G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Weird grip texture hard plastic. I have a G15 keyboard and have to lock it on a certain profile then do a keystroke then go in game options to use that certain button, which leads me to say most modern games don't support this many buttons on a mouse, and as a casual gamer for years, kinda blows... C'mon games like Bioshock Infinite or Borderlands 2 seem to only support a 4 or 5 button mouse, yes there is a work around with programmable buttons, but its frusterating.....

Pros:Feels great in my under average sized hand(medium). Side scrolling mouse wheel. Tons of buttons. Great software! A very nice upgrade from my old faithful MX518.
Comment:
Even with the programming buttons fiasco, I still love this mouse. I can use a XBOX360 controller and use all the buttons out of the box, why can't I on a gaming mouse? And its not just Logitech, any brand gaming mouse. What really amazed me is the side scrolling wheel, works for everything in windows(if need be). scrolls up and down as well as left to right. Even Windows 8 see it as a G700 and utilizes most of the buttons, which is awesome! But to get them to work in games one has to program everything as keystrokes... Not a huge deal, but such a pain. Its kind of on the heavy side, but not a big deal to me, since I have a 18"x12" gaming surface, so I never find myself lifting it up. I have heard complaints about being hard to lift, but I don't find a problem there and I don't accidently press the thumb G buttons. I wish gaming software companies would have more support for multi button gaming mouses, most likely why even a lot of gaming buttons don't have a lot of buttons. This is as close as it gets to perfect for a casual FPS gamer as myself. I only want to use the WADS and spacebar. And all the buttons on the mouse. Theres a little bit of work involved in getting it up and running on all my games, but once all the options are set, its all good. Its got good wireless range to downstairs for my projector setup, but mostly I keep it wired on my computer upstairs. If one had to, buying a couple extra rechargeable enelopes would work fine too. Logitech took forever to support Windows 8, but they finally did, and it works great.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:- The physical mouse itself cannot be adjusted (weights, grips, etc.)

Pros:- Completely customizable down to every last button- Up to 5700 DPI (You won't need more than that until 4K resolution monitors are more mainstream)- Super comfortable in the right hand (sorry lefties)- Polling rate up to 1000- Battery lasts at least 12 hours in most extreme cases- Easily replaceable battery AA rechargeable- Software is simple and intuitive to use- Profile changes instantly- Small portable USB receiver that can be stored in the mouse- Load profiles onto the mouse- Unlock the scroll wheel for fast scrolling- Left and right scroll- 3 LEDs (Green, orange, or red) relay information without need for a display
Comment:
This is the best mouse I've ever owned. 3 years and it's still going strong. The list is long for describing how good this mouse is and it far outweighs any cons there may be. I keep trying to find a better mouse and every time I fail to do so.

Cons:Usb cable is too big

Pros:ConfortableWireless AND WireWarrantyChangeable battery
Comment:
Love this mouse, it's replacing my G500 and it has way more button. They did the wireless the right way, the laser eye is still in the middle of the mouse instead of the side like most wireless mouse. Perfect for WoW and CoD Black Ops.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:charging cord is a bit stiff.

Pros:Good button layout. Great build quality.
Comment:
Needed to upgrade my MX revolution and was looking at the Razer Mamba or Naga. The Mamba ended up not having enough buttons, and I read poor reviews on the Naga Elite button layout (not being able to easily use each button), so I looked at the G700. I'm really glad as I, as the mouse works perfectly (plugged in or wireless), and the 4 thumb buttons are easily identifiable without looking at the mouse mid game. Great mouse, would buy again!

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:- battery doesn't last long as expected but maybe changing the battery out will help

Pros:- fits perfectly in my hand- wired/wireless mode- DPI adjustment on the fly
Comment:
Logitech has created another great product but my only gripe is that the battery does not last long for moderate gaming so eventually I just left it in wired mode all the time.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Battery doesn't last long on wireless

Pros:Nice Weight (not changeable)Solid Build QualityWired/WirelessFits a palm grip better
Comment:
Purchased this last year and it was great. Has awesome DPI adjustment (on the fly) and the fact that it can be wireless for me to surf the web and wired for me to game was great on its own. The build quality is excellent as you would expect on a Logitech product and it gave me no issues whatsoever. The only downside was the battery life (uses an eneloop).

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:BATTERY LIFE. Of the 4 thumb buttons, the 2 front are hard to reach.

Pros:Lots of buttons. Feels great in the hand.
Comment:
This mouse is pretty great overall. Plenty of buttons, good fit in the hand, the mouse wheel can switch from free spin to click mode. The reason I am giving this mouse 3 stars is battery life. It's THAT bad. Even on battery saving mode, it barely lasts 2 days of minimal usage. In gaming mode while gaming you can drain the battery in 4 hours. Pretty bad. It's powered by 1 AA battery. Logitech should have made it at least 2 AAs.Also, of the 4 thumb buttons, the 2 front are hard to reach easily.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Wireless battery life rather low. Mouse surface texture grip not for everyone.

Pros:Great mouse. Responsive laser and has the ability to operate wirelessly or corded.
Comment:
A pretty decent quality gaming mouse. The adjustability of DPI settings through calibrated profiles on the fly is pretty handly as are the programmable macro buttons on the mouse. The downside is that only 5 mouse buttons are accepted as bindable inputs by default. The other buttons must be programmed as macros through the Logitech mouse utility before they can be used in games or in other applications. The mouse is very responsive and the weight feels good, but the textured grip is a very unique feel, one that isn't likely to suit everyone's tastes. As well, in wireless operation, the battery drains rather rapidly and can go from full power to dead in an extended gaming session.Overall, a good mouse, especially if one can pick it up on sale.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:no adjustable weights

Pros:wired and wireless
Comment:
a fairly decent mouse. loads of customizable buttons/profiles. the weight takes a bit of time to getting used to from a normal mouse. the wired mode does charge the battery, and on battery it does last 2-3 days which is alright for the battery it ships with. feels alright in the hand. only con is the weight isn't customizable for the price of this mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:None

Pros:Build qualityReplaceable batteryBoth wired and wirelessMultiple ProfilesErgonomicResponsive
Comment:
I own an Alienware Tactx (which is essentially a Logitech g9x), logitech mx510, mx1000 and m500. This mouse beats them all. When gaming, I use this mouse wirelessly because it performs just as good as when in wired mode. And like the Tactx, being able to create  different profiles and configure each button to do whatever I like not only improves my gaming stats, but raises my office productivity as well. I also find the G700 more comfortable to use than the Tactx because of my large hands. At first I wasn't sure if using the thumb buttons would feel natural but I've grown to love them. Being able to access 4 different button using my thumb is awesome.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Ergonomic designButtons very sensitivePoor battery lifeExpensive

Pros:Wireless/Wired capabilityRechargeable (replaceable battery)Small USB dongleNice grips (kind of)Adjustable scroll wheelMultiple profiles
Comment:
Okay so I've had mixed feelings about this mouse. Overall, I recommend it to any heavy gamer as it has a lot of versatility with customizable profiles (sooo useful for me as I play many different games!!)First the bad. The grips are nice and all, but it sometimes feels like it could get very sweaty under intense gaming moments, especially where you place your thumb. As well, the ergonomic design leaves my hand/wrist in pain after several uses. This is probably just due to the fact that I am usually a claw gripper, while this mouse has forced me to adapt to the palm grip. This is pretty much required to be able to reach the buttons on this mouse!!Most people would probably replace the stock battery of this mouse anyways, but I must say the battery life is quite poor as well. Now the good. The ability to go from wireless to wired with a simple USB cable is amazing. I keep it wired when plugged into desktop, and just use it wirelessly when I go out with my laptop. This has to be my favorite feature about this mouse.Secondly, I like how the battery is removable and replaceable, which can potentially negate the poor battery life issue.I highly recommend this mouse if you can get a good price match on it. Otherwise, there could be some better alternatives.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Software requires wipe of custom settings after a re-install.Make sure you save your settings to disk and back them up so you can restore them if you ever have to format or uninstall the drivers.

Pros:Good precision, versatility. Can use wired or wireless. Software allows custom mapping of buttons, sensitivity and creation of program-specific profiles.
Comment:
This mouse has all of my desired features and it is now my preferred mouse for gaming. I find competing models have too many tiny thumb buttons. I only need 4 (with keyboard modifiers it's effectively 12) and the ones on this mouse are a more ergonomically satisfying size and shape (for me). Although it's not perfect, I prefer the layout and versatility this mouse provides. There was a technical fault with my left mouse button which gradually became a problem. It would more and more often register single clicks as double clicks as time went by. Eventually I contacted Logitech support and they sent me a free replacement mouse after a short exchange of emails. They didn't even require me to send in the defective mouse! Great service from Logitech!

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Cable is too stiff, thumb button are awkward

Pros:Really Light, good grip, Dual-Mode Scroll Wheel, wireless
Comment:
This mouse is really great. The shape is good and your hand will be fully rested on it. The sensitivity is excellent and the button are big and easy to click. The Dual-Mode scroll Wheel is a nice feature to have, but I don't really use it (for now). The four buttons under the thumb are awkward. They don't make a great "click" when you press on them and they are too close of each other. Also, The cable is really too stiff to be able to play with the mouse connected. They should provide a braided cable instead for a mouse of this type. I hope I will not run low on battery while gaming!Overall, a great gaming mouse, but I personally prefer my R.A.T 9

Cons:More expensive than some mice

Pros:Wireless and Wired, Plenty of Buttons, Comfortable

A great mouse all around, the only real downside is the cost, however if you use your computer a lot, a good mouse is worth the investment. The management software with the mouse is great, plenty of features, everything you would expect from a gaming mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:buttons are kinda cheap

Pros:anything you will ever want in a wireless mouse
Comment:
I bought this to replace my G7 as it was losing connection sometimes. The G7 was great and has served me for 6 years or so. I did a little research then just thought " The G7 was great so the G700 should be even better" Well I was right. This mouse is great. The button mapping was a breeze and the mouse is very responsive. It does everything I want it to do and more.My only complaint is that the buttons are just hard plastic with no texture. I think the G7's buttons were made better. The charging cord is a little thick but it's not an issue for me.If you are looking to replace a G7 or just want to try a wireless gaming mouse look no further.I'd give it 5 stars if it had textured buttons and maybe some rubbery texture like the G7. It could also use some style. I don't mean blinking led's but the flat black is dull. I liked the glossy carbon fiber of the G7.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:- Only one model (for right hand)- Battery doesn't last very long- Logitech should include a pair of replaceable pads (gliding feet)

Pros:- Excellent design - TONS of buttons & setting- Rechargeable battery- Good grip- Can be corded or wireless
Comment:
Best mouse I've ever bought. I bought and returned 3 other models before finally getting this one and man! this is the ultimate mouse (paid $89 on sale). The mouse look is very conservative, yet so awesome. Once you figure it out, it saves your settings in the internal memory of the mouse, so you can switch computers and keep everything the way you like it. What I don't like about this mouse is the fact that the battery really doesn't last long (usually about 1-2 day if I use it a lot). It's not a big deal, but I wish it was using 2 batteries instead of only one Ni-MH, but then perhaps the weight wouldn't be as balanced. At least, the way the cord plugs in is very well designed and sturdy. The second thing I want to complain about is the gliding feet (2 stickers at the bottom of the mouse). They work really well, until one corner started to peel off. It was just about 1mm, but enough to slow down the mouse when it goes in one direction, and obviously it really bothered me. I was tempted to return it (as this happened withing a month of use) but decided to instead fix it myself. I first tried hot glue (with a glue gun); didn't work. But I noticed that using the tip of the gun I could re-flatten the pad, just like a mini iron. Then I tried crazy-glue and it worked like a charm! Problem fixed.Overall, I would recommend this mouse to anyone. Even if you're only a casual gamer like me, don't spend $50 on a shitty mouse that will break of that you'll regret buying after a while. This is the best $100 I ever spent on a mouse, and I know it will last a very long time, as pretty much anything else from Logitech.

Comment:
I've been using Logitech gaming mice since the G7. Until I plugged the G700 in the G7 was the best mouse I had ever used. I've tried various other brands from Microsoft to Razer with nothing but disappointment. The G700 is without a doubt the best mouse I have ever use to date. It's accurate, adjustable and conforms to Logitech's high build quality standards for gaming peripherals. I highly recommend this product for anyone and everyone looking for a great mouse for any and all tasks.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:-Battery life is a little bit less than what I was hoping (works for maybe 2 days on a full charge), but that could be a setting that I have on.-Premium mouse = Premium price

Pros:-Great build quality-More programmable buttons than you can shake a stick at-Setpoint software works great-free spinning mouse wheel is great-Very comfortable and accurate-Charging cord that can charge the mouse while in use is much better than the charging stations Logitech used to use.-On the fly sensitivity changing
Comment:
Amazing mouse, not a single complaint about it besides maybe the price (but you get what you pay for) and the battery life. Setpoint is great as usual, lets you customize everything, ever button can be set to application specific controls, etc. Haven't had a single issue with it and the charging cord is a huge improvement design wise. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great mouse.

G700 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Cons:Poor wireless batter life. Only good for about 8hours of active use

Pros:Great gaming mouse, lots of programmable buttons.
Comment:
Nice gaming mouse. Disapointed by the battery life of the mouse however, I can no longer use it as a "wireless" mouse because i have to keep it teathered to my computer via USB cable. Either it needs to have a better battery or a docking station. The Logitech Setpoint software you need to program all of the buttons and change the mouse setting via your computer does not come with the mouse and needs to be downloaded from their website.
