Let's face it, the RAM looks cool with the jagged, red heat spreaders. Matches my motherboard and red LEDs inside my case so every thing is good and color coordinated. It's DDR3 which is truly great too by the way. One stick is dead :( the other functions properly. Windows ignores the second stick so I'm only running 2GB at the moment. I'm RMAing it which is a total inconvenience but Newegg will make the method painless. Stuff like this takes place with RAM all of the time but I nevertheless gotta deduct an egg. The heatspreaders take up a small bit of space so if you have a large CPU cooler such as an Arctic Cooling 64 Freezer Pro Rev. two, you will have a incredibly snug fit. Fortunately, I have a 4 slot motherboard and use the other two slots. No eggs deducted for this even though. I really took this into consideration just before buying. It performs and was adequate for all my gaming / personal computer requirements (ppt, SC2, Civ5, remote connections). I had no problems on my AsRock Extreme3 mobo. Also, it looks seriously awesome. not as much as a 2x4Gb set I maxed out at ㆈ% usage so I regret not buying a lot more (but most likely will soon)

I've not built a program because ...2006 or so, back when the P4 three.06ghz was HOT with that hyper-threading factor..and the core Duo had JUST hit the market...back then was all DDR purchases. This ram is MANLY fast!! I only wish I knew sufficient about this new timing of ram and mobo setups so I could ascertain if "Auto" is doing greatest, or if I must manually set the ram up myself in mobo.. I'm jleemac1978 on y! mail if any person has enormous experience with this sort of point. None

Just put this in my new rig to replace A-Information ram that went negative immediately after three days. I'm loving the style. Ran some memory tests just to make positive it was fantastic, and every thing gets the clear. Gonna snag up one more set to pump my rig up to 8gb. I dont assume i'll do free shipping again. It came within four business days which was nice, but I assume subsequent time I will just spend yet another Ů and get it subsequent day. Whenever i turn this computer system on...it screams BEAST MODE!! i dig it.

It works and powers up my machine The efficiency of this ram seriously blows. See beneath for comparison. If you personal an AM3 and want to overclock smoothly get the Gskill ripjaw series F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM I ran my 965BE @ 4Ghz smoothly with that memory with running 7-9-7-24..Lower latency is nice. Even although it claims the above ram to be created for Intel it runs Great with AMD....Spend the additional 15 bucks and get the a single talked about above if you plan to overclock or want superior efficiency, period. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the efficiency of this memory. This is regular DDR3-1333 CL9 memory, so of course efficiency outcomes are not the greatest. The CL7 memory, especially at a greater frequency, will be significantly far better than this kit. If you will need performance/gaming memory, low latency is vital. This kit is for the basic personal computer user, surfing the internet, word processing, and such tasks. Affordable. Looks good. Asus P8H67-M EVO would not POST with this memory even although it is on QVL list. My prior set of GSkill worked fine. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe are sorry to hear the memory did not operate appropriately. When faced with this situation, test every single module individually to confirm it is a memory concern. The likelihood of two totally defective modules is slim, in that case, it is possible that yet another piece of hardware is defective causing the difficulty. Please send the memory in for RMA to see if a new kit operates much better. Inserted the ram into my Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H and it functions great! For the other reviews, I am assured that Gskill has good buyer service if I ever have a issue, and the ram has a lifetime guarantee. The red heatsinks on the ram appear wonderful, even installed in my blue motherboard. BIOS shows it running @ 1333 speed with all correct timings. None. I want one more set to make it 8GB lol. Genuinely great stuff, if it functions. I am nonetheless a fan of G.skill and will obtain again. a single of the sticks had complications suitable out of the box. It would show up in Windows , but not stable immediately after any quantity of time. Memtest located a lot wrong with it. This is not a negative feedback for Newegg, But for the item , And i must also say that I use G.skill often and this is my very first negative experience. I am Rma by means of Newegg ( because its less complicated then going to G.ability ) and I have faith that the new memory will work fine. So far so excellent. I was hesitant to buy these at initially due to the fact I'm an old school type of guy who only knew Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial. I went with a pair of Patriot G series Sector 5s, but had to return mainly because of incompatibilty. So went with these soon after and so far they function wonderful! The heatsyncs are sick, back in my day we didnt' have heatsyncs on RAM (or not that I knew of). They look alot far better than what you see on-line, the heatsyncs are glossy and much bolder. DHL shipping is really confusing (Newegg Saver). They have two different tracking sites, 1 for package tracking and 1 for mail tracking. These were mail tracking, which then goes to USPS before it gets to you. Nonetheless got to me in three days since NEWEGG is Great. This is my very first time placing a computer system together and I adore it! I suggest anyone who likes computing to do it! I'm definitely not tech savvy, but it was a lot of entertaining researching and choosing out the pieces that I wanted!ASUS M4A88M-TAMD Phenom II x2 555 BEPNY Verto GeForce GT 240 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 G.Ability Ripjaws 4 GB DDR3 1333Windows 7 64 BitLOGISYS Computer system Area 51 with 480w PSSamsung Spinpoint F3 500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache

Quite very good and rapidly ram. I am a gamer but also an IT skilled so I run a couple of virtual servers to study from. I started of with 4gb of this ram and soon after the amazing performance it offers I discovered it is not sufficient to get decent efficiency in vm servers. I just ordered yet another four gb and I will hopefully be in a position to get a lot more overall performance by doubling it up. Nothing Get this ram. It is inexpensive, quickly, trustworthy.

Pros:Stable. Overclocks fairly well. Good aggressive look

I've had this for at least 7 months and installed on my first X6 build (1055T) on a mid-range Gigabyte board. Both the processor and motherboard o'cd fairly well. Both the memory and processor have been running at default voltage and slighlt oc'd. The processor from a base 2.8 to 3.5 on air cooling and the memory at 1600 levels. I've got 4 sticks (2 pairs of this for a total of 8GB) - at the time I figured 4GB would have been good enough and I only got 8GB since I wanted to populate all the ram banks. System has been running stable 24/7 as a media pc ever since. No problems or hiccups. I know that the X6 is prob overkill for an HTPC that sees very little use aside for occ internet browsing and some documents but at the date of purchase, I wanted to build a more futureproof media computer that would be able to handle whatever in the next couple of years. Personally, they are not as "well looking" as the ripjaw X versions but they perform quite well. In fact, they seemed to have more o'cing headroom at 1333 compared to the 1600 X's. For an absolute budget build requiring only 4GB, these ones fit the bill

it operates with most boards...i saw a lot of individuals saying they utilised this ram in their builds ( and a lot of them build outside their motherboards "supported" list) so i did it also with the asrock N68C-S UCC board, i had to set the frequency and timings myself, but i was pretty considerably ready for that, thanks to reviews. they cant essentially be employed to cut stuff, i have a tree i figured could go down well..... to the guy asking if his board will recognize additional ram. If you already have 4 gigs of ram, and you want to install additional, youl need a 64 bit OS to be in a position to make use of it, i produced the mistake of acquiring 8 gigs, and im only making use of three.25 of it, im using XP, but i heard 7 has the same challenge. if you want additional than four you will need a 64 bit OS
