Utilised in quite a few builds (i personal a modest computer system repair and construct shop) normally working with gigabyte boards I've purchased over 20 sticks in the final 6 mo. its generally proved to be stable and dependable plus the reality that its economical and fantastic seeking none This is why i buy g-skill I've only had 1 go negative out of more than 20 sticks and they were incredibly fantastic about rma'ing it no queries to speak of no dilemma they just replaced it and following dealing with other vendors about problem hardware that was a good factor and thats why I'm recommending this brand

Ideal WEI. Not a con, but I hope this RAM continues to perform flawlessly when Intel determines the fate of my 2500k Sandy Bridge/ASUS P67 Pro hardware. It'd be a cryin shame if such a great deal right here had to go to waste, but I suspect this RAM will fit whatever those new specs are.One more NON-CON, is that the RAM red light comes on from time to time, but I fully suspect that's just mainly because the motherboard is loaded with flaws. I have no concept why you'd purchase far more expensive RAM.

Worked out of the package on an Asus P5G41C-M LX. You read proper. That's the board with a 775 socket and either DDR2 or DDR3 slots. Whoopee! It came up running 7-6-6-19-T1. Just for fun auto-oc'd 10% and no issues. Under no circumstances discovered a single with G.Skill ram. Acquiring this ram was taking a chance it would function though attempting to step toward a worthwhile upgrade with ram that would go the distance. I also wanted to see with the similar hardware how substantially difference DDR3 ram would make. For the old timers like me who are quite pleased with older tech that does what you want smoothly ... go for it. It's sporty!

Installed in an ASUS Sabertooth P67 moboNo difficulties with compatibility, slapped these suckers in and was very good to go. For those who aren't incredibly tech savvy, these are prepared and stable out the box. For those who purchased and setup an ASUS Sabertooth P67, although this wasn't listed in their QVL, this memory IS compatible with your mobo. They weren't cost-free? It was packaged well, works flawlessly out of the box and looks fairly superior. Had a little difficulty fitting with a Scythe Mugen rev two cooler, but just had to move the fan on the cooler higher. None whatsoever Make certain you install the ram initially just before putting the fan on your cooler, otherwise you have to take everything off to install the ram.

These are great. Initially had trouble fitting these with my massive cooler(Noctua NH-D14) but ended up getting it to fit nice and tight.

Fantastic, stable RAM. OC'd some, and they continued to function excellent with my P67 and i5 2500k. Good RAM esp for the price. none Installed on my ASrock Extreme4 P67 Mobo and it functions fantastic. The heatsinks seem to function properly too. I will OC far more in the future, and from what I've seen so far, these will OC additional than enough for the average user.

1st time purchasing G.Skill, figured I'd give them a shot. Each DIMMs checked out superior, almost everything looks compatible and my system is quick and stable. I like the heat sink style. Excellent price, I would buy from them again. None For those interested, I'm using a pair of these in a GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD5-B3 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128479), so they're compatible.

Operating great right out of the box at 1600mhz. All 4 sticks work, none defective. Nothing. CPUZ will tell DRAM frequency at 𞽐mhz. It's the correct spec for a ram at 1600mhz.

I have these paired with the 2x4GB sticks, and they all work flawlessly at 1600MHz. Havent tried to overclock them yet, but damn they look GOOD ;)

I have had this RAM's older cousin, the 8GB non-X version for about 9 months now and it's amazing. This RAM runs just as well, I haven't had time to test if it runs better. At such an insanely low price, it's well worth the money. As far as I can remember, this RAM is the same price as the non-X version, so you might as well get this. Good Price, good rapidly memory. Ugy orange color, thank Goodness my case is closed. it shows up as 1333 memory in the Gigabytr ET6 utility, but 1600 in the bios. not enough of a problem to give much less of a score. wish I could have had a choice of color on the heatsinks, that orange anodized aluminum os an eyesore.

I have 4 of these in my rig and it works flawlessly. I'm running a i7-870 on an MSI P55A-G55 I bought here as well. I highly doubt you can find faster, more reliable DD3 memory for that price.

i got these for a build and they are whats holding the oc back. a little dissapointed in them but for what you pay its a great value. they hold at 1600 mhz for me but nto a single bit more. tried loosening timings nothing. but over all i recommend them

I Bought this for an AMD 955 build. The price I paid for these was superb and the performance was excellent. They also look awesome and go well with the rest of my build. I wouldn't hesitate buying memory from G.SKILL again in the future.

I'm using this at CL8-8-8-21, 1333MHz with a Phenom II x4 955 and a Gigabyte 870A-UD3. No issues so far. At the time the two sticks cost me about $35. Can't complain!

Cool looking heat dissipaters I guess. They worked out of the box on a ASUS P8P67 mobo. Got it at $47.99 so good deal.
