it to say, I'm a convert.Running in Win 7 x64 on a Crosshair IV Formula

Works Good at 1333MHz. Very good price, would be a wonderful cost if it truly ran at 1600MHz Will not run at 1600MHz no matter what I do. I have read the forum post linked by G.SKILL in other critiques and I am still not able to get this ram to work at 1600MHz. The RAM will boot and past Memtest86+ and Prime95, on the other hand the system will not post immediately after a soft boot (hard boots are fine). I had the same problem at 1466MHz 鴜x18, 3ᚲ) but was able to stabilize the RAM by upping the voltage to 1.6, which is virtually 10% in excess of the factory spec. I'm uncomfortable going greater so preserve the RAM in the lower speeds. I have observed some have achievement running this RAM at 1600MHz but numerous have had issues. I'm unsure if these are motherboard or chip related problems, but the truth that additional voltage partially resolves my concern and running at lower clock speeds on the RAM only point to an issue with the memory itself. My motherboard is an Asus M4A79T with an Athlon II 1090T CPU.Just before overclocking I did try operating this at 1600MHz with the FSB at 200 so I know that other OC variables are not at play with the stability problem.Would be five eggs if it worked at advertised speeds. I could have bought 1333MHz RAM for considerably more affordable :( Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you are getting concerns.
