Nice LEDS, Good fans and RPM is superior per noise level. the way it mounts to the RAM slots appears like soon after many uses it may well wear and break. ( like bending a coat hanger back and forth too several times.) given that it relies on tension

Looks cool 4 pin molex is garbage!!! The smaller 3500 RPM fans are loud!!! If it was 3-pin I could have hooked it up to my fan controller to manage the fan speed to lessen noise. I tried to cancel right after ordering, but it was already in method. Researched on the net Soon after I ordered it to recognize it is loud. Would have price $ ten to ship back for RMA, I bought it for ภ.98 shipped, so I just decided to keep it. I ended up buying the corsair ram cooler and guess what? It's loud too but, it has a 3-PIN connector and I have it operating at 1000 rpms through my fan controller. Super quiet. At those speeds it's worthless. Moral of the story I bought a memory fan controller simply because they look cool. I don't overclock so it kind of makes it worthless. So if you want this memory cooler for looks make certain you can deal with far more fan noise. Otherwise get a cooler that has three-pin so you can regulate speed if crucial. I truly liked the look and style, but the four pin molex is a enormous disaapointment.

This factor does what it is suppose to. It moves really a bit of air for its size. I noticed a enormous difference in temp on my 4 sticks of g-skill operating at 1600 9-9-9-25. I would recommend for just about everyone. Its a small flemzy, but I expected that. There is a opportunity that it will not clear some thing in your case and you will have mounting issues. But it is flemzy so you can get around that in most cases. It touches my cpu heatsink, so it is a small off center, but so am I. Its worth a shot for only ฟ. If it doesnt mount up appropriate, or it fails who cares.. its 15 bux. But it worked for me and I am happy with this obtain Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill invest in and assessment. For any individual operating full slots, this is a wonderful investment as it significantly reduces memory temperature. This is the similar fan cooler utilized in our high performance kits, so it will surely do it's job. For the price, it is totally worth keeping your program cool and prolonging lifespan of parts such as memory, even although G.Skill modules have lifetime warranty. Cons:LEDs are blue, I would have preferred red but meh.

Pros:nice to actively cool ram, bright LEDs
Comment:
solid product, PM'd down to like 10 bucks, can't go wrong with more cooling for critical parts.4 stars because mounting is slightly jiggly on new boards that only have mem clips on one side of the dimm

LEDs (blue) are fairly bright. Looks like 3 LEDs per fan. Not loud. Moves sufficient air to fulfill it's purpose. None so far. I adore the nice blue LEDs. Haven't been working with it for long but if one thing goes incorrect I'll make an additional evaluation but so far all is wonderful.

Not extremely loud. Not very complicated.Delivers extra RAM cooling as stated.Looks nice in the case (blue LEDs)Does not extend laterally past the edge of the RAM.Fit is neither too loose nor too tight.I suggest this if you run 6 sticks of RAM. None. Currently employing a stock CPU cooler, but with upgrade to a Corsair H70, the Turbulence II leaves plenty of room on the MOBO for air flow and visual inspection of other components even though directing a nice amount of cool air onto the RAM.Cooler Master Storm SniperCorsair HX-750w modularAsus Sabertooth x58i7 950 Bloomfield three.06GHz*Corsair H70 CPU coolerG-Skill 6x2gb (F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ)*G-Skill Turbulence II RAM cooler (this cooler)WD Caviar Black 640GB SATA-III HDASUS Black DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS MSI N460GTX Cyclone GeForce GTX 460 Windows 7 Residence Premium 64ASUS VH238H 23" 1080P LCD Monitor

none! complete junk dos not clip on at all just kinda hangs there! dos not cool quite well at all! fans dont move much air and it sits about 4 inches away from the memory. low-cost junk wont make that mistake once more! please dont waste your cash invest a couple additional bucks! Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the memory cooler. We are aware that is does not mount firmly on some motherboards with memory slot clips on 1 side only, so we will make the appropriate adjustments in the future. The memory cooler is tall to accomodate big size heat spreaders, but even if you have a low profile heatspreader, it will still cool really well. With two fans at three,500RPM, it will surely lower memory temperatures by pushing air out of this heat concentrated area. 1. It assists move a bit a lot more air over your ram than with out2. Straightforward clip and go out of the boxthree. Has superior room for RAM with big heat spreaders4. Looks nice 1. Horrible mounting2. Only alternative is a MOLEX connector for power The mount clips directly to the RAM clips on your board, with a small foam backing. The metal is so soft even if you bend them in, you won't get a lot of pressure to hold it in place. The main dilemma is the RAM clip bracket is too significant for most motherboard's clips causing it to be far too unstable. Be cautious about moving your case with it installed, or you might locate it cooling one thing other than your RAM. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerGlad to hear the memory cooler is working in your method. We are conscious of the problems this fan may possibly have on some motherboards. We will make the corrections in future revisions to solve these troubles. If you have any further questions or issues, please really feel totally free to contact us directly.
