Comment:
Rapidly virgin-tight timings. Runs at rated settings. For the memory: None. For NewEgg: Really disappointed to see this high-priced memory arrive in just a normal bubble mailer with no additional padding. Booooo. This is the 1st below-packaged product I've received in the 7 years of being a loyal client on here. This is my 3rd unique set of G.Ability memory and I couldn't be happier. Under no circumstances had a problem with any of their ram modules.Popped this into my Asus Rampage III Formula motherboard, selected the "XMP Memory Profile" in the bios, dropped the voltage down to 1.6v and it runs like a charm.

Runs specs at recommend voltage, 1.6v. Asus Premium identified it perfectly with XMS profile and adjusted to 1.6v, 1600 and 6-8-6-20. The 1.6v is a true plus. I pumped it up to 1.64v and was in a position to get 1750 and 6-8-6-20. Scores a 7.9 in windows expertise score. Runs cool to the touch.Look cool. Somewhat tall, wasn't an situation for me but if you're operating a V10 or one thing it could be a problem. These are excellent units, they are stable under memtest for 10hrs at the 1750. I could likely push them further, but there is no want atm. I've applied all the significant brands: corsair, mushkin, ocz, etc. And these are my favorite so far. I've really gained a lot of respect and self-confidence in the G-Skill name.

Amazing timings that are advertised, fantastic speed, good heat spreaders, great packaging and shipping, decent price tag However, when i received my memory and installed almost everything it set itself at 9-9-9-24 @ a different voltageWhen i went in to the BIOS and set it at 6-8-6-20 and the appropriate, advertised voltage, i got a DRAMATIC reduce in performance of the process just when navigating the basic Windows 7 UI.Attempting a couple of distinct issues but as i've owned G. Ability memory just before and in no way had troubles this genuinely sucks to pay added and not get what's advertised. Test your RAM when you 1st get it, if it has these errors probly ought to RMA it. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe are sorry to hear you are obtaining troubles operating your memory to specification. With the DRAM frequency, timings, and voltage input in BIOS, the process really should be stable. If it is slightly unstable, you may well need to raise the memory controller voltage to stabilize the memory. Not all CPUs will be completely capable of this memory natively, so additional tweaks may well be essential. Speedy and reliable. I had to put settings in the BIOS. Not the greatest value (speed/$) Virtually worth the $ over cas latency 7, but not rather :)The brand is outstanding, and I've had no problems. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill buy and evaluation. We are sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with this memory kit. This is our lowest latency DDR3-1600 kit, so it ought to give extremely excellent outcomes. Sure the CL7 kit is comparable, but it is no CL6. The tad added gain in efficiency is what makes this kit slightly additional high-priced.You bought the greatest, so you can't go wrong. Some other companies could not even supply this specification, but you know G.Skill, we provide the ideal hardware to share with our users.Thank youGSKILL AssistanceTop quality and client service are our leading priorities.Tech Support Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Good searching kit. Worked, no complications at XMP speeds.Genuinely could not make up my mind between this and Corsair, Mushkin and Patriot. This has turned out quite well. I have bought G.Skill before. I am really pleased with obtain. When I tried removing very first stick from vendor plastic packaging the heatspreader began to come off/apart by separating the two halfs. Did not come off all the way and I pressed the shell back together. Ideal to eliminate from package by End of ram stick not by leading of ram heatsink. I have not overclocked system but: Asus R3F, i7 950. But so far stable and quick.

No difficulties. It's RAM, so errors aren't tolerated, and errors aren't discovered. I definitely can't complain about anything. Haven't had any luck in overclocking this RAM, even with some modest overvolting, even though I am not skilled with overclocking outside of the CPU. Make certain to set XMP, then every thing need to work fine.

6-8-6 timings For The Win.Works fine in ASUS Rampage III Gene.Heat spreaders don't extend past the ends of the stick so they most likely won't interfere with motherboard heatsinks. none I want much more G.Skill merchandise named after mathematical constants / greek letters. Where's the G.Skill lambda?

Cons: Heatsinks are really quite tall.... If that's an issue.

Pros: Fast timingsprice
Comment:
With 6-8-6-20 timings... It seems impossible to beat this ram for the price. I am running this on an ASUS Rampage Extreme III with an i7 OC c 4.0ghz and have not had any problems.
