G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
Comment:
Bought three sets of this new X and two sets of the old Ripjaws. Awesome RAM. 1333mhz is not an OC speed so no changing bios timings. Tall heatsinks can get in the way. Not a difficulty for me Not "made" for p67, everything about this ram is the very same as ahead of and will operate on any supporting DDR3 1333mhz mobo. Dont let that advertisement sway you a single way or a different.

Comment:
I purchased this pair of sticks as part of a quiet, power effective, low-price construct with an Intel H61 motherboard and an Intel i3 2100-T ࿃ watt) processor. Wonderful item. The board fired up suitable away. I haven't felt the will need to overclock or adjust the timings, so I can\'t comment on those aspects. None.

Fantastic for Sandy Bridge CPU'sRuns at specs Heat Sinks are high. If you have a modest motherboard with a massive heatsink that overhangs above the ram slots check the clearance.

Don't personal them yet, but I truly seriously want them... height? Does anybody know if these will fit underneath a Corsair A50 heatsink? I have looked and looked, but I just don't know. The heatsink extends more than the two dimm slots for the MB. Anybody know the actual height? Sorry to ask right here, but I don't know where else to turn. BTW, MB is a Gigabyte 890gaFXa

Worked flawlessly. Immediately recognized. Looks really very good and great cost onsale. I didn't genuinely notice a big jump in windows performance score over the original 3GB.

G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
Cons:I couldn't get these to actually run properly at 1.5 Volts. System performance plumetted at that voltage level. This was only after I had tried to manually set the voltage to 1.5 volts. My motherboard originally automatically set the voltage at 1.6, and it always worked fine at this setting (and they are supposed to be able to run at this voltage, so it doesn't void the warranty or anything, so that's good). My motherboard is a Gigabyte GMA-UD3H (or is it UD2H?) rev 2.1, using the 880G Chipset and SB 850 (I think), in case you were wondering.

Pros:They work just fine. I've been doing a lot of gaming with integrated graphics (TF2 mostly). I also was running some demanding games later on with a good graphics card. I had no problems. These are rated to run at higher voltages without voiding the warranty. Great value considering there is a great warranty and Gskill has a good reputation for reliability. I guess they look pretty cool (but who cares really?).
Comment:
Good value for basic memory. I would not trust anything which has an inferior warranty to these, given these are already inexpensive.

I got two sets for my new desktop (an AMD rig) and they function fantastic (and appear spiffy to boot)! Applications load amazingly quickly and I am really satisfied. None to speak of. I wish my motherboard had much more RAM slots; I'd get much more.

Superior ram even on amd sets.oc's to 1800 mhz8 gb ram for affordable.compatible with ripjaws original series. not so much a con but if you are running anything over 1333 mhz you have to manually set the timings. I figured some thing like this may occur considering that these are created to be 1333 and not 1600 mhz. So its surely not worth knocking an egg. I just got these these days and plugged them in windows booted fine recognized them fine alongside my 4gb 2x2gb f3 12800 ripjaws. I had them oc to 1600 mhz originally and as soon as i began a game it would crash. I opened cpu-z and noticed the timings altered from a cl of 9 to a cl of 11. i went in and manually changed the cl to 9 and every little thing worked perfectly. I was able to even get them stable alongside those at 1866 mhz oc on my board.rather of running these at the oc rate given that anything over 1333 mhz actually isnt so substantially noticeable unless you paid 500 bucks for your ram with a cl of five i went ahead and left them at 1333 mhz and have them at a cl 7 completely stable.

2 great critiques. I have 24GB G.Skill memory and asked their tech. if I could acquire two of these for back-up in case a stick went negative or was DOA, right here's his reply:"Even same exact model memory could have troubles with each other, so only via testing can you decide compatibility." So no help from them about compatibility. I guess they anticipate consumer to obtain then test and hope. I assume either their know-how or quality manage is poor or each. If 1 stick goes bad I don't want to have to replace all six. Don't expect excellent friendly assistance. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerIf you are seeking for a guaranteed 24GB kit, you will need to have to obtain the G.Skill F3-10666CL9T2-24GBRL. We do not suggest mixing memory even of the identical exact model. With dual and triple channel motherboards, the memory should be match tested for full compatibility. If you do not purchase a total kit, then you risk the possibility of having unmatched kits that are unable to function together. I'm not fond of ram that have heat spreaders that are significantly taller than the stand height for DDR3, but this has preformed well and didn't block anything.

Its good ram, straightforward on the pocket book and functions amazing with 1155 Intel Socket MoBo. Heat work wonderful and appear cool. Im only say that due to the fact, it is good when one thing just functions and is aesthetically pleasing. It's ram it either works or it doesn't

Would have preferred the 1600Mhz as that appears to be the greatest performer per buck on sandy bridge but really pleased with this memory. No issues at all with installation and scores a 7.8 in Windows 7 Experience Index straight out of the box. None

Boot up no dilemma. full read on the specs and identified with no issues. Sexy red heat sinks actually make your computer shine if you have a clear side view. none. The heat sinks on this thing is so cool. If they were DOA i prob could have applied them for a letter opener.

Fast. Snazzy look. Compatible. On the Asus QVL. Completely absolutely nothing. I have often used Corsair memory mainly because of its leading notch specs and high compatibility. This memory was on Asus' QVL for the new intel sandy bridge chipsets and far more affordable than comparable Corsair. So I went for it. Very good STUFF. The other evaluation about incompatibility is pure speculation about product support. Tech support in this day is extremely subjective and if you know what you're doing and what program to put this memory into, it will surely please you with its efficiency.

I haven't been able to test it considerably, seeing as I've only had it for a few days. But so far, this RAM has changed my method incredibly. It's amazingly quick, I don't run into any more stutters. I play a lot of Starcraft two and it used to stutter when I would load maps, get started the game, and exit the game. Now I get none of those. I would surely recommend this RAM specially when you can get it for ๖ (at least I did).It also looks pretty sweet, superior than my old OCZ Gold's. Nothing so far, I haven't checked to see how considerably it heats up when I play games but I'm certain it can't be too poor.
