I'm fairly confident I can increase the memory voltage and get the listed timing, but it is not quite as rapidly as advertised out of the box so can't give it total points. This RAM kit functions perfectly according to it's advertised specs. It functions tight timings, requires low voltage, looks good, and was straightforward to configure in the bios, in spite of not getting listed as officially supported by Asus for my board. Dropped it into an AM3 board and soon after altering the auto settings to eight-8-8-24, ran it by means of memtest fine. Just slightly curious as to why upgrading to this from a 9-9-9-27 3x2gb ddr3-1600 set dropped my WEI score from 7.6 to 7.five

Operates best in my Asus Sabertooth P67 Board (Bios 1305) with my I7 2600k. There was no will need to use memok. This is somme really cool looking RAM and thoses sticks are really good. Timing are good and all is great. No problems so far.The only bad thing is that i had to really force them to enter the RAM location.Price is a litle high but this is worth the price I think.

Installed 16 gigs in an ASUS M4A87TD EVO motherboard, powered up, and was off and operating. Was recognized suitable away, at appropriate timings with no manually inputting settings in BIOS or working with mem OK.They are not red. Newegg gets the credit here! I caught a shell-shocker deal on these for $ƀ.99! RAM is quickly with no any bios tweaks. Installed in a ASUS P8P67 and saw WEI for RAM 7.9! I always hated that Fridays doesn't follow Mondays but it would be asking too much for this RAM to fix that.

I installed these sticks on my new Asus motherboard and everything works properly. The BIOS knows exactly what memory this is and it's automatically operating at 1600mhz. I didn't have to push any funny buttons, no tweaking, it just works! This is the 4th G.Skill memory kit I've purchased and I've by no means had a issue with this brand. This memory isn't on the P67 WS Revolution QVL list. I took a leap of faith when I bought this memory. When I bought this memory there wasn't much else in stock. If you want to get personal computer parts then you want to do it for the duration of the middle of the week. The memory scores a 7.9 in the WEI. I locate this to be strange simply because with the old core i7 900 series I could by no means get the memory score past 7.8 with overclocking.

Matches my ASUS Pro! Exactly what I wanted. Popped the points in, and never looked back! I bought these for a construct that had a Antec 901 and a Silver Arrow, but they did not fit. No worries although, replaced the Silver Arrow with a H50 just because I did not want to send the Ram back soon after receiving Overnight shipping. Cost.

Trying g skill again after ballistix junk failed on me repeatably.These thinkgs seems great so far. Better and Cheaper then corsairs or mushkins. Well, when there on sale.In a i2500k & asusz68-v pro setup.Just took out my e8400 and mobo out and dropped this ram and mobo and cpu in on win7 64bit. And a simple reboot.Overclocked with the auto tool to 4.3ghz and ram is running prefect at 1600mhz at 8-8-8-24 and 1.5volts.

looks coolstock high speed 1600MHztight timing C8low voltage 1.5vquite stable not actually a con, but they don't overclock effectively on sandybridge method. sandybridge don't overclock the bclk a great deal. so the ram speed can only be set to around either 1600mhz or 1866mhz. at stock frequncy of 1600mhz, this ram can\'t go lower on the timing at all. at 1866mhz, timing requirements to be set at 9-11-9-28-two to be somewhat stable. my previous red ripjaws (about ฮ less costly than this set) can overclock greater. Purchased this 2x4 kit about a month ago for my new sandy bridge build; so far things have been great and not to mention that they fit perfectly fine under a Noctua NH D14 cooler without any worries of clearance if you decide to pair the both of these together.
