I brought this camera to carry in my vehicle since i am in broadcasting. This camera gives you a great picture and options for a very good price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good starting camera. I would prefer a metal case.

I bought myself this camera for christmas based on the optical zoom (5x), anti-shake and the price. I'm not sold on the anti-shake as yet, but this camera has more features than I've been able to figure out as yet. It's also survived 3 falls from various tables thus far, something none of its 3 predecessors can say.

I love the camera! Get it if you are thinking about it. However, I was disappointed and shocked at the shipping and packaging. The box it was shipped in was 3 times as big as needed, and there was NO padding (except for a very thin piece of paper). This was pathetic as my camera arrived rattling as a picked the package up. WHAT?!?!? Totally pathetic. I called and complained, and I am waiting for a response from managment. Sorry. I just had to vent. Thanks.

The features of this camera are very nice; it is a very user friendly camera, although I think the one I had needed to be refurbished, could not get a clear pic under any conditions, and (even tried mounting on a tri pod) otherwise a good camera

This is a very nice camera at a very reasonable price. It has all the features I need and then some, and it is very easy to use and carry. I recommend it.

Very crisp photos, camera starts up quickly, features are easy to use, flash is more than adequate, battery life is good for a digital (use lithium!!), camera is built fairly well and doesn't feel cheap. The auto smile feature is something I haven't quite figured out the point of or how well it ''could'' work. We just shut it off. When I attempt to use the SD card inserted into a reader I cannot read the data. It's a formatting issue possibly. I get around it by using the proprietary USB cable that came with the camera, and plug the camera into the PC directly. Not a big deal in my book. Overall you cannot go wrong with this camera. I am VERY happy with the picture quality. Our other digital camera is a SLR Rebel XTi and we use this new point and shoot camera for parties and family gatherings etc. Great deal!!

I got this Camera for Christmas & i love it.It is an excellent camera for the price with loads of features.It takes great pictures and the batteries last a good while. If your looking for a $1000 camera for $84.99 then don't buy this camera but if you want a great camera for an awesome price then this is the camera for you.

The camer performs great, has more features than I will ever use. For the money I couldn't find a camera with 10 mp and 5 optical zoom. The only issue is it can use up batteries. But - they are easly purchased since they are AA.

I bought this for my daughter. She just told me to put down that the camera works perfectly, takes great pictures, and that she loves it. She just downloaded another 300 pictures onto her computer. Apparently she is quite pleased with it as she always has it with her, either in the case or her purse.

I am extremely pleased with the product. I had a problem with the SD card I bought separately and GE tech service sorted it out for me very quickly and efficiently. I can't believe the great features and quality pictures for so little money. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

This is a nice little camera that does the job. It's very light weight, has many features - I got the bundle package which was a great deal which included a 4 gig memory card, tripod and case. Which is why I gave a higher mark for value. Shipped in bery good time and well packed. I'm enjoying having a camera again!

It was a Christmas gift for my oldest son and he absolutely loves it. It has all the features he was looking for - video with sound, slow motion, panorama. It takes decent pictures, but not awesome. It seems to struggle some with focus on indoor low light snapshots. Make sure it is in focus before taking the picture. It is quick to take pictures from startup. The menu system could be better to navigate but all in all for the price it is hard to pass up.

I've used several of the much higher priced strong-shot cameras of a competitor, all of which were fine cameras. This GE matches or beats them, both in quality of camera and images, and really in price. Getting a useful 5x optical zoom for $80 or so is a great deal. I bought this camera to have one in my pocket at all times, ready for whatever needs to be photographed, especially where the 5x optical zoom really helps. I've shot several hundreds of JPEGs with this camera and am entirely satisfied.

I wanted a cheap knockaround camera I wouldn't be afraid to carry with me all the time and I love this one. Easier to run through the options than others I've had, takes great photos. Hope to get another for my daughter soon.

This camera has lots of features, but can be put in automatic mode to save time for the novice users. Smile detection and blink detection features make taking great pictures a breeze. Great job GE, who knew you made great cameras!

This camera is very easy to use, takes great pictures. I put in a larger atorage card,8GB, and now it will hold up to 2700 pictures. So far everything I have done with it works ferfect and easy. Even making a viseo. Love the camera...
