Very comfortable and reliable. The only thing I am not very impressed by is the battery life. But thats not a deal breaker for me. Would buy again, and definitely recommend.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: - Price!

Pros: - Best gaming mouse ever!- Plenty of buttons- Support both wireless and wired modes- Highly customizable
Comment:
I have always been a fan of Logitech's mouses and this one is their best so far. I have been using a MX revolution for 2 years and really liked the shape. The G700 shape is similar to the MX revolution but with much more buttons. This mouse makes a good difference for FPS games. Highly recommended!

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: low battery life, almost TO high DPI

Pros: Very high DPI, good grip, comfortable, extra buttons are super handy
Comment:
I love this mouse. Its a bit larger, which is perfect, as I have large hands. Some people complain that it does not have a rubberized grip, but I find the textured plastic to offer superior handling. The single AA battery does mean that the mouse only lasts roughly 2-3 days of moderate use, but you can swap batteries and change at a later date (you can hook up the USB cord and use it as a corded mouse, but I find it very annoying.)Overall, LOVE this mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: Buttons are somewhat awkwardly placed. Expensive.

Pros: Plenty of buttonsOption wired vs wireless
Comment:
Bought this to replace my worthy MX1000 that pleased me for so many years with uberOptions. The shape is about the same but the position of the buttons took me a while to get used to. I still press the wrong thump button once in a while. On the plus side, I really appreciate the possibility to plug the wire. This mouse is much more responsive then my MX1000 this way. It's day and night.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: - expensive- buttons doesn't requires much force to press

Pros: - Wireless AND wired- comes with an AA eneloop battery- lots of button- dual scroll wheel mode- very high and adjustable DPI (up to 5700)- very high and adjustable report rate (up to 1000)- adjustable wireless power mode- charge while using wired usb- storage space in the mouse for wireless receiver- store up to 5 profiles on mouse
Comment:
This is an amazing mouse.Wireless mode is amazing and I don't notice any lag or studder. You can change the power mode so that it won't sleep and always be responsive (game mode) or have it sleep more often and use less power (power saving mode). It comes with AA eneloop battery which is amazing. If the batter dies you can replace it with another one and still be able to use the USB to recharge. You can store up to 5 profiles on the mouse so if you go to a LAN and bring your mouse you just need to plug it in and all of your profiles are there. Don't need to install driver on the other computer (you do however need the driver/software on your computer to set and edit profiles). When you open the battery cover there's a small slot for you to store the wireless receiver which makes travelling with the mouse a little easier (don't have to worry about losing it in transport)When the battery is low or there's too much interference around you you can just plug in the USB and it will be pretty much the same as a wired mouse. This will also charge the battery so you will have zero down time if the battery is low.The USB is also just a normal USB to microUSB so if you lose it or want an extra one or a longer one you just go out and buy your own and it will work. The one that comes with the mouse is pretty long. On the microUSB side it's shaped slightly differently so that it fits perfectly in the mouse slot (for aesthetic). If you use your own microUSB cable then there will just be gaps. This mouse goes up to 5700 DPI and you can have up to 5 preset DPI level per profile.Reporting rate can go up to 1000 reports/secondThe scroll wheel has two mode that can be changed with a button on the mouse. One mode is the normal scroll with clicks and the other is smooth mode where you can flick the scroll wheel and it will keep spinning.Only down side I can see with this mouse is the extra buttons doesn't requires much force to press and you don't have to press far for it to click too so it can lead to some accidentally clicks. The mouse is a bit expensive but I think it's really worth it (when it's on sale).I usually don't give 5 stars but I think this mouse deserves it.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: - While the USB cable is proprietary, I've never worn out a mouse cord, so I don't imagine it be an issue.- The scroll wheel has Left and Right Tilt which can be programmed for games, but can be sensitive if you're trying to middle-click. I don't know what Logitech could do about that in future designs, but they tried to reduce it here by making the mouse wheel have a rubber-grip and flattened surface. It's an improvement over the angled surface of the old MX610, but I wish it didn't happen at all.

Pros: If you owned and loved the Logitech MX610, the G700 is the near-perfect spiritual successor. It has an extremely similar design but with improvements in every aspect. - Buttons! Every one of 11 buttons (13 if you count Left and Right click) can be programmed to your heart's desire and can even press keystrokes if your game doesn't support that many.- Tired of running out of batteries? No longer! You can use this mouse corded or wireless, and it will charge the included Sanyo Eneloop AA battery when plugged in. The old SetPoint low battery nag screen can even be disabled.- Familiar and very comfortable shape. Even the buttons are all uniquely shaped to keep your fingers oriented.- The wireless transceiver is extremely small and can be stored inside the mouse's battery compartment.- The MX610's silver paint that can wear off? Gone! This mouse has a textured, non-glossy black plastic.- Awkward, non-programmable IM/Email buttons? Replaced with two additional, fully-programmable buttons for a total of four thumb buttons.- Fantastic and regularly updated software.
Comment:
For a long time, I waited for an upgrade to my MX610. The G700 is that mouse and it is damn near perfect. I recommend it to anyone looking for an MMO mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: The software customization is a little goofy and non-intuitive. Could use some attention to details. Would be nice to have battery last longer per charge...but oh well, I will adapt:)

Pros: Very nice mouse. It has all I could ask for and more. Feels firm and weighty...in a good way. My first cordless. They really have done amazing things with acceleration.
Comment:
Big step up from my similar shaped, 4button, worn and grungy 6/7 year old logitech mouse...that still works fine.Don't buy a razer is my suggestion...logitech just does a better job. Though one thing razer has right is the led lighting...I wish the g700 had some, it's like batman in the dark, just not very visible!

Cons: Some buttons are too closed together.

Pros: Good gaming mouse, a lot of buttons
Comment:
This is a very good gaming mouse. I upgrade from a Logitech MX Performance, and they are similar size. So it feels very good. The battery life is not very good. I do 2 hours gaming every day and the battery could last only 3 to 5 days.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: -Heavy, big-Stiff charging cable-Useless battery indicator-Macro buttons not very tactile, DPI/battery buttons very stiff as well-Setpoint mucks with mouse acceleration

Pros: -Heavy, big-Great tracking-Lots of macro buttons-High DPI-Application detection-Very small dongle-Wireless
Comment:
Simply put, like any high-end product, this one comes with a few compromises. There are some features that seem poorly thought out, which I listed above. However, for your money, you get a great gaming mouse- only one of two I know of that's actually wireless (the other being the Orochi). And let's face it: that one's small, and BlueTooth is terrible for gaming.

Cons: Charging cable a bit heavy/stiff for corded useA touch expensive

Pros: Trusted brandDurable
Comment:
Overall a very nice unit. Has that signature Logitech feel. Lots of buttons in good places, one small gripe is that the thumb buttons could be a bit further forward. I think Logitech is trying to make a point with this mouse that there is no penalty for gaming with a wireless mouse, and because of the agressive settings it can be needing a charge more often than some wireless mice. It does come with a Sanyo eneloop installed for a battery which seem to be the best for longevity I have found.

Pros: Lots of Customizable buttonsDifferent Customizable ProfilesHigh DpiHigh Reports per secondComfortablePlug and PlayWireless and/or plugged works perfectlyUses AA battery, comes with Eneloop rechargeable battery
Comment:
The Good:I bought this Mouse so I can use my mx revolution for my laptop gaming and use this for my desktop gaming and I must say, it works really nicely. It is very comfortable, it's buttons are customizable to the max and I like the rubber that comes with it. It really does do its job very nicely. The bad:The battery is the main issue for me. My mx revolution can last 2 weeks + without any recharging but this doesn't seem to last a week in max performance mode. I don't like how they got rid of the thumb scroll from the Revolution and replaced it with 2 buttons. The thumb scroll can be counted as 3 buttons and yes, this is not exactly much of a bad thing consider the G700 still has more buttons around it but here is thing. On the mx, the thumb scroll for me was volume up, down and mute and the forward button was switch weapon and the back was knife and on the G700 i will have to switch the mute button onto something else which if you used the revolution, u would know how it feels. Another, and this is the biggest complient is that, on the mx rev, if you pressed the scroll wheel, it would click to fast scrolling or slow scrolling. But on the G700, it uses a different button for it. Now thats not a bad thing if the button was customizable but it isn't. It seems like a waste of a button to make it not be customizable. My final complaint is the setpoint on mx revolution doesn't work with the G700 which to me was trouble some at first cause the instructions said that I need to download setpoint but I already have setpoint installed. It apperently uses a different setpoint for it which is confusing at first to a logitech mice owner cause it never says that it uses a different setpoint. Still giving it 4 stars cause all the complaints can be solved one way or another apart from the battery of course.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: - A bit hard to left click for short stubby finger people

Pros: - Blutooth wireless actually works without lag- Comes nano receiver- Lots of button customization with SetPoint- Comes with 1 pre-charged Eneloop battery- Uses AA battery- Solid cable (someone said it was bad to play games with but I had no problem with it)- Solid built- Comfortable grip- Quick mechanical button to switch b/w smooth or click scrolling
Comment:
After a year of d!cking around with a laptop sized Razer Mamba (which the wireless works poorly; and didn't come with a receiver), I switched to good'o Logitech. Lots of strong point and few weak. I have smaller hands and at first, I thought the mouse might be a bit too big but it actually fits nicely. The bonus was, it was on sale for $80.If you're looking for a mouse (wired or wireless), go for this one! This review was modfied by poster @ 02-13-11 08:00 PM

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: usb recharging cable is too heavy, poor grip, no mac support

Pros: macro keys, comfortable, good wireless signal, looks nice
Comment:
I really like my g700 but i'm also disappointed at the usb charging cable. The cable feels heavy and its poorly designed for a gaming mouse. The only time I will ever use this mouse is when it is fully charged, I dont think I will be able to do any gaming with the usb charging cable attached to the mouse. I also thought it would be nice for the g700 to have more grip. The grip feels like nothing compare to logitech g9x mouse. Other than the cable and grip, this mouse is excellent. It looks nice and feels comfortable. The macro keys are placed perfectly and I don't have any trouble pressing any of the keys. Overall I think g700 is a great mouse but not a perfect mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: - only takes 1 AA battery, short battery life -> get about 6 hours of hard core gaming on a charge -> just need to make sure it's plugged in when not gaming

Pros: - great ergonomics- good button placement- easy to use configuration app -> great macro editing- great tracking- good feel in hand (I have larger hands)- can charge battery while using mouse- on the fly DPI switching
Comment:
Awesome mouse! The best mouse I've ever owned (I currently have the G700, Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 and Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse). The Microsoft BlueTrack on the other mouses work great. They track really well but I find it can be to sensitive in the fact that little movements can go far across the screen (jump). Easily fixed by lowering sensitivity on the OS. However in comparison to the G700 tracking, it can't compete. The G700 is just to good. I use it on a light colored wood grained desk. While the MS mouses work well it can sometimes jump but the G700 is always silky smooth. Add to the fact that if the sensitivity is to high you can simply turn it down on the fly on the mouse. Great when you need precises movements now and not in a min.The mouse has 13 configurable buttons which can all be macro'd though the provided S/W, which is super easy to use. Each button is well placed and easily accessible.Another huge plus to this mouse is the fact that you can use it while it's charging. It has a cord that connects to the front of it so it functions like a normal wired mouse, the connection even uses the USB so it turns off wireless when plugged in to charge faster. When you unplug it, it auto syncs back to the wireless dongle. There's only a half second hiccup before it works again (you can't even tell it's switched)All in all I'm really happy with this mouse even if it was really expensive. If you're going to spend upwards of $1800 on a performance computer why would you skimp on the device that actually lets you interface with it?

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons: Tracking is less than optimal, in both wired and wireless mode there is a 'breaking through the barrier' kind of feeling on slow or minor movements. Wired mode is much better than wireless, but the tracking issue shows up from time to time.

Pros: Great number of buttons, all easily reachedFree scrolling wheelAA Battery Recharging built in
Comment:
Bought this mouse looking to replace my worn out 1800dpi Deathadder... Was very disappointed. The ergonomics were better, but not great. The added buttons are a plus, they were all well placed and easy to reach for me. But when it came to tracking performance, my Deathadder proved to be the superior mouse.I found that with short or slow movements you can encounter what I'd call a 'breaking through a barrier' feeling, trying to get the cursor to move exactly where you want it to go. Logitech is working on the tracking issues via software updates, but it's been a while and I don't really have the patience to wait for them to fix a 140 (all told) dollar mouse.I give the mouse 2 stars simply because a mouse of this price has no excuse at all to come out of the box with tracking problems.I'm returning my G700 and buying an Ikari Laser.

Love this mouse, it's replacing my G500 and it has way more button. They did the wireless the right way, the laser eye is still in the middle of the mouse instead of the side like most wireless mouse. Perfect for WoW and CoD Black Ops.
